Block the Bad Stuff

I love my new Cisco Linksys EA4500 router with cloud technology and this app makes it even better Very easy to block all users of my home network from seeing porn sites or other bad sites Really cool how you can throttle the filter up and down or on off from my iphone when at work or away from home Keeps the kids from seeing stuff on the web they should not Thank you Cisco and this app Great solution                 Works great with Cisco Linksys EA Router to block bad sites

I installed this app in hopes of extra protection for my network and it crashed my network My ability to connect to the wireless router was blocked I deleted the app and went and reset my router then I could connect again I do not recommend this app to anyone who uses wifi on their router     Horrible App

Handy program You can do this within the router but I use the app as the router is not easily configured on the phone Wish there was a way to save login info              Handy

Stopped working when the iOS7 was installed I get strange errors and it says it cant connect to my router even though it lists my router as being connected     Dont work

Well it is a great app and does many things well in my case I had a router ea6500 that just was bad had connectivity issues wirelessly I had no options at the bestbuy other than to get another Cisco 6500 So when I got it back and set it up I went to my app after changing the name on the new router found out no you cant change the name within the app however this is the only way one can use the app period is with the original router name or no dice That is the reason The rating is so low low functionality come on you app programmers get to work to fix this and Cisco shame on you for not allowing admin of the apps within the smart wifi shell I would say guys do some better analysis of your software     Cannot change router name

Awesome that there arent a whole bunch of settings Does just what I wanted Any changes are instantaneous And I can make changes remotely Nice              Easy easy Very happy

This app simply sets your router dns settings to nortons dns settings You are better off registering for an opendns account and customize your own filters Im slightly disappointed But for 099 the UI looks good and it makes it easy for non technical people Unfortunately this did not solve my issue of someone manually setting dns settings on their own computer        Not much is provided here

Love the approach and the elegant solution to blocking out the nasty                 Easy to use and serves its purpose

If you have to rebuild your router from the factor defaults this app will not work and shows both the old name and the new name     Router rebuild

Why pay 299 for a pretty colored dial Because you are too lazy to go to into your routers static DNS settings and add two IP addresses Go to Nortons site they walk you through the one step process     You can do it

App just stopped working for some reason Says it cant find the router but I am able to configure it and use it on any machine Something is wrong with the app please fix     Was working good

Consistently crashes router any time I activate the app Deactivate it and router is fine     Crashes router

It did not crash my entire network as some said Blocks bad sites Well see if it blocks good sites ever I like it because I can block it at the router and other filters cannot block all browsers              Seems to work

Couldnt give 0 stars Reinstalled my router now the app constantly says it cant find my network If I were the developer I wouldnt put my name thanks to thermoriffic I configured static DNS Anyway I can get back this 299     Crap

First the app causes my internet traffic to slow down Second it blocks sites like google Third it doesnt work at all on the 5 GHz band What a waste of time and money     Doesnt work

Very simple parental controls app Three levels of support using Norton ConnectSafe This is a worth the 99 cents for this app If you have kids that can use the internet this is one of the many Apps I would get for my Linksys Smart Wifi Router                 Simple and Easy its a must have

I have tried all forms of site filtering programs at the PC or device level for years None of those programs have worked as well as this Didnt know it existed Just bought a new router and found it came with this filter option So fantastic Saves hours of headaches I have three teenage kids and filtering the bad is always a worry in the family but more thanks to this excellent app                 Excellent App

Even the lowest security setting when active will prevent access to the Linksys Smart wifi site and all of the other router management tools for iPhone You have to log directly into your router from a wired machine and clear the settings manually Stupid     Works so good that it blocks all router management apps

It worked before but not after update on my iPod touch Great app until now Please send fix ASAP     Wont open after update

So help me God if you dare charge me the 399 for this worthless piece of crap Im going to file suit People the other apps for Linksys Smart are ok This is a joke I set it to the lowest level and it immediately blocked all 12 of my attached devices Took me 3 hours to get it all back straight Will be denying this charge on my credit card bill for sure Whoever you are that wrote this program You are worthless and a mooch You could program DOS if it bit you in the butt     OMG You just wiped out my network

Not a bad app But for 99 they should let you know that you have to create an online account at linksys before the app is usable           Not enough info

App by itself is good very slow performance Not easy to switch between Filters Logon takes horrible time        Horrible app but functions good

This app has some serious problems It blocks me from Microsoft Live Mail over and over again calling it a malicious website but when I click on the likn to the detaild report it comes up as a safe website Go figure Meanwhile i had to disable the App to get my email A waste of money     Blocks the Good Stuff

Basically this app just installs the DNS server IP addresses for Norton ConnectSafe on your router automatically for your DHCP clients Good for the nontech savvy to get some protection for all your computers however not having your router in the DNS list breaks local name resolution It works but I guess I was expecting a little more from this app I only would recommend this for a casual user who isnt comfortable modifying their router settings otherwise just google Norton ConnectSafe and save yourself a dollar For as little as it does this should have been a free app           Frontend for Norton ConnectSafe

Very dangerous appkilled my EA6500 Dont know how but after I ran the app all connections dropped and then after reboot firmware upload my wireless encryption WEP started refusing clients Nightmare Linksys offered me 10 off my next router purchase Insult to injury U want to risk crashing and trashing your access router try the app     EA6500

This app set the dsn ip addresses incorrectly After manually setting the ip addresses myself the router functioned correctly Seems troubling it would do that incorrectly     Somewhat disapointing
