does not work with Apple router and iPad a total waste of money     Useless

This app on iOS 7 Error states cant find compatible printer I have the QL720NW Label Printer The printer works from computers Tech support is no help     Doesnt Work on iPhone 5s

I knew it It was a hassle to figure out how to get this to work and the corresponding Mac software never has on my Mac I had finally gotten it to work on my iPhone version Then I went ahead and updated it when prompted by the App Store Now I only get the message that it is not communicating with the printer again I had a feeling it would happen It just has the poor design and functionality of some horrible mutant from the minds of people who live in the PC world Its a time sucking piece of junkware     Junk

It works well with my QL720NW printer I am using the iPhone 5s I just printed some simple labels and nametags                 Perfect

Make a function where you could actually take a picture of a part number and it transpose into a barcode and I would use this all the time           Not bad some tweeks needed

After Initial setup this app worked ok for a few labels Now it regularly shows the printer offline Followed troubleshooting steps on Brother site still have same issue        Works only some of the time

Works great from my iphone but does not work from my iPad The icon for print is grayed out and it is set for the correct media Hopefully a fix is pending Also a lag in printing from my PC Using wireless connection        Brother iPrint Label App

Need to bring all the features that you have on your desktop app to the mobile app barcode printing would be great if it was on the mobile app I hope you take this into consideration so I can rate you Higher in the future     Brother app

I had the same problem that many reviews here report the app said a compatible printer could not be found and I could not print to my QL710w from this app even though I could print using AirPrint with other apps Brothers tech support people were useless too just like the other reviewers said I managed to solve the problem on my own though by performing a factory reset using the BRAdminLight program and then using the setup wizard to add the printer to my wireless network again After that it worked Maybe this wont work for everyone but it did for me After this all the app is just OK Like others said having a vertical print option would be really good The app is also a bit slow and unresponsive to use especially when pressing done after editing text And this is on an iPhone 5s           How to make it work maybe

The one thing you would think this could do very well is to print labels from your address book Wrong If any of your contacts have multiple addresses it gives you no opportunity to choose which one It will print the first only The user interface is a little bizarre and doesnt follow typical Apple standards The whole thing is unnecessarily complex This app should excel at making it easy to print a label to one of your contacts It does a bad job of that     Very difficult to print labels for contacts in your address book

Dont listen to the bad reviews by people who obviously dont know how to use even the most basic of technology Ive been printing from both my iPad and iPhone flawlessly so stoked to not have my printer hooked up to a computer                 Works Great

For people who can see their printer in the app but are unable to print to it Make sure you have the correct app for your printer This app is for the LABEL printer The app for regular printers is the other Brother app iPrint Print Scan I LOVE the idea and functionality app however it is frustrating that you arent able to delete unused text boxes in the Preformatted labels so you can make the text in the box you are using larger Other than the need to increase the editing options I think this is a fantastic app that will be SUPER convenient in the office Now everyone in the office can quickly make their own labels when ever they need them              Great App for printing LABELSediting options soso

Love the app when it works from my iPad It usually takes a restart for it to recognize the printer AND now the backdelete button causes a glitch where the text scrolls down out of view and you have to backspacedelete several times before it scrolls back up           YES and NO

Doesnt real have option to create customized labels or templates I was looking to be able to create a custom labeltemplate for a name badge Would have liked to have options to select positioning sizing for different elements text fields graphicspics linesetc and the ability to reverseinvert colors for a field        Needs Feature for Custom Templates

In the last revision 301 they screw we up the Mike Barkley asset management template label The upper left area text no longer prints in reverse black on white and does not display that way either even though the text exists cant see to unless editing as it is white other wise Cant find a way to tell brother through the website about the error so maybe they read there reviews Regretting updating As I use that label template Please fix B              Brother screwed up

In the market for wireless label maker with mobile app Looking at brother vs epson app the brother app is not updated to use the latest resolution of iPhone 6 so it looks very dated Epson app is modern and takes advantage of the latest iPhone 6 resolution Wanted to buy brother but based on the app Ill buy epson           Brother vs Epson

I was hoping to use this app in my hobby but I need to be able to import images and PTouch label files This app has no provision for importing anything except images and for those you have to first ad them to the photo library Ideally this app should be able to share label files with its PCMac equivalent so one could design a label on the desktop and use the mobile app to manipulate it and print copies as needed        No way to import label files

You cant change the font or rearrange or adddelete fields It doesnt take advantage of everything an iPad has to offer I can make do with what it can do but I admit I am disappointed I hope they will fix this because the reason I bought this printer is so I wouldnt have to be tied to my computer        Convenient to use but

I bought the P750w label printer because I wanted to print labels from my iphone 6 as well as my pc I can do neither The unit is simply not visible via my network Shoud have bought a cheap unit with keypad The instructions spend more time on safety precautions and general precautions than on operation of the wireless unit I wont use the unit in the bathroom I wont spill beverages in it I promise not to hit the unit I promise not to put my finger inside the unit when closing the door Etc etc Dont waste your unless they fix the software     First time driven to review an app

It appears that if using Apple or Verizon Fios Routers then this app will not work and the printer wont appear They wont appear when you run the Brother iPrintLabel app for iPhone and iPad The error will appear when you launch the app saying no printers found Brother must be using a nonstandard port that might be blocked but nothing in the directions offers a solution Tech support recommends replacing the router which is ridiculous answer for Fios customers HP printers work just fine so maybe Brother needs to own the problem     Printer works fine with Macs but not with Apple wireless routers

My Brother QL710W printer appears in the list greyedout as Unspecified and the app wont print to it     Doesnt recognize printer

Wow I was hoping to be able to use this app so I wouldnt have to take my computer to events Not so This app has huge usability gaps Cant select a picture to use then add text Cant select one of their templates then move things around Cant cant the alignment of text from templates Cant really design something from scratch either If you try designing from scratch you can align the text how you want but not align updown but you cant add a picture or line or boarder or anything Really crappy app Common Brother you can do better than this     Terrible App

Normally products from Brother are very good and in particular their software support for their products are excellent Not here though Big problem is you cant change font size even though it looks like you can So the print output is too small to be useful     Unexpectedly poor

Works flawlessly with my iphone I like the picture access an added bonus I was not anticipating Made a funny face sticker for my daughter who is now wearing it around proudly                 Excellent

Easy to install but it couldnt find my compatible QL710w even though it was 1foot from the router My desktop comp had no trouble finding the link so I just uninstalled it Nothing to lose           Give it try

Update v20 supports portrait print However the minimum length is 1 inch on continuous roll Its too much for 1 line labels Please add support for shorter label to save more paper I have no problem to use the PC software for shorter label I bought a 710w coming with the label that is wide in 24 inch It is tooooo wide to use anywhere because the app prints horizontal text only Please add vertical text on iPhone and iPad app please           I like portrait print

Despite everyones concerns this is a great way to print labels quickly Using my QL710W was a snap after setting up the wifi from the USB cord and configuration app App could use more features but printing portrait on 24 and setting the length to 1 is my favorite setting              Easy to Use

please use iCloud to savemanage labels If a user takes the time to create 10 different labels on one iPadiPhone device they shouldnt have to recreate them on another Also default font size of 24 is ridiculous and goofy At the very least keep track of last user selected font font size instead of resetting font to 24 each time You also do this on the Windows version which is pretty annoying as well The print button seems to be disabled on my iPad 1 so basically its unusable on my iPad 1 missing option to add a new label Creatingediting a label is a bit frustrating and awkward on my iPhone 4s Very poorly designed from an aesthetic and usability point of view Has the clunkyness of the average Windows program        Use iCloud to save labels clumsyawkward to use

This is a very easy app to use However unless you feel like bing tied to a limited number and style of labels plan on using your desktop to create labels The app needs to allow you to create your own templates using YOUR logo or allow you to import that template from the desktop app I would rate 5 starts if it had this abbility This is a great start to be able to turn on and print just needs more options        Needs more options

I downloaded this app and it cant locate the label printer I pressed the refresh button multiple times to no avail Waste     Doesnt work

This used to be solid for us here at home we only use our iOS devices to print so the app is essential However on iOS 7 Im using iPhone 5 there is a really terrible glitch that causes your label to go completely white and makes it impossible to type a label For some reason the app still works on iOS6 on my wifes iPhone 4S Really hope they push an update to fix this        Use to be good now not so much

i think this app is nicely laid out and if I could keep it from crashing it would be wonderful However whenever I try to edit or go back to previous screen it freezes or crashes brother please update this app     Would be great but

This is great paired with the 710w finally lets us print labels directly from iOS devices Please add PDF support to import from 3rd party apps                 What Ive been waiting for

After reading the other reviews I can see that I am not the only one experiencing this same problem I just purchased the Brother QL710W label printer based on its ability to interface with my iPad and iPhone via WiFi After installing the QL710W drivers and software on my PC I was successful in setting it up to print via WiFi from my PC Getting it to print from my iPad or iPhone is another story The iPrintLabel App can not find the printer on the network However if I go to the Safari Browser on any of my mobil devices and enter the IP address of the printer it will find the printer and show me all of the printer properties I contacted the Brother support team A Level 5 technician told me that the iPrintLabel App was most likely not compatible with my new FiOS router with current firmware and that I should get another router I have no problem printing wirelessly to my HP printer from my mobil devices All I can say is Oh Brother I will have to Label this app USELESS until you can fix it     The Brother iPrintLabel App cant find the printer

This app is horrible I bought a QL720NW which works fine using my Mac but this iPrintLabel app just simply does not work Ive already updated the printer firmware readded to my wireless network but all I get is A compatible printer cannot be found     Doesnt work

The app never wants to work Times out all the time and drops my printer Would be a great app but needs a lot of improvement     Would be a great app

Just got a ql710w Working great on my laptop Iphone claims this it cant be found Using iphone 5s with 703     Doesnt work

Upgraded from a Brother P touch 2610 so that I could use iPad and iPhone to print labels First guess it was my fault but assumed I could use all of my old tapes many of which were still unopened from the old unit in the newer unit but did not realize that Tz tapes would not fit in a Tze printer Live and learn Next I have found the iOS software very glitchy The Justification button gets greyed out often and does not function without exiting program closing down the software and then starting it again Often even when the justification button is working when I click the center justification button the one I use the most to print labels the text disappears off the screen so you cant see what the label will look like and have to print it blindly and hope it looks good Also when I choose to change the cut options after you have typed a label the justification goes back to left justify and greyed out so you have to close program open program and type the entire label over Would also be nice if there was a clear button to clear all text so that when you open the program and want to start a new label you dont have to select all and type over Would be nice if you could sync iPad and iPhone so that the same saved labels could be printed from both Several emails to tech support later got me several responses each of which concluded essentially that they were not intent on fixing the iOS software and were happy with it being buggy and if I wanted software that worked properly I should use the full software on my PC        Buggy software poor tech support

The app update prints portrait on wide 24 continuous rolled paper I no longer need to use my computer to print GREAT work To print on this paper in portrait you will need to go to settings and make three changes One of the settings is how long you want your label to be You can make it longer than 1 To set portrait printing go into your print settings and set Auto Length off and Portrait on                 great update

This is a great printer App is pretty good extremely useful for quick wireless printing from device NEED TO FIX no way to delete labels after you save them Overloads device memory as it fills up There needs to be a way to delete labels that are no longer needed Tried calling tech support and only resolution to this issue it complete deinstallreinstall which makes you lose ALL saved labels           Ok Need to fix item

This app is no longer working The app sees my brother QL710w printer but it errors Communication error Cannot communicate with the device It still works with my mac over wi fi but not via my iPhone 5s or my iPad mini Please restore this app back to greatness As a Reloader I carefully label everything Bullet containers Die holders press plates spare parts brass the powder used for a particular load of rounds and primers This app alone with my new brother QL710w label maker is great The app is simple and easy to get into I create labels using my iPad quickly and without having to master some ridiculously complicated user interface Now if only brother could get the Mac app working this well under Mavericks                 This version is no longer working 212

This app works great on one iPad but will not connect on my other iPad They all have the same settings Do not buy until the app is updated     Need updated app

Cant do anything before running out of memory Kudos for actually reporting out of memory instead of just crashing like every other app     No joy on iPad 1

I was quite excited when I found out about this app Seemed like a very good idea Well it is poorly implemented First of all the app doesnt auto populate or save address info for labels So each time I open the app and want to print an address label I need to enter MY OWN info Really Why Strangely there is a button that saves the info for a label Or at least thats what it says it does Doesnt seem to work though Also when editing labels the screens view seems to float to the right hand side of the label while you are editing it As a result you literally CANT SEE WHAT YOU ARE TYPING unless you manually scroll around the screen Makes no sense whatsoever If they fix these two glaring problems I think the app would be much more usable But as is it takes much more effort than necessary to fill out a label via the app     Poorly Written App
