This podcast provides informative interviews from researchers clinicians philosophers and other experts who explore the myriad aspects of the brain and mind The host presents her own insightful comments to flesh out or expand ideas addressed within each program My issue with the interface occurs when I attempt to rewind or zoom in on a particular timestamp min sec of the circular progress bar A wider touch zone would allow my fat fingers to change the timeline position without unintentionally toggling the pause play button two to four times instead Still the interface is such a minor complaint when compared to the value of the programmed material I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I do                 5 star Content 4 star Interface J Wave

I ve been listening to the Brain Science Podcast since 2008 I was a student of neuropsychology in the 80 s but got involved in clinical practice and the years passed quickly Finding this podcast has kept me informed about the unfolding and always exciting field of neuroscience I am grateful to Dr Campbell for being willing to commit herself to this work Each episode is extremely informative the issues the facts etc are always more important that the personalities involved but Dr Campbell does have a knack for bringing out the best in her interviewees What is perhaps most valuable about each episode is that I am not required to get more information in order to feel that I ve really learned something important Her review of books her interviews etc really nail the most critical information for each source However I am often inspired to do some investigating on my own after listening                     Never Disappointing Still listening 7 years later Skeptical Deb

The Brain Science Podcast is a very high quality science podcast and having it s own iPhone app really helps plus it s a good way to support Dr Campbell for her great work The software version update for the app did improve things However one key element is missing the ability to bookmark With each episode about an hour long interruptions are inevitable Currently the only option is where the app asks to resume where the software closed However this does not work all the time and several times will just go back to the beginning Having an option for bookmarks is dearly needed with the option to have multiple bookmarks across different episodes The implementation of podcast bookmarks is done very well for e g in the iPhone app Stitcher Radio The content for the Brain Science podcast is excellent and highly recommended using this app as a portal to get to their webpage which has a wealth of information including book references                 Excellent podcast App needs bookmark function PocketPC convert
