I now see that the 1024 conversion factor is built in using the i suffix instead of the a suffix
Thanks
Great job Great App Perfect in the digital video realm
1GB 1024MB how can I trust this app when it gives you wrong information Waste of 99 Still no fix
I would like to see using the bitwise operations with other bases like 10 and 256 basestored ASCII Simple works as advertised
This is a really well done application for base and scale conversion The power of two and ASCII reference charts are great too Could we also get some basic unicode Well done
And maybe the review below was for an older version or something because Bytes definitely supports Base2 Excellent
This app is meant for people who actually know the difference between a gigabyte and a gibibyte The bi stands for binary In fact 1GB really does equal 1000 MB What the average person believes to be a Gigabyte in todays society is really a Gibibyte That being said this app is very useful for those who know how to use it correctly and is a real timesaver not to mention students could probably use it to help them understand networking values 4stars I think it could have more features but for 1 its very useful Stupid reviewers
This app still works on my iPad 3 iOS 811 Great app supports units of data big enough for decades to come Still works well
Last time I checked 1GB1024MB Waste of money Would be very happy if this ever gets corrected Until then I wont purchase anything from KCMA Not Fixed
1GB 1024MB Please update so
nice work no problems at all very slick
Finding useful apps can oftentimes be a challenge but Bytes is a winner Dont be put off by how inexpensive it is It works really well and doesnt try to be something more than it should be It paid for itself about five minutes after I installed it Very Cool and Handy Developer Tool
If you are a programmer you will find this app useful Much better interface than expected Well written tooIve not encountered one bug Better than expected
Unlike other data unit converters this one has base2 eg Mebi and base10 eg Mega prefixes Slick interface and other practical features like decbinocthex conversion bitwise operations and ASCII reference Great for CS students Very useful
Is it possible to improve the converter 1024b1Kb1024Kb1Mb1024Mb1Gb etc Possible amendment
I thought this app would convert my target partition drive size into the binary amount in bytes to adjust the 7 difference Known as base 2 math It didnt help me convert base 10 to base 2 partition size Also the results window is small and theres no landscape view Not a base 10 to base 2 partition calculator
The ability to view in landscape would be nice also ability to convert whole IP addresses to binary and viceversa Way better than expected
Works great for converting bits bytes It does the conversion based off Base10 which works some of the time I wish there was an option to switch it to Base2 as I have a need for that more than Base10 Base2 1024MB 1GB Base10 1000MB 1GB Have not used the other features but seems to work well Great app needs Base2 support
Please if now it is paid app you must fix this 1GB1024MB10241024KB Now you have that 1GB has 1000MB Its a serious bug Is it a bug
