Graphisoft SE , the publisher behind many iOS app (BIMx Lab ,GSPartner ,BIMx Docs - Building Information Model eXplorer for complete project documentations ,GSPark CarWash ,BIMx), brings BIMx with a number of new features along with the usual bug fixes. BIMx app has been update to version 2.0.3239 with several major changes and improvements. App release that improves performance, provides several new options.

The BIMx is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 8.9 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.0.3239 has been released on 2014-11-24. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Use it all the time to share with clients including the VR features This program has helped us to score many projects Awesome program RT Studio

Despite occasional issues this app has become an integrated part of our process allowing us to display and share construction documentation from ArchiCAD throughout the entire construction phase The addition of Google Cardboard support has similarly allowed us to present buildings at scale to clients Being able to see elements 1 1 allows everyone to make informed opinions There s still room for improvement but BIMx has become a necessary part of our practice Incredibly useful Architecturegeek

This is a beautiful app and it is truly amazing It can be a bit difficult to learn to move in 3D mode but after a bit it s easy The details are grate and the app is very easy to view any part of the home With that said I am very disappointed that I can t edit anything It just views only If there was an in app purchase for a builder modifier then this app would be perfect Good but wish it had more Alllen70

I got it and followed instrustions but it wont let me do ANYTHING Can t even make a building Meowing cat

Although this a demo app it gives an adequate glimpse as to the many possibilities of the Pro version That will be my next step BIMx App Steve's 5c

If you re a nerd for architecture this app is calling to you The app itself features Easy to download 3D architectural renderings from the BIMx site through the app Optional annotations Floor Plans Pan Zoom on models Also you can create your own model from a computer publish it to the BIMx site and download it through the app If you love architecture there s many to choose from If there s something you can t find hey you can always d i y or get someone else to do it for you Other than that this app is gr8 8 8 m8 Perfect For Architectural Nerds CassTheArchitectureWhore

Once I used this app for the first time I realized how well it was constructed and how amazing the creators made this app it is a wonderful way to have downloaded files of homes and buildings for architecture planning building etc But in all this app has for sure earned from me a great 5 Stars This app is wonderful for all architects Kravkenincho

This has been a great tool for communicating with clients I have a few suggestions for future upgrades My clients tend to find the user interface hard to use at first It responds too rapidly to user input you try to move a bit and find yourself on the other side of the building There are tricks to solve this but this only gives the impression that it s more complicated than it is The same surface is rendered differently depending on what kind of element it s applied to I have a model with gypsum board on the walls and a barrel vaulted ceiling and the ceiling is darker than the walls no this is not the result of lighting It would be great top have access to layers in the iPad app as we do in the desktop version Navigation in the desktop version is even harder than in the app Rotating the model is especially difficult I d like a grayscale shading option in the app Clients get bogged down by materials when they view a model I don t want to create a model without surfaces just for BIMx I d like to be able to turn them off and have simple grayscale shading instead Very good room for improvement Dymmwytt

BIMx and BIMx Docs bring extremely useful and powerful visualizations to clients and customers The apps demonstrate how drawings are but 2D slices through a physical 3D and alphanumeric database model of a building Many clients and customers have difficulty translating 2D into 3D but BIMx shows these important linkages BIMx Docs is excellent value for money and is one of the first user manual apps available to building owners Superior BIM App and Building a User Manual pallsopp

As alwys wonder by Graphisoft Archicad came out when Mac OS was the only real operating system to me it is only natural that they launchit on the iPhone before any other 2nd grade phone OS it is only a sign of intelligence and professionalism instead of corporate greed and stupid reckless strategy Creation Graphisoft

This is a fantastic app for showing models in the design stage It is true that you either need Archicad or know someone who has it to get your models into the app or you can also walk around other peoples designs that you can download from the app If you use a autodesk product like revit you are going to have to convert it into a 3ds file to import it into Archicad which can create some problems this may not be true for the newest version of Archicad so I like using sketchup for early design stuff anyway I have not had any problems doing it this way I wish that I would have had this as a way to show my projects back in college Wish I had this back in college

This is NOT for building home models This program is exceptional for product development and review of ArchiCAD files for client use Easy controls and fast save make this a choice tool over sending client elevations Most homes will have floor plans generated and simply send the Bimx file for review Great tool Great Tool for review

Well they did a good job on teaching the moving controls but not at the actual animation part therefore showing the app is literally pointless If they will ACTUALLY TEACH THE CONSUMER how to MAKE structures that would really help Seriously

This program gave my iPod a virus My safari worked before I open the program Now I cant open safari I have tried everything to fix but cant If you want safari to never work again download this app Virus
