My daughter used this app from age 3 to Kindergarten and she learned so much on it We are now using it for our son who just turned 3 and we re so excited to see the new additions and updates Great app for learning and fun                     Love this app and all the other Bugsy Apps 86Jay

My little ones love Bugsy Pre k I m a speech pathologist in the schools and work with students with autism and other developmental delays and it keeps their attention and works on their receptive language skills all while having fun                     Love aessig

My 16 month old loves this app and will play it for 20 minutes at a time She loves getting the right answer and it reinforces what I teach her at her little desk It is never too early to learn the alphabet colors shapes et cetera We are a homeschooling family with seven children most of whom could read by themselves by age three so I absolutely love apps like this The reason for only three stars Upon starting the app an ad for Peabody Labs pops up and she has to X out of it I would before than happy to pay several dollars for this app if they would get rid of that If not for that it would definitely deserve five stars             My toddler loves this HalfDozenPlusOne

The basis for the app is good but it doesn t work for me because you cannot choose which lessons you want to do The game will randomly start with letters then move to shapes or whatever order the game decides to go in             Hoping to use in OT sessions but Bmc11

After years of working living with pre K children I m choosy about educational toys This is the BEST APP I have found so far The account settings are locked from wandering fingers the lessons are just the right length and varied corrections are explained No that is blue Find rewards are interactive Requests are written above the lesson also spoken Find the letter B I ll be watching for the phonics problem as we approach that aspect A quality app                 QUALITY SHOWS MemaDeb

I work in education and I want to point out that some consonant sounds are being modeled incorrectly on the phonics activities Additional sounds are being added which may cause confusion down the line as the child learns to sound out and blend the sounds into words For example instead of holding the tongue behind the top teeth when saying the l sound l l l l like that the short u sound as in the word up is added so it comes out like luh So the child is actually hearing two individual sounds Other sounds such as m and s as well as others are being modeled the same way By inserting sounds that don t belong a child will become very confused when blending sounds into words later on I won t be using the phonics activity on this app for this reason and wanted to make this apparent to others who are using it             Sounds modeled incorrectly Csv1970

Delightful app with challenging games for my three year old She is quite captivated with it and can focus for long periods of time I see her learning quite a bit I like that it rewards for the right answer and encourages to try again when she gets the wrong answer Funny note one of the toys she earns is um a cassette deck boom box She asked me what that was and I don t even own one any ore to show her Request from my 3 year old please add more toys to win and in general add more pink to the game sigh girls                     Delightful educational Y2kcvg

My son who is 1 1 2 loves Bugsy Pre K I like how it incorporates colors numbers letters phonics and shapes Changing every time they go into it there for they do not get bored Always gives positive reinforcement explaining why the choice they made was incorrect and they are consistently praised for their good work In the end they get to pick a toy showing them that working hard reaps benefits and lets be honest a toy is fun to work for The toys are interactive and they disappear after a bit It also makes the little ones laugh with the silliness of the hamster dancing They are learning and they do not even realize My son will intentionally pick all the wrong choices so he can watch Bugsy shake his head no and say Try again But with every selection Bugsy explains what they choose so he is still learning I would love it if you could come up with a basic math program based on the same idea I think my son would learn his addition with something like this Basic repetition with fun learning it works                     Great educational app for toddlers mixes up learning so its not boring C Lads 2

I bought this app when the first version was released I liked it then but it s evolved a lot Bugsy uses entire sentences more frequently now which is great My almost 3 year old loves it                     We Love it zachswife

Cute hamster on the home screen keeps asking Let s go get a toy In other words the only reason to do the activity in this app is to earn stuff Very materialistic I prefer to see children driven by intrinsic motivations and natural love of learning particularly at this young age Also the only activity in the game is to answer drill and kill multiple choice quiz questions Multiple choice quizzes at Pre K Yikes One star added because the progress monitoring dashboard for parents is nice It s also nice that you can at least play with the toys you earn         Depressing edugameplayer

I loved the first version of Bugsby and I m just loving what they did with the second Kudos My 5 year old daughter is enamored for hours with this app and I m so happy she s spending her time on something educational I highly recommend you buy this app for your child its completely worth it                     Great App JESS174383

This app is okay My 3 year old loved the hamster and said hi to him every time he said it The games are okay though very very similar to the mini games in other children s apps When the child gets the correct answer it moves on too quickly so they really can t see how why it was correct The concept of caring for a hamster in his house is great but my 3 year old didn t quite understand that she was feeding him through the mini games She really wanted him to be able to do things within the house and it distracted her from the mini games When I asked what she thought about it she said It s okay but I want him to lay on the bed and open the drawer It kept her attention for about 10 minutes then she asked to play another favorite learning game             It s okay Teacher-n-nanny
