For those on the go this Beam designer is great It now includes GLB PSL LVL LSL and tons of loading conditions Even includes uplift 500 is saved in one use Wow This thing is GREAT for residential design buildersarchitects

You cant specify material properties and there are just a few materials to choose from You cant scroll for values on the diagrams You cant specify section properties only rectangular sections You cant change the units It is expensive Doesnt worth it

This is a great app There is no way to contact the developer however I purchased the full version and after an update I no longer have it I have tried contacting them and did not get a response and their website is down now What happened to my full version

What a fabulous app This is so professional and easy to use It will make those calculations so much quicker and easier I hope this company comes out with other engineeringarchitecture apps There arent enough out there Superb app for engineersarchitects

As architect in residential work and engineering my own beams I am very pleased with this app The free version is a steal and I was happy to buy the paid version An elegant and intuitive interface instantly learnable Would love to see steel added a limited selection of shapes say under 16 would be fine for residential work Id also like to see the allowable stresses for the selected species A pleasure to use

Very tempting text and graphics BUT the app crashes on selecting a loading pattern step 1 No response to comments to developer App is useless as delivered Dont Buy

Try sliding the green vertical line on the moment diagram All values can be seen Also tap the screen twice to see the full report Great app Clarification This is a great app for wood not steel 32 species are included plus GLBsPSLs LVLs

I downloaded the Trial Versionand read the Tutorial Great What other app has a full easy to follow Tutorial I then paid for the Full Version and am happy to say I am very pleased Good app It Works

The mere fact that this app carries approvals from building regulation organizations makes it worth the money It is especially useful for remodeling when you have limited room for structural matters The result reports are what make it shine Definitely recommended Παρακαλώ Prograde tool

As a designer sometimes I need an instant answer on job sites this provides that I can carry a small library around with me or slip my I phone in my pocket knowing that Beam Buddy is with me Great reference app
