Ever since the website update this app no longer works Its been almost three weeks They dont seem to care about the app What a waist posting all that comic con coverage     Pictures

The recently upgraded version of this app is much more aesthetically pleasing to look at The interface better represents the color and content of the website Also users can more conveniently access saved articles and videos for watch with a link on the main menu I also found video playback to be a bit stronger This is a worthwhile horror science fiction and comic news app for lovers of the genres           Blastr

Why would you make an iPad app that needs flash player to watch videos        Fix this

These App is crashing again Not only do we not get pictures and some video now it crashes Does no one tested the App     Crashing Again

It wont load any of the pictures for the articles     Has stopped working

This used to be a great app but now the pictures dont load up and theres no video ques Whos managing this app Fire them and hire someone who gives a crp Letting a terrific app like blastr just crud it up is painful     Update please No pics videos

Has become pretty much unusable for anyone using the voiceover screen reader for blindwhats worse is that the feedback doesnt seem to be read by anybody and there are never any responsesIt just gradually gets worse and worse and more more unusable     Almost completely unusable for blind users using voiceover screen reader

The app has become almost unusable as much of the voiceover screen reader support for blind users has essentially been broken Theres no way to swipe left or right now and so theres no way to use application properly as a blind user The voiceover screen reader has been completely shattered due to the 40 to upgrade Hopefully the developers can focus on this and possibly fix it as it would not be difficult Please dont forget about me or any other blind user     Much of voice over support for blind users has been broken

Seriously this app is not being managed I used to love getting the articles of the latest Scifi news Now they only report on rumor and gossip The reporting is very juvenile and often late By the time they write a piece on something pretty much everyone else heard it already so its not the latest its just late Also you can tell that Blastr doesnt work on the weekend but they never have new articles Poorly managed commenting is difficult and they dont respond to complaints So for the latest news on Scifi better head to Twitter or FB     They just stopped caring

I really enjoy Blastrs articles For that reason I use the app several times a week I do wish it marked articles that I already read so I could easily see where I left off last time I was in the app Itd be helpful to have some options to customize the UI For example the top stories area looks nice but it is a waste of space for people who frequent the app Itd be nice to be able to turn it off Also the font size is a bit small and light Itd be great if I could adjust it Still I love the Sci Fifantasy content and will continue to use the app once I find my reading glasses              Great content

Miss Dvice app all BlastR is movie reviews I miss the gadgets and cool new tech coming out learning about summers hottest gadgets and cool things about space add a feature to where I can choose what I want to see     Movie review app

Ive dealt with your 1st subpar app for a couple years only to have it replaced with a worse app Amazingly stupid Your old app you couldnt view pictures weve now traded that for a completely unstable slow experience And no read and not read indications Why dont you get a real app development team and get a clue Like most app developers Love the articles just cant read them for the constant crashing     Are you kidding me

Hasnt been sound in video clips for a number of versions The latest release still hasnt fixed it     No sound in video clips

I enjoy reading the articles on this app but this app takes the most memory of ANY on my device Only my content of photos and music take more memory It should get content on the internet or at least allow this selection not save books and books worth of memory My space is limited and deleting this app will help the most           Memory Hog

The App was not fixed 1st Review 2nd below They just made a link to the not so good mobile site The last version of the App was awesome if it would simply work We just wanted that version fixed The new version is not 40 its more like a 10 project someone lazy put together If I had to buy it and I do spend money on iTunes no money from me 2nd Review this App is getting worse Not showing videos or pics and crashing Get what you pay for I would buy the old app if it would work it was good even with the bugs unlike this crap     Poor Solution App is really link to mobile site

This was a great app until iOS 7 With the new update the blastr app cant playback video content and freezes my iPad mini to the point that I must hard reset it it becomes 100 unresponsive So disappointed in this app used to be my most used app Now I cant even use it        WAS a great app

The new update performs 10 times better than the old version I do however miss the bubbles that would keep track of read vs unread articles Would get 5 stars if you could bring this feature back              Update

December 30 2013 With the latest update The app shuts down immediately upon opening Worst waste of digital space ever You cant even see any of the articles July 10 2013 All new thumbnails are blankly black I didnt get anymore pictures anymore and only had the thumbnail as the only image related to the article Now all new thumbnails are a black square June 26 2013 SHIELD had a different acronym Dont know what it is The title loaded but the story did not Extremely annoying When I google it or anything else I make sure I dont go to the blastr website This seems to happen when only one story is available June 3 2013 If only one story is going to appear it will not load Only the title of the story loads I then search for it in google and I do not use blastrs website Why give them a web hit when their app is useless May 7 2013 Why doesnt an article completely load It just shows the title When i hit the refresh button nothing reloads May 2nd 2013 No pictures No video Feb 15 2013 No Pictures No Video Great App Gone Terribly Bad Feb 1st 2013 App still has blank articles And all those old articles that appeared two weeks ago are still blank and are now lost because Blastr isnt going to post them correctly And your site does not deserve hits because of your crummy app January 17 2013 The App hadnt had any new stories for a week now Finally now sitting on the John it updates with just a hand full of headlines Really interesting Headlines about New Zealand Tardis Money or Abrams directing a Star Wars movie The all had a small image attached But all the articles are blank I have since removed this App and have continued my subscription with The National Inquire since they seem to be better adept than SyFy at this electronics bit     BLSTR is a Waste of Space

I used to visit this site daily then the app made it even easier there were bugs I couldnt see some stories and some links wouldnt work Now it crashes the instant I try to open it I ended up uninstalling it for a while Shame I dont know where else to get the info I was getting on Blastr     Crashtastic

Just deleted it This app is a WAFWOT It loads very slow then crashes every time while wasting huge storage space to do that     Blastr crashes

Several years back this was a great app but technical issues have plagued the app for years The last two revisions have made significant improvements in stability I guess NBC finally got its crap together because even the Blastr staff take a few nasty shots at them once in a while Also no amount of programming will change a couple of their writers habit of trying to hype some tiny rumor about an intheworks project into a controversy or discussionyeah fix the login issues if you want a discussion The new app is stable displays images and captions correctly looks more like the website has a nice design and is once more an app I enjoy opening once or twice a day for a little sf news There are still some problems FB login problems difficulty posting comments and videos often arent visible though you can USUALLY follow a link to get to themthats just annoying these days Embedded videos have been around for a decade or more right However this is still better than previous versions I just worry that its too little too late for a lot of sf fans              Finally a solid revision

Read Blastr through your Safari browser The original App was good but not great before it became unusable for a year This version looks much better but is equally as unusable Constant crashes leggy performance and does not respond well to touch input kind of a big deal on an iOS device     Just Bad

They finally added iPhone 5 support but now iOS 7 is out and this app is outdated again           About time but still outdated

The 40 update is fantastic there may be a few bugs but after years of neglect who cares Blastr is back                 A much needed update

I like the news even if it is a little dated However why this app cant remember what story youre reading is maddening I frequently start a story and get interrupted by kids or work When I go back to the app it defaults back to the first story and loses my story Why this isnt fixed I dont understand     Incapable of remembering article

It does not go around asking for a tv provider but the only bad thing is it will constantly freeze up on you maybe like it did me s I cant view their shows well this app only gets one star because it aint fixed yet please fix it     Not worth downloading

This update was 2 years late but at least it happened I guess The image section still is annoying as the image is larger than the screen allows with no way of zooming out so you can never see the full image           Getting better
