Blocks content but as far as I can tell hasnt blocked a single ad Really
Before updating Other than that a solid 3 Has some problems making safari page loading funky and some ads on some sites arent blocked Would be nice to know whats changed in the last version
So far it pretty much blocks all the ads Ive run into Unfortunately it sometimes blocks content I want The nytimes page comes up blank as does npr On other pages sometimes the text of the article is blocked too It advertises a Whitelist to prevent this from happening but it doesnt work The app has promise but Id wait to pay until these issues are fixed Good little frustrating
I just wish it had one switch I dont want to think I just want to block Please make it simpler Seriously Too many choices

Ive got an iPhone 5 running the latest update to iOS9 Unfortunately this app doesnt work with such an iPhone Caveat emptor not compatible with iPhone 5
Sort of works mostly doesnt On the sites I visit it seems like 50 of ads make it through Lots of ads get through

Just follow the steps So simple to set up Please dont pull support for your app like the developer of Peace I dont feel bad about using this on any site that sends me to the AppStore when I havent even clicked on anything or that pop ads up over the entire screen However please be willing to whitelist sites that are respectful towards readers with their ad placements They need revenue and it would be a shame if they couldnt pay their staff You can hold the refresh button and youll see some options pop up on the bottom of the screen Pick reload without content blockers and then youll be able to see if a site abuses ads or you can get a site to work if they blocked functionality due to the ad blocker Works great Use wisely
I tried purify 1blocker peace and others This one was the only one that was able to get rid of blank spaces and also did not break my pages Gets rid of blank spaces
Its a joke that I can update my older iPad to the new operating system that this app has to have to be functional Only then to be told by the app during purchase that the app is not compatible with my device Makes no sense If the new operating system can run then the app should run as well Not compatible with older devices
This app works good and gives just the right level of control Nice balance
Blockr does what it is supposed to do it blocks everything I can use the News app or reload the page if it blocks too much Safari is much faster I plan to add it to my other devices Analysis has shown that ad blockers reduce the amount of data you use I am glad Blockr does not sell out and allow certain ads in I took away a star since Media Blockr blocks all pictures and video If they can be separated I would give five stars Blocks everything seamless result
This app completely blanks out many websites that I use and save as favorites Even when I update blocker exceptions or whitelist the page it still loads blank Useless app to me Works Poorly
Great support if you run across a page that isnt displaying properly with Blockr enabled The ability to whitelist sites is excellent because I want to support a number of the sites I visit But gone are the annoying ads that span a page and launch when my finger hits them while scrolling good riddance The web as it should be
Several of the ad blockers do not have any settings to allow what they block and what they let through Fortunately this app allows me to block just what I want The customizable features make this ad blocker tops
I cant even enable ad blocking with this tool It just hangs at a screen that says Updating Blockr 15 minutes and counting Simply does not work

This is the only blocker which seems to get rid of all Google and YouTube ads like its supposed to Avoid Crystal they no longer block all ads Google and Co paid Crystal to allow a bunch of trackers and ads through This is one of the only blockers that gets rid of ALL ads
Does block ads but breaks too many sites in my opinion Even whitelisting the broken site doesnt fix in some cases and the only way to fix is to turn off Blockr as a content filter But generally I can open those sites in Ghostery Annoying and dev should fix but not so annoying that I would request a refund Breaks some sites
So happy to have a content blocker that give you separate control over ads media and privacy aspects and lets you have whitelists for each Easy to use from the getgo and lots of control for those that want it Well worth 1 Great app great options

I dont ever take the time to review apps but with so many ad blockers popping up This one is really great It even has a media blocker built in that I can turn on when Im near my data limit so it doesnt load pictures or videos just the text Which lets me read the core of an article without have nonsense use up my data Honestly this is a must have
Broke Google broke Amazon basically broke every site I went to in one way or another This app filters everything down to a text only web experience makes many sites slow to load Thankfully Adblock Plus released their app today so Im going to write off my 99c and move on Would not recommend this app at all unless you want to be adding all your fav sites to the whitelist Broke everything
I did not realize how often I deal with junk on websites until I installed this app By far the best dollar I have ever spent It works exactly as one would anticipate and the two lone people that gave this one star either dos not set the switches properly very simple install and setup takes less than one minute total or they are advertisers mad they cannot litter sites with crap anymore Thank you Blockr and thank you Apple for this fantastic disruption to the noise unscrupulous advertisers forced upon us What a breath of fresh air

I have found this app very easy to use and I see no Ads on websites I do also like that if I find a site were I want Ads to show because I dont find them to be an issues or I want to support them I can whitelist that website Easy to use

App does block ads but not YouTube ads Unless you whitelist YouTube for every Blockr setting YouTube wont play videos at all Also its pretty annoying that I have to turn Blockr off every time I google search something and click images If this app is on it wont display ANY images But it works with Safari so yea Not worth 399 but worth maybe 199 in my opinion Eh
This is good stuff Ive noticed many reviews complaining that this app doesnt block ads I believe this may be because all blocking is off by default Take a moment to look over the setting and ensure its setup how you want It really works great well worth it Safari is so much faster now

Yeah it works Blocks everything Blocks too much Why would I want to block all pictures I wouldnt Yet to use this to block auto play videos I have to block pictures as well Even if theyd let me disable it on an ad hoc basis my rating would probably go up to 4 stars As it is its not quite ready for prime time Cant block just video
If you think purity is too much and crystal is too lacking functions this ad blocker is a perfect in between Costs same as crystal but does a whole lot more like white lists Perfect in between purity and crystal
Use this in stead of Crystal It cost the same price but DONT use Crystal The developer scammed user into buying the app then agree to get paid by eyeo to let acceptable ads through Manual whitelist is cool but acceptable ads is not This app works perfectly unlike Crystal or 1blocker which sometimes cause websites to not work peoperly or block noneads images I like using ad blocker pricacy blocker and cookie warning blocker from Blockr and combine them with 1blockers tracker blocker feature and they have been great Worth every Penny Worth Every Penny

The whitelist doesnt seem to work at all This feature allows you to specify websites that will be unaffected by ad blocking so that they dont have their ad revenue disrupted This app includes the feature but it doesnt work All add blocked on my whitelist sites after direct comparison to Chrome Whitelist doesnt work
I chose this app from the rest cos it also include cookie warning EU blocking Works great Disable cookie warnings

Firstly this works If you find websites dont work thats because websites are now configuring their content to break if ads are blocked or if they detect a user is using an ad blocker Secondly its just configurable enough to be useful Rather than just a binary switch onoff I can choose whether to block images or ads However Im looking forward to additional features such as blocking custom fonts Works easy to use
Like another reviewer stated best 99 Ive spent Simple and easy to configure with good advanced options if needed whitelists etc Just works Great simple blocker
