I bought this about a week again and have have recorded one 30 minute podcast with it The app is really easy to use and works great I recorded my podcast while driving home and it sounded great I have an iPhone 5 and with the noise canceling most of the road noise wasnt even noticeable The intro music which I pulled in through Dropbox sounded great I was able to add my podcast art to the podcast and upload it to my FTP site I have been looking for a way to easily record a podcast in the car for years and this is it For the one guy that said no mic input I would say to record in stereo instead of mono and that should fix your issue                 A must have for podcasters

I always hesitate to spend money on apps but this may be the best 10 I have ever spent The quality of our recordings is on par with much more expensive setups Major Kudos to BossJock If you are considering a podcast this is a must to get you started                 Outstanding app

What a conceptan app that is amazingly simple to use does exactly what you need it to for podcasting and allows you to be the radio announcerpodcaster youve always dreamed of becoming Not only is it a great app all by itself but its Audiobus compatible which means you can use a program such as TC Helicons Voicejam to add a liitle reverb ambience delay or whatever This is quickly becoming one of my alltime favorite apps alongside Garageband and Spotify                 Bossjack is the bombdiggity

Recently Ive been recording my podcasts with bossjock on my iPhone using the headsetmic that came with the iPhone Sounds better than the many mics and various software I have tried beforePerhaps one day I will have a real studio but for now this works great for me                 Best 10 I Ever Spent

The product is incredible lets say that up front It works exactly as advertised with default settings But the things you can do with it when you dig into the more advanced settings are stunning But Daves support is also better than any other app Ive encountered I had a whine sound due to an external issue and the lengths to which he went to help me trouble shoot when it had nothing to do with Bossjock Hes awesome Great product and service                 Incredible app even better support

I really cannot say enough good things about this app It is very easy to use and to produce a podcast with The Dropbox connectivity is very simple to set up and use so you can have a folder with content you want to have loaded Audiobus support makes it easy to record your own tags stingers and bumpers for your show The FTP export works very smoothly but only lets you post to root directory GREAT APP                 A must have app for Podcasting

I produce one podcast and have my own and both use bossjock Its an awesome way to get great sound for cheap                 So easy for podcasts

I honestly dont get what some of these people are complaining about Ive been a GarageBand user for a couple of years but after I bought an iPad I decided I wanted an app that would make it easy to do onthego podcasting while traveling light BossJock fit the bill perfectly and at 10 its a steal Im not a musician audiophile or engineer just a DIY podcast and web journalist guy and even I was able to figure out how to set up and use BossJock within about ten minutes After that I bought an iRig Pro and directional microphone plugged it in you CAN use your devices microphone by the way and started playing around by loading up carts with drops stingers and music to play in real time laying multiple tracks and ultimately editing and exporting it all Seriously this is ridiculously easy and unless youre looking for a powerhouse highend audio editing software suite then BossJock will suit your needs perfectly Youve got plug and play mic support plus you can record your Skype calls or phone interviews do quick editing and set basic settings for ducking etc export support to multiple services in multiple audio formats and even the files arent very big once youre done and finish them up And remember you dont have to publish this stuff immediately You can always just upload the file to dropbox for download and editing in another program later Buy this if youre looking to travel light and do run and gun podcasting production with your iPad or iPhone out in the field If youre more interested in highend broadcast professional commercial production then give this a pass and stay in your home studio                 On the go podcasting made ridiculously easy

Matt Staggs kind of said it all but this really is the best app for podcasting or several other kinds of quick audio assembly work Its got so many features its crazy I found myself using it for things I never expected to I am an audio engineer and musician and am used to working with some pretty cool gear However there are times when I will just plug my phone in turn it all the way up and use this app to play clips and prerecorded segments Really if you do any kind of audio work with mobile equipment you need to have this app                 Best app of its kind

The app itself is great but I cant figure out how to export to things like YouTube or Facebook also I dont like how getting calls interrupts the session Also when the screen locks it turns off the app making it hard to review what you just recorded Fix this stuff and Ill give a better rating           Not so easy

This is a musthave app for me I use it for all of my Leaders In Worship podcasts as well as other voiceovers Awesome job with this app guys                 Must have app

I have a Samson G Track USB Mic which works great with GarageBand and Cubasis because these apps offer the option of select mic input My mic is a mono mic and BossJock doesnt offer the option to select the mic input so the audio signal comes only at the left side making my podcasts useless The creators of the app should specify which USB mics are compatible with the app I lost my money because I would have to buy a new mic in order to be able to use it properly     No Mic Input Selection

I use this for my podcast After Hours with Chef Puz Works great and definitely worth the 10 I recommend                 I use it and love it

Four and a half really Nearly perfect see below Im an old radio guy I understand carts cartridges and microphones and mixing boards Bossjock Studio has taken this setup and managed to squeeze it into the confines of the iPhone and done it with clarity and simplicity You preload background music intros outros bumpers sound effects interviews and play each as needed with the push of a button Want to duck lower the volume of your background music Easy Just hold the mic button and the music obligingly slides out of the way Its a radio station production studio in 4 of space Astounding Settings are provided for the amount and time of ducking Levels are easily controlled Carts can be set to end or fade out Import from iTunes Dropbox more Audiobus is onboard Is it everything you could ask Almost Id have two requests First Id like to be able to play two carts at once Say Im playing background music ducked and talking into the mic Id like to be able to bring in a stinger or sound effect Perhaps press and hold on the second cart could play that sound without replacing the first UPDATE YOU CAN YOU CAN One doesnt duck the other near as I can tell but you can have one cart running and superimpose another on it Brilliant One down Four and threequarters stars Second request is much more important Monitoring includes the foldback on the voice That is you hear your own microphone on a slight delay This is a huge distraction and a real problem I dont know if its a hardware limitation but either direct monitoring of the mic should be allowed or let the mic be muted in the mix I can always pop one headphone off an ear and hear myself Id love to see this fixed in the next update But overall this is one of the bestdesigned most elegant apps of any kind Ive seen a truly brilliant job of packing a full podcast setup into iPhone or iPad If youre interested in onthefly audio production it can do a lot more this might be the best 10 you spend this year              A nearly perfect gem

We use this app for playing music at hockey It works great as we can clip songs to play for the right moment The colors allow us to code them so we can quickly pick a good clip for a penalty or power play etc The only issue we have is that we are limited to 35 cartridges and we are finding we could use more              Great but needs more cartridges

This App is amazing for the podcaster with the 9 to 5 job This gives you a professional tool to produce shows on the go My show would not be nearly as good without this app                 Great App

Ive been using the BossJock app since February 2013 and have loved it The app is easy to use and gives your podcast a great sound Ive contacted the developers several times for advice on microphones and always gotten a quick reply and well thought out answers each time Today I came across a bug that added 50 minutes to my exported audio file I tweeted the team and got a reply in just minutes They informed me that the bug would be fixed on the upcoming update and suggested I change how I export which was an easy and temporary fix for my problem I highly suggest that folks interested in podcasting buy this app Thanks BossJocks                 Easytouse App Great Support

Awesome app I am currently using it at football games to play samples of songs choruses loops etc The only issue Im having at the moment came was with the last update I can no longer see the bottom of the edit screen when Im making loop edits Please fix this 5 star app                 Great app

My normal rig is so large that I thought it impossible to condense it down to an iPad much less an iPhone After playing with bossjock for a few days I decided to put it to the test and record an episode I was amazed at how well it worked I did a FaceTime call with a musician on my iPhone and recorded it with bossjock on the iPad Needed some minor editing to remove gaps and I did that with twistedwave All in all a fantastic program and not just for when youre in a pinch                 Really great app

This app still is very very voice over friendly and easy to use I love the way you can now disable the compression that ios does by default Its made my recordings a lot better                 I love this app
