Bank of the West Mobile Banking

I can log in without problem Slow though It shows the balance for my accounts But once I click on the detail it shows System Error I called tech support two times The only thing they can do is to ask me to uninstall the app and reinstall the app It did not help at all That means I can login to check the account balance only     Wont show the detail

Was fine before bug fixes made now am getting login error messages unable to access     App not working now

Its the exact same thing as the mobile web version and it doesnt save your login information for each time you open it It takes forever to load Its a pointless app        Pointless

Works one minute and then is worthless the next This app makes me regret leaving Chase They have a great app Bank of the Wests is severely lacking     Inconsistent

There are issues with this update It takes quite awhile to load and then when you want to check your balances on your accounts it errors out This update needs to be fixed Dont update to 30 version     30 update

Loading but not opening I have tried everything from reinstalling the app to upgrading to new ios or calling customer service but nothing worked Pls help     Not working

The bank of the west needs to fix the way the transactions dont update When I purchase something it never shows or it shows days later I am considering going back to Chase because I cant see my transactions on the app     Please fix your app

Whoever they picked to design the look and feel of this app plus the usability and general UI did a great job There are some minor back end tech glitches that they need to figure out though to make it more reliable                 Great design but needs more reliability

So I tried to make a transfer to make sure I had the funds to cover some purchases Apparently the transfer never went through on BOTWs app and now Im faced with nearly a 100 fee that they will not refund Use this app if you are ok with that risk Needless to say Im done with BOTW after being a customer for over 10 years Talk about being stabbed in the back     Overdraft fees for technical issues

I love this appbut after the last update the app wont let me transfer money from my checking to my savings account Now it always says Please set up an account to transfer into but Ive always been able to do that before Such an inconvenience Please fix this issue itd be much appreciated Thank you              Please fix issue

This is now like banking was 1015 years ago History used to be current very quickly Now it says a transaction has cleared then it disappears the transaction is gone the next day with balances all over the place The app used to be current with the online site How does something take such a large step backwards so quickly This bank doesnt get technology     Now useless

Latest update breaks the mobile deposit feature The bottom 14 of the camera screen is blacked out Take a picture of the check youre trying to deposit and the image suddenly zooms in not what you were shown in preview while aligning the camera Not sure what this update fixed but it certainly broke things that used to work fine     Latest update breaks mobile depositcamera

App has worked for a day and then stopped login me in going through the setup loop again and again Using the website worked although that was not operating for a day as well This points to rather unreliable sloppy IT as opposed to bad app There is something wrong with how the information is sent from the app and then received on the website as using the mobile website works Also do not save user ID that seems to mess up the app too Having turnaround times of 13 days to solve any such simple IT problem is another big warning flag about fundamental IT problems at the bank Fire the CIO it is so bad     BotW has serious IT problems

Ive had an account with BOTW for a while and have so far been thoroughly satisfied with the mobile app The only reason i gave it 3 stars is the mobile deposit function It takes waaaay too long I tried it for the first time on saturday morning about 900 It is now monday almost noon and i still do not have my money Not even a partial amount of your check will go through I will be going to my local branch today to try and force it through           Pretty good

Nearly every time I hit capture the camera would refocus andor lighten the image so much that it was unreadable I probably had to hit capture at least 10 times for every one time that it actually captured an image Finally got the checks deposited but it was annoying Please fix it           Deposit camera has issues

For the past couple weeks the mobile app hasnt been updating as soon as a purchase is made It used to do it right away but its been lagging big time lately Its causing big banking issues I realize I could be more efficient with tracking purchases another way but this is so convenient Or at least it used to be it will update one of my accounts perfectly yet another one will be behind by a few days Whats happening I want to give 5 stars all the time But today I cant     Lagging

I havent been able to log into the app or mobile banking through the website since the update I called and reported it and she said she didnt see a problem as to why it wouldnt be working for me so someone would get back to me in 2 business days which they havent Fix the app I need to see my money     Cant log in after update

The app is great to see accounts and transfer funds between accounts The only problem is that it doesnt tell you the check number that cleared just the dollar amount So if I want to see which check cleared many are the same dollar amount then I have to go to the main website If they fix that its 5 stars              Great but not perfect

The app used to work Some time this summer after an update the app lags up to a week on transactions The website will show an up to date balance with all transactions but the app does not Its enough to make me want to switch banks     Lags

I like banks branches but when it comes to Apps functions and features Im not exaggerating compare to the other banks this app is at least a decade behind     Decade behind

I was very skeptical to get mobile banking because I was worried about security I also read a lot of bad reviews about Bank of the West mobile banking app so I decided to try it and I have not had any problems with it so far there have been no glitches I just log in check my accounts transfer money and log back out it is really userfriendly and I would recommend this app to anyone even my grandma              Not so bad

This app while it has gotten better is merely adequate You still cant see full details on a transaction Have to go to the website for that which defeats the purpose of having an app Also it needs support for TouchID and 1Password It is really inexcusable to not have support for these things by now Apple released the developer info back in June The only explanation is that the bank does not have an in house iOS developer and they contract it out hence the infrequent updates           Merely adequate

I love the new version of the app Im not sure what all of the complaints are for as I have never had any issues I would however make a few suggestions though The first suggestion is on the full website you can see the difference between the purchases that have been cleared versus the purchases that are still pending I would like the mobile app to to the same so I dont have to keep going back and forth between the app and the full site Next on the Payments tab I would like to see any current scheduled payments We have the option to Make a Payment View Pending Payments and Manage Payees but the pending payment tab does not reflect what is going to be paid in the next 24 hours Again on the full website you can see the payments that are scheduled I would like the mobile app to to the same so I dont have to keep going back and forth between app and the full site If it is there I dont see it The second suggestion is that I would also like to have the ability to view statements Granted you can see the purchases in the Account Balances section but why have a statement of you can only view it in the full website and not the app The last suggestion is to have Apple Pay Apple Pay is a great feature on IOS but it is worthless if where I bank does not support it Please add this feature to make online transactions seamless              Love the App New Web Page Layout but

I only have an auto loan through BOTW and that may be why I cannot make payments or even link another account to do so make extra payments on principle only which I learned you cant do on the full site either see payment duedue date original amount financed or payoff quote It doesnt even show transactions more recent than about 6 weeks ago Essentially this is an app to see the current balance and that is all Dont have high expectations when you download this and you should be fine     One of the more useless apps Ive come across

Going on 8 days since I used the photo deposit part of the app to deposit an electronic printed paycheck like you would do at an ATM except I havent received my cash over 8 days later and I have no money to buy food after paying rent Complete and utter inconvenience I Knew it would take an extra day or two like normal atm deposit but over 8 and still nothing Come on My work says they withdrew the amount already so where is it     Never using again DEPOSITS FAIL

I was hesitant to use a mobile app for image deposit however I have been a client of Bank of the West for several decades so I gave it a try yesterday it took less than 24 hours for my deposit to appear I am able to clearly see my checking account register and make internal transfers easily Im pretty happy with the app              Image deposit a success
