The new update is an improvement if you just use your iPhone but it cuts off half the screen if you use the iPad     New update doesnt work with iPad
App constantly crashes and wont log in This shouldnt be relied on as a home security camera It works fine as a back up but not good for anything other than that     Ok app when it works
The camera is pretty solid but the App is terrible It crashes ALL the time Not one device but every device In my opinion this is the most critical pet of the solution There are cameras everywhere but the application needs to be bulletproof How frustrating to login over and over again     Terrible App
The previous version was so erratic and frustrating I did not dare demonstrating that App to anybody Now that it works it is time to address basic missing features I would start with the ability to define motion trigger zone so we can reduce false alert Being able to set the delay after the motion trigger before each of the two emailed frames would also allow to adjust to location particularity and not miss the triggerer           What a relief this new version v210
updated review The update is Definetly a step forward for this app Much faster opening screenlogin Everything is much snappier and connection to camera is almost instant now I will be testing this and give another update in a week OLD REVIEWThe app is very buggy and works only 20 of the time Also we dont need that long logo intro each time we open the app It only reminds us which company not to recommend to others           Horrible

I used to use my cams but with Seedunk subscription I have lost a useful can to just a sham     No longer useful with Seedunk subscription
Ever since I updated my WeMo app the netcam app wont connect to the server My internet is perfectly fine and running top speeds This is clearly an issue with Belkins crappy servers     No connection
Ive been waiting forever and by forever I mean months for this app to be fixed and it looks like they finally fixed it No more force closing and it loads up right away              FINALLY
App doesnt work Quits constantly Cant log in because app shuts down     COMPLETE GARBAGE
1 The eco system is filled with issues that Belkin is either ignoring or overlooking I feel under served for what Ive paid into 2 The quality of service has become worse since Ive purchased the camera No more local steaming Im forced to login on a portal to view a local stream 3 The App Hardware has accumulated so many issues that its nearly pointless to have it 4 Support service does not help I dont hate them for it I know Belkin netcam has more issues than solutions the support team is overwhelmed and under trained to resolve basic issues 5 Paid service fails to meet its selling point really badly too Records pointless things such as every moment of the sun light but not the people walking in or out of my home TLDR netcam hardware app are not worth buying trying or even worth considering Id return it for a refund ASAP     Really bad Quality of Service overall
Just like everyone else the motion notifications are useless They either dont work at all or send me pictures of nothing Im getting iPhone notifications on one camera even though I have no rule that should be sending them I cant figure out how to stop it except to turn it off in the iPhone settings I dont get the emails Im supposed to on one camera and the other sends me constant pics with nothing in 90 of the pics Complete useless It was a little better about 6 months ago Awful now     Horrible app
Unfortunately our first choice Dropcam was not available as they were sold out and currently being revamped by Nest Dropcam installed so easily and without a hitch Not so the Belkin Netcam First off the Belkin Netcam is supposed to have an iPad app We could not find it Secondly after following the directions carefully for set up account and password all good we encountered numerous errors in simply naming the camera and giving it a description I give up and back to the Best Buy it goes     Do I have to give this a star at all
This app is pretty terrible Not only is it cumbersome trying to navigate and find what youre looking for the app crashes almost 50 percent of the time Belkin support is no help They insist the problem is mine Ill continue to send feedback every time the app crashesIm on feedback number 37 now Ive had the app for about a week Update good god finally added os8 support Works as intended Wish they would have updated it earlier and actually acknowledged that the issue wasnt my internet or camera but the terrible app     App crashes daily

Wanted to like to unit but the software is so buggy and consistently failing that the camera is a useless white box No matter what device iPhone 4s 6 6 and iPad the app will conveniently forget the username and password freeze or close itself Further when it does work there is no screen rotation Next time try hiring real programmers     Almost Useless
Takes you to the login screen every time you start the app and then theres a slow slow start up before you can view the camera feed           Decent but SLOW
Ever since the new update the clips which is the motion recordings no longer works What is the point of having a security camera if it does not record motion I have had two of these cameras for well over a year and this is the first time this has happened Needs to be fixed ASAP This is the whole reason I bought these     No more clip recordings
Firstly this app needs iPad mini support as well It doesnt make sense why its only for the iPhone and big iPad if it even works with the iPad when a bigger screen could be used for better visibility Also there is no reason why even with the frames per second being turned down constant video choppiness occurs        So much potential

Since the new update the clips now isecurity do not work Once your subscription expires you cant get it back I was told over a week ago that it would be fixed and to uninstall and reinstall in 24hours That did not work Definitely a pretty big feature thats missing now     Features stopped working

I have used this software on both a 4S and a 6 with multiple versions of iOS The most recent release is the first one to allow you to purchase the premium cloud services Before this one for years the software was useless If you ever needed to hold a clip for longer than 30 days it would not be possible This is just poor programming Secondly the motion detection software is useless If the sun comes out on the least sensitive setting you get a push notification Its really quite pathetic I emailed Belkin about the cloud problem which you would think they would want to correct as they earn money from it and they told me to reinstall the software This software has not worked across platforms and OSes Belkin just doesnt care     Does Not Subscribe to Premium Service Poor Motion Detection
I keep getting an error message when entering a new user name and password I tried it several times and contacted customer support in India but they were not able to solve my problem They recommended returning the product and exchanging it Not happy with it     Error message
Ive had these 2 cameras for a while and I tried to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection from lowest to highest but theres no difference The sensitivity of motion detection doesnt work but rather its fixed It sends email pictures with nothing on it about 5060 of the time I even tried to stay and walk in front of the camera but it sent me picture minus myself thats frustrating What if burglars got inside your house and emailed you pictures without the burglars face I would just probably break that camera into pieces I was hoping the latest firmware update will resolve the problem but it didnt I could not return the camera anymore since its past due already Im just thinking of replacing it with other brand Absolutely I will not recommend this camera to anyone due to severely flawed motion detection        Useless Motion Detection
i am so sorry did not read reviews neither app nor browser simply does not display video stream belkin support is a joke could not even report problem because their webpage does not load Do not buy this camera     worst of the worst both camera and app
So Ive always had a quick setup with these cams thats pretty much the best part The app is just like their Wemo app slow outdated lacking new features and just all but forgotten by Belkin They update it from time to time but you cant really tell Once they switched all the recording and clips to their iSecurity cloud service I lost my interest in their cameras Its lame to have to open a separate parties Web page to view and store clips let alone pay however much they want a month for the service I use these cameras only as a way to watch over our puppy when we have to leave him home I stopped using the motion detection and record on motion detection as well as the snapshot email notification years ago The cameras themselves are fine for the money the app experience is definitely not all that great Rather than buy a fourth Netcam in the near future I may just buy a security camera set from Costco and give these Netcams away Belkin whats up with yall     I use 3 Belkin Netcams
App update has completely fixed so many bugs and errors but traded the old issues for missing features Ive had an open tech support case with Belkin since April 16 and it still has not been resolved Biggest issue is the motion alerts feature is completely missing from the app settings Doesnt matter if on wifi or LTE But feature magically reappears on home network With how much time and energy is wasted on this product it isnt worth the low cost I wouldnt recommend this product Pay a little more and get a better camera and app           Good Not Great
It has been an incredibly long frustrating road for their camera app Crashing as many times as launched etc A few hours into the update 3 Belkin cameras quick to load quick pictures from each unit no crashes or MIA units One camera had been unable to reinitialize for months got it going today thru this app update So I am a happy camper at this juncture              Update so far pretty good
The HD cameras work well setup is simple the iPhone app is fine and motion detection is adequate But live video recording times out after only 4 minutes Thats unacceptable Furthermore the only mention of that limitation online is on obscure page that no camera shopper is ever likely to find Thats also unacceptable I saw it only after a Belkin support person sent me a link to it during an online chat session That support person told me its a hardware matter but that seems unlikely It would be all the more unacceptable if true Im pretty sure its determined by the app software I hope Belkin will remove the limitation If I had known of the recording limitation I would not have purchased the cameras        Video Recording Time Limit
I can never get into the app Camera works great but is useless without the app unless you carry a laptop everywhere and have wifi     App fail
For the most part I like this can and system Especially for the price But please fix the problem in having on iPhone I get a notification and when I click to open the app and it sends me to the clips it always has code showing and not the video If I open the app directly and not from the push notice it is fine But an annoying extra step when youre paying for service Help Thank you for looking at this           Notification open error

We installed this camera to keep an eye on our dogs wen were away from home because they can be quite mischievous As long as there is ample lighting the camera works great and we can both see and hear them immediately upon opening the appcamera You will be amazed at seeing your dog standing up on a table barking out the window In short we love this app and plan to purchase a second camera for another room in the house                 Love this app

This application is horrible It never works Just when you think its going to work you get the message that says no feed or cannot access cameras Dont waste your money on the cameras or your time on this app Spend a little more money and get a better camera with better apps     Dont waste your time on this app
Ive spent hours on support with people who dont listen and dont even know their product Was told issue would be fixed in a week took a month Found that theres no 3rd party app support and only way to view recorded video is to purchase a subscription that cost 15 PER camera PER MONTH Get outta here just ridiculous     Crappy cameras crappy software crappy support
I recently purchased a netcam to watch over my puppy when we arent home Its a great camera with easy set up But you go to use the app and nothing works You cant login or set up your camera With the new IOS 9 out you would think they would update the app and improve on it I called and asked one of their phone technicians when they would be updating this app and he said he didnt know Which kind of blew me away Its your system and you cant tell me when itll be updated Like come on     NetCam App Outdated
Im going to write you reviews and leave you one star every single day to express my frustration with your crappy cameras and app I wasted hundreds of dollars on your product that I cant get back from the stores and I want you to know how shy your app and your cameras are I hope your whole company folds     Everyday
The camera is great app is ok but does not do what I want If there is motion to include shadows cast by the sun shining through the windows it snaps two shots sends email But nothing causing the movement If I walk into the room it takes two shots and emails them to me Most of the time the shots are after I have left the room If I want to stream video constantly to my phone it will do that or I can remotely snap stills Buy I cant be constantly streaming What I would like the camapp to do is send me a text if there is motion I could then stream video or take shots of what ever is causing the motion I have the sensor set to lowest sensitivity but it is still triggered by shadows Looking for a better app Anyone know of anything that will do what I want           The camera is great

I liked the camera enough to ignore the horrible reviews but WOW I wish I hadnt Not to be dramatic but this is THE WORST APP ever Seriously When it does work outside of my home it crashes every time I login then its fine for a few minutes before asking me if Im still watching When I click yes it shuts down and I have to log in again NOTE even if youve selected the auto login option you will need to login whenever youre on a new WiFi network I get that this is for security purposes but its annoying nonetheless Aside from the horrible app which is the only way to monitor remotely the camera is great Clear picture and I love the voice activation option If Belkin came up with a way to make the app available on computers with a constant stream this would make things a lot easier     The WORST
