Brain Dots - Draw and solve! Brain Training Game

I love the depth behind the simple mechanics there are great intelligent puzzles Thus I cannot rate this app anything less than five stars But I do so with significant reservation as the implementation has at least three significant flaws First on an Iphone screen the imprecision of drawing with ones finger makes some puzzles almost impossible It is no exaggeration to say I have taken over 50 tries on some puzzles after I knew how to solve them simply trying to get the drawing the way I needed it These puzzles would surely work better with a large screen and a stylus but some almost beg for a straight edge a ruler a protractor and a very fine tipped pen Second the attempt to provide directionsrules solely through picturesicons with no text is an abysmal failure Yes the game is simple and I can play it at a rudimentary level through trial and error but some things like how to unlock certain pens remain a mystery I know they say a picture is worth a thousand words they lie Sometimes a word is worth a thousand pictures and this is an example Third I think the app pushes the processing power of my Iphone 4 It often runs very slowly with not infrequent freezes If this is not an issue of processing power it is one of bugs which is even worse                 Wonderful concept but

I love this game its the only game I play on my phone and dont get tired of What I do get tired of is the amount of times this app crashes and automatically closes I even paid to get rid of the ads but that didnt help with the problem I mentioned If it werent for that Id give this a 5 star rating because the game itself is fun           Lovehate

I absolutely love the new update The new features include building new levels and playing your friends levels that they make Brain dots is the best strategy and thinking game on the AppStore                 The new version is amazing

Yay first to rate I am happy with both versions of the game my only problem is video ads but I know theyre needed thanks for a great gameI do not work for translimit              Fun addicting game

Ok so my review of this game would be a solid 5 stars if it wasnt because of the 10 second long adds which arent only incredibly long but also super loud and annoying they used to have the normal adds every 3 or 4 tries but now its every try I was all the way in level 152 but yeah its a wrap deleting the app and never playing it again its just too annoying Games is good rarely crashes the redo button doesnt work really well but its an awesome game if you dont care for your data being consumed by these HD video adds that play every time you lose or win or change levels     10 second long adds

this game is fun then ads pop not 1 but 2 after every try it asks you to post on social media this gets old fast to the point you stop playing and come back a week later in hops that has changed it would be nice to have control of that option        Ads social

Nowhere else but the video game world especially mobile games can businesses get away with being as immoral unethical and crooked as this developer was with this most recent update First off if youre like me and read reviews before you update any app which if you dont you only have yourself to blame for the ramifications of a terrible update you would have known not to update to this most recent version of this game because the developer piled on a bunch of gamekilling advertisements which pop up fullscreen after every level finished and each restart during a level So after knowing this I of course had absolutely no intention of performing this update and ruining what was great about this game before the developer went all crooked But it really didnt matter my smart intentions seeing as how this shady developer left a trap in the previous version to where they could launch a New Version Is Out Go To The App Store popup window in the game That even if you click and come back to the game the window is still there blocking you from playing the game at ALL until you update to this terrible adfilled version which was probably the developers sleazy intention from day one So against Apples Terms of Service agreement that this developer and every developer agrees to when they sell on the App Store They have engineered their game in such an unethical and immoral way forcing you to update to the adfilled version of this game if you want to play it at all Seriously I havent seen a move this devious and crooked by an App Store developer in quite a long time Its almost as if you have to abandon all sense of right and wrong morals and ethics if you want to be a game or app developer today There are very few App Store developers left who have scruples anymore I understand they might want to make more money and if the game was sold for one fair and reasonable price with no bullfeces advertisements or inapp purchases I would have been glad to compensate them for their hard work But it wasnt and they chose to make it free without ads and rely on that pen crap IAP to make money No one forced them to go this route But to literally force an update on customers that radically changed the game in an awfully terrible way with intrusive advertising well its just really sleazy and completely unethical and highly immoral A developer such as this tarnishes the good reputation of all developers who are straight shooters and who were actually raised by their parents to know right from wrong and what the definition of the terms proper business ethics means Developers like this always bemoan and decry how tough it is to make money on mobile video games Well it truly isnt for respectable developers and companies who offer quality products for a single fee and dont solicit massive distrust and justified anger and resentment on the part of the customers you just screwed over big time with your nefarious actions You have only yourself to blame for lack of profits when you run your business as crooked as you are doing right now I couldnt even look myself in the mirror anymore after pulling a conjob like this forced update Sadly these types of unscrupulous business practices are all too common and brought about by the vile world of inapp purchasesmicrotransactions The customers who support these crooks through purchasing microtransactions only help to ensure that we are constantly bombarded by fiends crooks conmen and all sorts of other unethical charlatans doing anything that they can to make a quick buck regardless of the moral infractions and unfettered customer dissatisfaction I would avoid this now ruined game like Bubonic Plaque     Very Shady Unethical Company

I find this game infectious and innovative Love to play it BUT the ads are frequent and way overboard The ads completely ruin the game experience by taking away the continuity Why not place each ad after succeeding a level     Great game horrible ads

Maybe I should thank the makers of the game for incorporating the most annoyingly disruptive ads Ive ever seen in a quality game it makes it a lot easier to put the game down and walk away I get that they have to make a profit somehow but they have seriously compromised the quality of their product with this recent addition        The ads are too disruptive

This game is great It is perfect for passing time but the crashes are endless for me I always crash It is super annoying and I cant stand Please fix Overall however this is a fantastic game           Awesome

when I fail a level it freezes when I try to retry the level also everytime I fail a level and it takes me out to that screen its super annoying this game has a great concept but its just a horribly developed app     horrible freeze glitch

A lot of people will say the ads to many ads to those people I say just turn of ur wifi and u get ZERO ads I could play this game for hours and still have fun and I have great time passer and a nice challenge I dont recommend this game for people that rage a lot or hate puzzles Otherwise I give this game a 45 its a fun way to pass the time and gives me something to do when Im bored              Great game

Finished all 516 levels as of this review I was stuck on 4 or 5 but went back after finishing all the rest and worked them out Use Everyplay and search on the level number if you really really get stuck or search Youtube or twitter and you will likely see the simplest way to solve it theres usually a 10 second or less solution that you can try to achieve yet will need lots of attempts or a three minute method that may be a bit more assured at the end Tip you need to switch penspencils to get through certain levels The pens generally create a small ball bearing when just tapped down on the screen These are critical in later levels And need to be used as projectiles in catapult style devices Pens you can acquire may also produce beach balls fruits acorns etc which can also be helpful when used appropriately The fun pens can be acquired by joining the event competitions There are some bugs and as with any app 1 ads do interrupt but you can always pay for the non ad version and 2 it does crash at random times but this only happened a handful of times for me Both these issues were not significant enough to affect my 5 star rating I also had a issue with sharing anything on Twitter or Facebook They usually add 24 levels every few weeks now just waiting for the next set                 Great challenging game worth a download

For example at the moment the game says go to store to update a must if you come to store there is no update only open that send you back to the game that says go to store etc etc etc              Amazing game but Buggs a lot

There is a lots of bugs and the main one is when u press the restart button on the top right of the screen the game just stuck and crushes And it is not because of my phone I have iphone 6           Lots of bugs

I previously gave this game 1 star due to all the ridiculous amount of ads I paid for the ads to be removed more money that usual to remove ads and although it does eliminate the a majority of them the posting on Facebook Twitter and other media still interrupts the flow of the game Give it a break guys People play the game for the challenge not to be interrupted by a social media barrage        Still annoying

I love is game but I can only give it a 3 because it has some really annoying parts When they have a new version available you dont have a choice if you WANT to update you HAVE to update even if you dont have time When an idea doesnt work it can be really hard to just reset sometimes you have to go through all the ending of the level resetting if the beginning and then y out can reset Lets us be able to reset right away They have all these stupid pencils you can use but they are no good You still have to use your finger and sometimes your finger is too big for the small precise moves you want to make This can be extremely annoying Other than that I love the challenge it give you           Brain Dots

I like something to puzzle over without a time limit and Brain Dots meets that criteria However I would wish for more hints on a few levels where nothing I do works The only issue I presently have is being unable to play because it offers me the upgrade which I already have and I cant get rid of the offer to play the game When that glitch is fixed I look forward to figuring out more levels I may even pay the 399 to go adfree              Good for the brain

I was loving this app despite the annoying but still tolerable pop up ads but after installing the latest update the ads suddenly pop up and scream and scare the pants off you while coming at a constant pace Whats up with that The screen locks up more frequently than before the update I suppose I could turn off the sound and wifi and data but I think Ill just call it quits Thanks for a great game while it was quiet Ads are fine and a couple of bucks to rid them is OK but giving up 399 to get rid of the screams makes me want to scream Too bad I would have given this game 4 or 5 stars without the annoyances        Nervous wreck

I really wanted this app But I never got to use it It never opened Just crashed every time I tried to open it     App will not open Just crashes

This game was really good at first but once you get to above level 280 its almost impossible     Levels too hard

The game is pretty entertaining I found this one method though that makes a lot of them really easy but some are a bit challenging The real issue Since Ive gotten the game theres been numerous times when it freezes and I have to exit the app It happens when Im overly excited to retry the game and tap the retry button repeatedly before the app processes to game over after a ball rolls off the screen At that point it freezes and I cant do anything on screen A couple times I just exited the app and restarted it but the last time it completely froze my phone I couldnt do anything and my phone wouldnt even turn off when I held the button for a long time Then my screen did some weird white blue line glitch thing that looked really bad for my phone and turned off I was really worried this app had fried my phone Fortunately it turned back on a couple minutes later but Im afraid to use the app until another update comes along that hopefully fixes this        Really bad freezing glitch Needs to be fixed

FIX THESE ISSUES 1 Sometimes when I open the game it crashes 2 Sometimes while in playing the game it crashes 3 When the two balls are about to touch the game freezes for a bit then they touch 4 The game sometimes freezes and I have to restart it 5 The game lags 70 of the time PLEASE FIX THIS              Good game real buggy
