Braille Pad Pro

Ive had this app installed for a while now and didnt have any problems I just downloaded iOS 8 and now the app keeps closing I cant create a new document or even use the dictionary because it keeps closing        Fix

As a Mac and iOS user I have been waiting for someone to come out with a braille app that I can use to braille documents for my students While not perfect Braille Pad Pro is a good start Using the onscreen braille keyboard 6 keys I can braille short documents and email them to myself as a dxb file Then I can bring the file into my braille translation software on my Windows machine come on Duxbury Systems get your Mac version finished and out and emboss a braille copy for my student This is wonderful You can import a braille file although there are some errors For a person whod like to learn the braille code this is a good tool for practicing your braille Couple of caveats though There are some errors in translation eg used ea sign in a word incorrectly but the developer is very responsive and interested in correcting mistakes There is a Student version of the app for those taking a class to learn the braille code doesnt translate from braille to print It also doesnt support Nemeth codeI tried to bring in a math braille document didnt workthe developer does note this in his description Another tip is make sure that you dont have the Accessibility feature Zoom enabledit causes problems when inputting using the braille onscreen keyboard Im SO happy to have a this app and I really hope the developers keep improving the app I would love to have the ability to braille some longer documents The developer told me that there is a Mac version available as well so Im testing that out as well              Great Beginning on a Braille InputOutput App

I purchased this app to practice my Braille so that I can better help a blind student on my resource room classroom Its great way to practice without having to haul the school brailler home thank you Need help w as well as abacus math if you feel like creating more                 Great app

I like the app so far I wish I could make a few changesfirst I would have a translation bar at the bottom so you can check as you type along Second there needs to be a numbered spacing so you can see where you are typing if its centered or tabulated correctly Can these two items be added and updated for those of us who bought this app           Braille app

Very happy that someone saw the need for Braille on an iPad It works well Getting used to flat Braille keys takes some getting used to but overall very pleased Am confident that feedback from early users will prompt improvements and add new features over time Thanks so much for developing this app           Hurray

Love app it is the ONLY app that represent what a Perkins braillewriter really is and a great help to learn how to type with Perkins I had a few questions and emailed about them and they were great and fast at replying Buy the app you will not regret it                 Love app

Only app out there that simulates a Perkins Brailler Allows me to do my braille homework when I am at work without having to lug around my laptop that has PerkyDuck software I wish that the app mimicked the page sizenumber of cells When I email the document to my email and open it in Perky Duck the spacing is off              Nice

This is a great app the only problem that i see so far is that it is not accessible to those that are visually impaired it does not work with voice over nor does it work with a six key capable keypad           Mr
