Build Calculator for StarCraft 2

Bummer Zerg supply count is broken There doesnt appear to be product support so I have to report it here Please fix           Zerg Supply Count Broken

Please fix the app sounds great but this revision does NOT work can not even all the preloaded builts cannot create new builts either Way no can name the built thats about how far you can go If this doesnt get fix I am trying to get a refund Good idea bad codding     Not working

This app is a great idea and one of the best Ive seen on the app store however it does need some work First of all a nicer UI would be great Secondly a database of some sort to allow users to exchange and rate builds would make this app far better than all the other ones And lastly for the Terran buildings the ability to move addons between buildings would help out a lot in creating a build That would make this make worth 5 stars an even upping the price on it           Great idea but

The interface is nice and clean although the help button refers to some UI that isnt implemented No upgrades a big part of early builds Doesnt factor in the queens spawn larva all larva are assumed to appear ever 9 seconds or so Also sometimes drone builds are spaced out even when there is time to build two at once The supply numbers are confusing to me They are a bit complicated for Zerg Id love to see an update           Good start mostly worthless for Zerg

This is really cool Definitely changes the way I think about my builds One suggestion would be to move away from the one long list and go to a collapsable tree structure where buildings act as folders That way its more obvious that Im training two units concurrently              Nice

Bad app does not do alot     Dont get

I hate how the iPad version is just an oversize iPhone one The loading image is blurred and you dont take advantage of the iPad screen size at all you could easily make this a split screen app so instead of having to hit the add button over and over and over again all out have to do is turn the Ipad in its side and and just tap the unit you want to use next it would speed up making a build order ALOT and make the app easier to use I would also love to be able to post the build rider and not just email them and have it so people can vote on them and just make it more of a community app because isnt online all this games about Well I think the app should be too connect the sc2 players in this app and you would get more buys on it Well thats all I have to say Nice app though           Its a start

This really is a big step in the right direction for build order calculators but without at the very least chrono boost mules and larva from queens this calculator is just the early stages of a good project released before it was finished I was disappointed I actually spent 3 on this at this time Lets get some updates I know its difficult and this app could start to be a big time seller due to its extreme usefulness        An expensive novelty with potential

After using this for a while its hard to imagine an app like this working any other way Its a very welldesigned iOS app with a tactile UI that does a great job of simplifying the complex mechanics the calculator models Could it do more Sure But the core functionality is useful and wellexecuted allowing me to goof around with Starcraft stuff when Im away from my gaming rig and then try it out when I get home What would I like to see The timing model is extremely optimistic about the timings which Id like to see tightened and the resource calculator optimizes builds sometimes such that a subsequent unit starts building before the preceding Its not a bug exactly but it is confusing Also Id like to see economic abilities added in as they have a huge effect on upgrade availability timing That said if youre a serious enough Starcraft player to be looking for an app like this its worth the money The makers are very responsive and Im sure the missing features will come with time What this program does is hard and I havent seen anything like it that works this well                 May be the only thing like it out there

Works stable for me Would be great to have a button to start the build and get notifications saying build this now Probably in next version I like the unit lists expanding only when you have the necessary dependencies in the list                 Works great for me

I was debating buying this for a really long time Great concept and almost good but just a few problems No ability to use chrono boost Choosing to scout always ends with your probe dying I dont lose my scout often Food count can be off sometimes but not by a lot It is a good app but not necessarily worth 3 bucks           So close

It says the app isnt compatible with my phone I just got the newest update does this not work with the latest update If not did I just waste my money     Not compatible

The idea is good but this execution is just not there yet First off as others have said no queen inject chrono boost or mules are a huge issue Second the app tells you how much minerals and gas you have at the END of production which is counter productive to making your timings mesh perfectly Also gives you your supply at the en of production which isnt awful buy for Zerg when you are doing a ton and losing and making drones constantly it becomes difficult to follow Overall wouldnt recommend this just yet with an update may be worth it but just isnt yet        Not really close yet

Currently the most useful build calculator out there Will get 55 once the macro abilities of all races are added and a vocal reminder play this build order feature is put in place Given this developers responsiveness both shouldnt take long              Great work so far

Very nice app but it seems to be missing support for Orbital Command and Planetary Fortress upgrades for the Terran Command Center If they are there I cant figure out how to include them because there is no support for this app           Orbital Command Support

I wanted an iPhone app to actually calculate and pick the best build order out of a desired game state amount of units in less than certain amount of time but this only addsubtracts time on a build order you have to actually create Not bad for saving your fav build orders tho     Not what I was expecting

Updated four star for sure See recommendation for five stars Original review Its great for timing Moving build orders around to see what is the fastest order is amazing Im enjoying it greatly But its not 100 yet What I needs to be fully functional 4 Star Upgrades Where are the Protoss upgrades Ive got none even after building a Cyber Core Abilities Chrono Boost isnt listed Kind of a big deal Unit Management How many Probes do I have on gas at what time What if I scout What it needs to be mindblowing amazing 5 Star Timer that you can start at the beginning of the game so you can be reminded when you should be doing what The build order list is chill but timing would be awesome Database to see others Build Orders and rate them Then download them and put them into your own build library Overall I like it Hope to see an update soon              Okay heres the deal

Pretty cool way to develop and simulate SC builds I like the way it predicts how much ore and gas you will have considering the number of probes built Suggestions moving forward a way to see the count for each building and unit type at a certain time point Also it appears that it does not model the fact that you can build more than one probe at a time when you have more than one nexus              Helpful

This app is completely useless in its current state There are critical elements missing that are required to make it functional hopefully they will fix this up until then its a 299 ripoff     Do Not Buy

Its incomplete Missing upgrades for terrans atleast Also cant move starport onto barracksfactory tech as someone mentioned earlier Will raise rating when app is updated           Love it but

You are much better off using YABOT to refine build orders This program has several bugs that affect its accuracy of build times as well        Not very useful

This only lets you make a build list It does not sim a game at all You can not even share builds Wast of money     100 lie

Lacking upgrades the section is there but nothing available to select Other then that it is a great app           Needs to be updated

Love the app but now that heart of the Swarm is on the way it would be amazing if support would come out soon           HoTS

Macros are missing like queen spit which is pretty important for zerg timing Supply is totally borked at least visually making you have to manually count in your head Minerals remaining also has issues at least visually If the bugs were fixed this would be a really cool little app for what it does If it had a bigger library of opening strategies and was bug free it would get a 5 star vote from me        Can be useful but lacks polish

Zergs need inject larva for a special action This is CRUCIAL for good Zerg play Great start to an app              Helpful but

Great app but it needs the ability to assign workers and upgrades as well as being able to addon swap for terrans           Needs upgrades

EDIT With the newest update it has SO much more possibility of being a very strong and useful tool for Starcraft calculation The developer added a lot in the last update However its still not perfect if you want to be nitpicky For instance you dont have the ability to warp your gateways into warpgates yet However I have no doubt that the developer will address this because communication between the developer and the consumer have been great so far EDIT A few minor fixes needed like starting supply for Zerg and it needs an option for something like the extractor trick It really has a lot of potential for being an awesome tool With what it is Id give it three stars but I emailed the coder today and he already emailed me back so I feel like our comments are being heard Thats why I gave it four stars keep up the good work              Good but still needs a little work

The new update that just came out has added a lot of the features that I had been wanting The developer has been very responsive and says he is working on even more new features I highly recommend itGreat App                 Great update

Of all the apps for SC2 out there this one is by far the best and most useful Yeah there are a couple of holes nothings perfect but I dont regret buying it at all More than worth the price And I use it a lot Developer seems to be on it to I emailed him about an issue early on and he fixed it right away So if you have a problem dont just complain about it here Say something to someone who can do something about it              Definitely a great SC2 app

Updating my review with the new version New features have been added like scouting with workers and research options like warpgate However this version still lacks critical aspects to make this a truly useable build order compiler The lack of a Chronoboost or MULE call down feature really impacts every Protoss and Terran build and will have significant impacts on the timing and resources that one might have at any given point in the build The new scout with worker option reduces your supply count by one automatically and in build orders you should never count this as negative supply Some people might add in a worker to their build orders to compensate for the loss and will result in drastic changes The app lets you know what supply you will be at and how much money you will have AFTER the item in finished building which is confusing It should instead show you how much money you have at any given step and the current supply when the item begins building The app also lacks an ability to add side notes to your build orders this feature would be awesome It would also be nice if when you build multiple units of the same time in a row ie 3 probes it would not list them individually and combine them into one entry 3x Probes As long as the developer keeps improving the app it will get to a good state However in its current state I cannot recommend its purchase for anyone serious about constructing build orders at this time Will update review when dev updates app           Dont buy in current state
