Please fix this app it is currently useless It lowers the quality of the photos incredibly If you turn off the flash and use the timer you get flash anyway The onscreen buttons for timer and flash are VERY difficult to touch and require a precision that even my tiny fingers cant accommodate The gallery is buggy It behaves erratically when switching orientations Touching the teeny icon to open the gallery is difficult with the device removed and nearly impossible with it on Sometimes it starts automatically when I plug in the device and sometimes it doesnt DID I MENTION THAT IT IS A CAMERA APP AND IT LOWERS THE QUALITY OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS At least I can still use the device as a tripod mount Since I couldnt give less than 1 star consider that 1 start to be a thank you Belkin for not requiring use of this software to use that feature of the hardware     So bad it inspired me to go through the trouble to write a review

Please integrate the camera grip to other apps and camera roll This product is pretty sick Make it happen plz this will give you better sales           Camera grip use with camera roll other apps

Belkin when are you going to update this I bought the liveaction grip and remote Hardware works great but whew this app needs serious overhaul Start with allowing us to transfer more than 5 pics at a time to camera roll Please     Needs serious software upgrades

I am unable to recommend or even evaluate this product I have the remote BlueTooth will not connect End of story But waitMaybe support can help you say 1 There is no model number on the product I found the model in the Belkin store but 2 There is no support for the model I mean none No manuals no forum no nothing If you enter the model number you will get absolutely nothing Browse accessories and you are given a list of models of which does not include this one How can there be no support At a loss     No Live Action No Support

I loved the idea of a remote for my iPhone so promptly paid a pretty penny for it but am MOST disappointed by the necessary camera app It has no features to preset takes lousy pictures and like another reviewer said cant attach to a tripod DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT If dramatic changes are made on the camera app it might come closer to being worth the 40 I spent for the remote COME ON FOLKS there are some great camera apps out there Surely someone on your staff is smart enough to create some upgrades for those of us who have contributed to your profit and loss statement     Disappointed

The grip is near perfect could be slightly improved with an angle on the grip the shape of your palm and is what I wanted However it creates its own camera roll which does not integrate with iPhones camera roll Therefore it does not go into Photo Stream I havent figured out how to get the pictures off my phone other than emailing each one     Grip is great but it doesnt integrate with the iPhone Camera Roll

The iPhone camera grip is a great idea however the picture quality of the app is awful        Camera Quality

Im done with this stupid thing update or not I had wanted to video myself in what was an unprecedented performance of a show I did last night placing the camera no more than 56 feet away from me Confident this incredible moment was being captured I found out the hard way the video camera had never even gone on despite having tested it repeatedly just prior to the performance I may get my money back from Belkin but so what my unique moment has been left UNcaptured because of this useless app and they cant give that back to me     Update or not never again

The grip is useful The app is not anywhere near ready for prime time I can take photos with the remote but cant retrieve the photos They dont save to my Camera Roll or Cant find any instructions for the app Apparently Belkin isnt supporting this anymore hasnt been updated since June 2012        Waste of money

Camera app is too basic People that would buy the remote surely have more sophisticated camera apps Would love to use it with Pureshot Mike     Disappointed

if 1 the software does not improve quickly 2 the camera grip is not made to integrate with the iPhone better 3 the camera grip is not allowed to work with other existing camera apps This is a product with great potential But if Belkin cannot see that its policy is self defeating a competing product that actually fills the customers needs will bury it And this review will become merely a self evident fact     The camera gripgone in 18 months

I had an emergency situation in which I needed a product like this the next day and this was all that was available For those of you holding your breath for improvement shoot yourself now I will be shooting with this tomorrow and returning it the day after Congratulations Belkin you exceeded the expectations I had when I saw your name on the box Do the world a favor and stick to chargers and other products that couldnt possibly go wrong     Belkins best product ever

Very disappointed that I cannot transfer a video that is eight minutes in link to my camera roll whats up with that and I cant find any documentation stating that thats not possible very disappointed liveaction     Not happy

When I bought the grip I was unaware Id need an app for it to work I want all of the features of my other camera apps with the ability to have an easy button to snap shots and be able to mount to a tripod The app wont take shots in HDR and there are no options other than zoom flash and front or rear camera I dont see much difference in photo quality between a nonHDR shot with or without the grip Still why cant this integrate with my normal camera functions Without the options this grip is almost useless        Not what I expected

This is a pretty poor camera app However the hardware is good        App Needs Improvement

Love the Camera Grip but the Belkin app that only works with it need to be updated Very little to no features other than the flash option     App needs more workfeatures

I love the concept of a shutter clicker But I cannot stand the fact that you have to use the LiveAction app If Belkin is going to make us use their Camera app the least they could do Id make it a good app and make it as close to the stock Camera app that comes with the phone I want to see a couple of things First I want to see auto focus I use the shutter remote to capture photos from a boom and tripod I use the boom to get angles that I cant get from free standing which means I dont have the luxury of touching the object I want to have in focus I also want to see a hold to lock feature so I can hold my finger on an object and lock the focus and exposure in those cases I can press on the image that I want to keep in focus If these features were implemented on the LiveAction app I would rave about the app I would tell all my friends and have them buy the shutter remote also As it stands I would rarely recommend the shutter remote because I dont feel it is worth the money as it stands This app is good for a couple of things Landscape photography and portraits A family photo would be great with this app But this app limits creativity Photography is an art You dont limit art        Has its issues

the photo remote is an awesome idea but the app lets you down the app should be at least as good as the built in iphone camera app the lack of options and without the ability to take a photo without the app there are better options out there     great idea bad app

Please make this work with the native camera app The camera within this App is horrible The video is washed out while outside and too dark inside Yet the native app does just fine While you can multi select photos and save them to the camera roll you have to select one video at a time to save to camera roll This is very tedious with numerous clips Either fix this or just have everything saved to the roll by default So far all the Belkin grip is good for is an adaptor for a tripod At 4999 thats a pretty expensive adaptor it will be going back to the store     Good idea but horrible execution

Bought this as a clearance item from a wireless store I only purchased it because I thought it would make it more comfortable to snap pictures This thing has only worked a handful of times and usually requires me plugging and unplugging the hardware repeatedly for it to work very annoying        Good concept bad execution

New Update Works nice Not so fancy that the app became bloated slow The Grip with tripod mounting point is the best made              Solid app for GR8 iPhone gadget

Works just as it says I also have the remote shutter gadget Im able to take photos and videos at full resolution on my 4S Im able to export photos and videos perfectly to my camera stream and easily get them off It is almost perfect The only thing is My videos stop between 35 mins each time I need them to go longer Fix this and its perfect              Im taking great videos Thank you

The camera has limited functionality and the belkin mic does not integrate into the live action camera app Its your own product Shouldnt your mic work with your app        Needs lots of work

I have a tripod with a camera for my iphone and it fits perfectly the features are great for recording videos amd taking pictures so i would recommend this app to whom have a tripod with an accsesory that fits iphone                 Review

Really Belkin really This could have been great but ends up disappointing When you push the shutter the app changes the focal length right before capture resulting in a misframed composition I can make mistakes like that without outside help The hardware part of the package is very nice hopefully a future app update will let this product live up to its potential     Really

Cant be used with Camera Camera Awesome or Hipstermatic It functions great but you are forced to use their camera app which doesnt allow for separate focusing and exposure and at first glance does seem to send photos into your camera roll either The product itself is really cool but the Belkin Camera app is rubbish     Trigger cool Belkin Camera app rubbish

Jan 29th 2015 I have used the remote device for quite some time and it works nicely as a remote switch but I have found the inability of the app to zoom has become a big enough issue for me to begin looking elsewhere        Limited

Bought a used version of the bluetooth device and it worked with my iPhone 5 so did the app Pics taken are at full resolution and they also magically show up in my Camera Roll So it seems Belkin has done some work on this app I stick my iPhone on the end of a monopod held on with a GILF so I can hold the thing over my head about 4ft and remotely trigger the shutter Cant comment on anything else as I only use it for that                 Works with iPhone 5

The Belkin grip is a great idea forcing users to use this program to make it work makes it awful The app does not use the native iPhone camera features HDR for example takes an extra step so you can tell the app that you want to store photos in the camera roll and wont interface with any other program Im not sure why a good company such as Belkin would force its customers into using this Its junknot worth it even being free     Just Awful

Well its in dire need of an update since it is 2013 and iOS 7 is out needs to be optimized for iPhone 5 And the remote shutter need to be iOS camera app native           Live action

The app still needs a lot of improvement pleasepictures save slow would love to just snap away     Improve app
