The Baha 5 Smart is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 46.1 MB to download. The new Baha 5 Smart app version 1.0 has been updated on 2014-11-25. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Do we have a date on when the latest Apple update will be fixed I really miss being able to control my Baha with my phone I can t control it with the actual device so I have to keep just taking the battery out when I need quiet I also miss being able to listen to music on my iPod I got this brand because it suppose to work really well with Apple products but since the iOS 11 1 update I haven t been able to connect my Baha to my phone I hope there will be a fix soon I did call almost a month ago and they told me that they were aware of the issue and working on a fix which is why I asked when it would be fixed         Apple update won t let me connect to my phone SickPuppiesFan

I ve had this app for 11 months with my newer BAHA it worked beautifully on my iPod Touch I absolutely loved it I could turn on my tv streamer still do things on here while listening to the tv However with the latest Apple update to version 11 1 2 The control center feature was changed I can no longer control the hearing feature like I used to it is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING I don t know if this is a BAHA app problem or an apple update problem But I can t seem to get to apple support for this                     Great BAHA app but new change on apple iPod Grannylou2

I use 2 hearing devices and keeps dropping on one side went from iPhone 6 to iPhone 7 and upgrades hearing devices the issues is streaming u tube I iHeartRadio working great if just to talk to people I hope they work on this let me know if you re having issues please                     Hearing dropping Mrsanbag

Don t count on this app to sync in a timely manner It will be searching for your paired devices for sometimes a few minutes straight If they fix it to be reliable and connect in a timely manner be wonderful Thought something was wrong with my bahas it s just the app confirmed that with audiologist Cochlear fix this app for godsakes as a office supervisor on the go it s a epic fail smh     Great device horrible app Mooglyooogly

When I ve had my new Baha 5 smart it was working very good and i love the Bluetooth and i loved my Baha 5 app and now why it s not connecting since it got upgraded already         Baha 5 Smart Prabjoat

After weeks of not being able to pair my BAHA 5 processor to my phone through the app I was able to first pair the processor through iOS settings and then pair it reliably in the app Go to Settings Accessibility MFi Hearing Aids and pair your BAHA there Afterwards the app discovered and connected to the BAHA almost immediately It would be nice if the app were updated to explain this behavior             Pairing process seems to have changed idiolect

iPhone 8 paired with Baha 5 Power Totally useless I had to buy an iPhone because the Android version of this app only controlled volume and the ability to switch between programs and because according to Cochlear the Baha is tailored for iPhones and allows more setting changes within the app The iPhone app does allow bass and treble changes but doesn t save the changes Also when streaming notifications to the Baha the Baha shuts off when receiving a notification for two seconds and when it comes back on you have absolutely no idea what the notification was because you didn t get to hear the tone because the Baha shut off And when it turns back on it s really loud for about 5 seconds then shut back off then comes back on and returns to the normal setting you were on before the notification Whoever designed this app obviously doesn t wear a Baha or hearing aid and surely didn t consult with anyone who does Now I am stuck with an 800 iPhone when I was content with my Samsung     Useless JonnyBlaze420

I love the new BAHA with Bluetooth and this app was used to set it up It worked fine and my iPhone rang directly into my hearing aid and that was cool The other day I lost my BAHA I went to the BAHA Smart 5 app to try the feature to locate my missing BAHA kinda like the find my iPhone app Even if the BAHA is not turned on it is supposed to display a map showing the last known location of the BAHA But the app only allows me to use in Demo mode It wants me to pair the BAHA and will not work until the pairing takes place But the pairing was performed initially in January and the iPhone rang to my hearing aid with no problem right before I lost it so the app should have been able to open but it would not It appears to me that the July 2017 update wiped out something in the app I had the loss covered by insurance but everyone would have been better off if the stupid app worked     Okay App but horrible update Great_App_I_Love_It

This is not a game application it is for a necessary medical appliance When the app no longer connects to the medical appliance the user can t adjust the appliance settings or even access settings When will this be fixed     The app is broken Please FIX THIS Another Annoyed User.

Good app in principle but it drops out frequently on me I m on an iPhone 6 Plus and reconnecting can be slow and frustrating I find using the separate remote faster and not prone to losing the link In spite of the qualified success are there any plans to port this over to an Apple Watch             Good but not solid Reitiredguy

This app will crash close sometimes while in use What I ve found is that the iPhone needs to be very close to Baha 5 Normally I use a shirt pocket for this For those occasions where it can t find the sound processor I turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone and the turn it back on This resets the app and connects to the sound processor When 1st using the Baha 5 in the morning I leave the battery door open which means the processor is off Then I turn the Baha 5 on wait for 5 rings then bring the app up on the iPhone After 10 rings Baha 5 and phone normally connects Then I just put the phone in my shirt pocket App has not been updated since downloaded Dec 2016 This app will also have trouble if your iPhone is paired with vehicle Bluetooth system             Works OK but cobra1023

I really wish Cochlear put a manual volume control on the BAHA I upgraded to a new iPhone a few months ago and have tried hundreds of times to pair my phone with my BAHA and was only successful once Then one day the two magically paired for about 2 days Sadly the pairing disappeared for no reason I can ascertain and every attempt I ve made to pair have been unsuccessful since Really annoying because I m in meetings a lot and it would make my work so much easier if I could adjust my volume It s to the point where I m thinking of trying to find an old iPhone to get the pairing function back I tried working with Cochlear they state this is a known problem and they have no solution     Pretty much never works with new iPhone Mischaluv

1 It is a tremendous pain to get the app to find my device 2 If I can eventually connect to my device at random times it disconnects 3 The volume doesn t go high enough I created a program with both the bass and treble all the way up and it helps a bit but when the app disconnects randomly I lose that extra volume     The App Fails EddT21

In order to use the BAHA with the iPhone you must have iOS 8 and those iterations You cannot have iOS 9 This information comes from Cochlear who was contacted by Apple Support on my behalf             Nonfunctional with iOS 9 Ezaldean

When the app works it is good Unfortunately it has only been able to find my BAHA 5 one time in a week I am using an iPad Air original with the latest iOS 9 01 update I am wearing the BAHA while the app tries to find it so it is about 15 away The one time I got it to work I had turned the BAHA iPad off back on a number of times to reset everything I don t know if it was all the off on or things just decided to work that time but it was nice The app works great in demo mode I played with that while waiting for my BAHA 5 to arrive I was really hoping this would work as easily as the demo Hopefully there will be an update soon         Demo is great Reality is not so great Smidgentigre

I started using this app with my I Phone 6 and seemed to work well but since I upgraded to the new I Phone 6s the app doesn t recognize my processor and when it does it only works for short time The good thing about the I Phone 6s is you can go into the settings and program your processor and make the necessary adjustments     Use to work DBrees9
