An excellent app to have when browsing the store shelves rating what you taste remembering what you ve tasted and reading other folks opinions Best in the App Store right now by far Social apps are tough to get right Catalog apps need enough usersub content to stay fresh and solid curation so usersub doesn t drag the thing down into YouTube comments territory Barreled is on the way to excellence with fairly straightforward social review and search interactions some decent external content critic s reviews and what seems to be a good community Sure there are a couple of interactions that could be made smoother and the in app browser is poorly executed the thing external reviews display in but these are things that should get better with time Untappd was a trash fire when I first used it but it was closer to good than anything else and it s a great app now Barreled is further along than Untappd was and hopefully it ll keep improving                 The only whiskey app worth using sdmouton

Iv been looking for a whiskey app that does something like untappd for beer This app is great The library of whiskeys is great Tasting info is great Being able to create your own libraries and wish lists is pretty cool And its free                 Great app Tot spur

This is the equivalent of Untappd for scotch and whiskey It needs some upgrades and enhancements but I believe they will come as more people use the app In its current version the app is good for logging your personal reviews as well as searching for commercial reviews and user reviews before spending on a new bottle I hope this app continues to develop and get to the the level Untappd had for beer Do not hesitate to download this app now                 Best available DocAmee

On the whole I m a very happy user The app is easy to navigate and laid out fairly well The addition of quarter stars or rings as they were to the rating scale would allow for more accurate grading Being able to see another users reviews from their profile page would be a great improvement For anyone who likes leaving tasting and nosing notes like me I would like to see some sort of emojis that would represent common attributes found in whisky This might not be easily executed but just something I would like Those items aside I think this is a great app and will continue to post reviews                 Really enjoying this app P-MAC007

I use Untappd a lot for beer and was hoping Barreled would be the same for whiskey but it s severely lacking I can t search for friends via social media and it s fun to have badges or levels based on types of whiskeys number of check in etc This lacks all the fun features of these type of apps         Great idea but lacks execution daviesn
