Everyone knows traditional compass apps dont work on the Ipod Touch as it lacks the necessary hardware At the time of this writing this app claims to be compatible with Ipod Touch Intrigued I dusted off my Touch and downloaded it to see if they had come up with a clever way to make it work Not surprisingly they had not Although I figured as much would happen it suggests the app makers dont fully understand the products they are working with Does not work on Touch

I like the ability to change formats and colordesigns within this app Love the instant access flashlight Like the option of choosing digital versus standard compass display All of these great attributes are completely nullified by the constant onslaught of full screen ads annoying hugely distracting and occur every other second or so it seems rendering this free app useless Too bad This app ended up in the trash bin Too many ads to count
