Purchased this app to support my study of Bulgarian because of the audio pronunciation of words App does not provide pronunciation of Bulgarian words and that feature isn t available for an additional fee Pronunciation of English words is available for an additional fee     Law Professor Upset in English

Update Nov 2011 Although translations are still alphabetically ordered I am increasing the rating from 1 to 3 stars because they added synonyms exemplary sentences 2 in app purchase Moreover from all E B dictionaries this is the only one that is continuously supported and updated I am using this dict now more Hopefully they will eventually correct the order of the translations Nov 2010 I am a Bulgarian living in USA and needed a good E B dictionary So I ordered this BitKnights E B of Kernerman and E B of PlanetDrives First of all they are all offline dict i e don t need Internet connection to be used BitKnights app has the best interface word linking history favorites etc However the translations are ordered alphabetically rather than by most used which makes the dict unuseful Thus I am giving it one star only although deserves more mainly because to push the seller to update it When they do this the app will deserve 4 5 stars As for the other 2 dictionaries this of Kernerman has a smaller database for me is ok however every translation is putted in an example sentence which makes it very useful PlanetDrives database is a direct copy of SADictionary very popular on line and windows dictionary with large database however there is no transcription history etc very simple interface In summary although I liked BitKnights app very much I ended up using mainly Kernerman and PlanetDrives dictionaries BitKnights please update your dictionary to have the translations ordered by most used             Please order the translations by most used BGscientist

Queries return a list of possible translations sorted alphabetically but not by use So for certain words the translated word you re looking for is seven or eight words down sandwiched among a bunch of archaic translations 2 stars because the app is still usable if you hand a Bulgarian your phone so they can read through and pick out the word you re trying to communicate Also for typing Bulgarian you have to use one of the Apple provided Cyrillic keyboards An in app Bulgarian phonetic keyboard would be nice         Inaccurate Burgovic

Its ok there are many words which can t be found in the others E B dicts but it shows the results not by most used but in alphabetical way Ps just checked the other languages via screenshots and looks they are the same way inbelievable     Uhh ZippoSnooked

Bought this app for my sister for her English class as she preferred to have a Bulgarian English dictionary instead of a Turkish English one Test running I requested a Bulgarian translation for turk turkish and to my astonishment it returned as the top Bulgarian translation Anybody who speaks Bulgarian knows that this is an extremely derogative and offensive term usually used by racist and xenophobes and for that to be returned as the top choice to me suggests that this was deliberately done to cause offense If some innocent users of this application were to use this suggested bulgarian translation to refer to turks in Bulgaria they would find themselves in a very uncomfortable situation this is akin to referring to African Americans using the n word in the United States     inaccurate and offensive bgturk
