I have used the travel guides from CityScouter for several other cities Works great for me as an adjunct to one other older type dense print guide Not exhaustive but I forgive some of the oversights for some of the ease of use of the features the app does have I had no trouble updating the events tho of course nothing s as good as a current Arts edition newspaper You can easily make a list of all your want to see sights then the app can map them and even show you nearest subway or bus stops which line etc Info on opening times phone numbers etc has been reliable thus far And the fact that those sorts of tidbits are even included is great Making a list of planned to see sights then toggling them to already seen sights was helpful in cities where we didn t speak the local language and the names of many of the sights were long and distressingly similar to our unschooled ears And the map was great too Oh and the location finding did seem to work accurately I think the price is excellent a fair value for the money I hope they keep content and updates coming I ll give 5 stars once a few more restaurants and walking tours are added                 Full of useful features and convenient linguistically challenged

Just downloaded this prior to a visit to Boston this coming weekend It has promise however it appears that much of the key functionality is not there In particular the events function doesn t list any events This was the main reason I bought the app so that I could easily find out what was going on during my stay in Boston I am also disappointed in the restaurant listing It certainly doesn t list some of the really great restaurants I have previously visited during past stays If there was a way to return the app for a refund I certainly would Definately not worth the 3 99 price tag when compared to freen apps doing a much better job         Disappointing MRV Review
