The Boston Globe offers our home delivery and digital subscribers more control of customer service with a convenient mobile customer service option. The Boston Globe Customer Service (BGCS) mobile app is a replica of the customer ...
I used the app for the first time today to ask questions about my subscription to the online paper I chatted with a representative at various times over a period of two hours I found the app very easy to use and the representative articulate and courteous This is a convenient and effective way to interact with the Globe I would recommend it to anyone who has a print or electronic subscription Simple and effective
Used it to put in a vacation hold for our home delivery service and it took me just a few seconds to do it Its a vast improvement over and much speedier than going through the endless automated phone options or having to dig through the Boston Globe web site looking for the link to do such a simple thing Thanks for making the app available So much easier and convenient than using the phone or web site
This app is supposed to make it easier to get service but it returns an invalid subscriber error when I try to log in I can log into the website just fine though Globe other newspapers have good apps why not you Appallingly bad app
I just downloaded the app and gave it a test run Its great Thank you Its easy to use
Used this app to extend a promo rate rather than all customer service The app was very easy to use and saved time Very Satisfied
I cant login to the new version It says Invalid login credentials Please verify your information I am a legitimate home delivery subscriber and had no problem with the previous version PLEASE FIX ASAP Cant Login
Terrible app Does nothing Cant login to my account Chat does nothing What is this supposed to do
This is a vast improvement over telephone customer service It takes less than a minute to cancel newspaper or change a subscription It anticipates what you want to ask it If you make a mistake theres immediate chat help I love it Clean efficient and useful
Not sure why the Globe would rush out an app that flat out does nothing You cant even sign on to start the process Its is a useless app in its current form Terrible App
It is only a chat and does not have any of the functionality of the online CS website Totally lame
Cant login No icon image Latest version is broken
Impossible to login Sadly the Globes app as staggeringly bad Still Broken
Tried to do a vacation stop using that function First it offers earliest stop date a day later than calling on phone Secondthe calendar date buttons were difficult to hit accurately Thirdthere is no way to change date if you touch wrong date by accident Fourthno way to cancel the request when its recorded incorrectly On the good side you can quickly text back and forth to customer service faster than reaching someone by phone Thats a great feature This appears to be an app that needs version 20 ASAP A bumpy start
