the free version is WAY better than the paid version the controls are small and i get so frustrated by how easily the taxi explodes this game needs major improvement           frustrating

This is a good game but is a complete copy of blimp but a lot more boring and almost impossible to beat The controls are really hard I find myself slipping my thumb on mm to the left and then instead of going up the taxi goes down and you lose a life Also the slightest touch to any object causes instent death and loss of life I dont understand why you get more money for one passenger than another There is no explanation for this A much better game is blimp same concept but more fun better graphics and easier control           Ok game but hard to control

The concept seems fine but these are just about the worst controls Ive ever seen on an iPhoneiTouch app Miniscule buttons are very difficult to press which means it is very difficult to control the game I quickly lost patience with this     terrible controls

I found this game out of no where What a pleasent surprise I feel like a real cab driver only with futuristic vechicles that can hover and fly like a hovercraft Fun game and a steal at the price                 Great Find

It lost my saved data and now that it supports the ipad the control buttons are too small so I sometimes miss and fail           Update seems worse

I used to play this game on my Commodore 64 it was called Space Taxi and this is a pretty damn good rewrite of the game It would be nice to see the original graphics as a choice to get the total retro feel to it              Retro Game Updated

The controls are frustrating the left and right thrust buttons are very near each other so its easy to accidentally go the wrong direction and Wham into a wall Tilt support would be cool Colors are hard to discern sometimes so be careful when flying near something and the sky changes shades Some of the targets to land in are really tough to fit into Character voices hailing the cab are a bit creepy especially the deepvoiced guy Its kind of cool that you can buy replacement cabs at the end of your game so you can continue The game shifts between portrait and landscape modes which was jarring at first as I was setting up my first game Its also iphoneipod touch only an ipad version would be awesome        Frustrating game but has potential

I agree that they should have used tilt for the left and right The touch controls dont seem very responsive in this        Controls are not awesome

The controls are way too hard to use I kept bumping the pause or quit button The taxi blows up way too easily It took me 10 minutes of frustration to reach the 2nd level then I deleted the app because the 2nd level was even harder This has the potential to be a good game but dont spend your money on it yet        Ouch

Loved the game needs improvement on the controls Its not responsive most of the time Ill give it a five start onece that I fixed        Great game but controls are unresponsive

This is a fantastic fun game for only one dollar They should be charging like 3 bucks for this My only question is how do I unlock the tow truck taxi                 AMAZING

Love the idea Looks good Just cant dig the controlls Would have been much better if you allowed me to love the taxi by tilting rather than the slider bar And it is the cab blows up way too eaisly Also and this is minor but the peoples voices are just downright annoying        Meh at best

Great graphics really great music There are no physics in this game Brushing the ground or a wall kills you instantly but you can slam into the landing pads with no issue Flight mechanics lack realism what is the landing gear for what is a perfect fare No one would know since there is no documentation Garbage app through and through Play concept completely unrealized not worked through and not executed     Excellent graphics and sound wasted

If you like your gravlanding games ugly unresponsive and characterfree Cabby is for you If not pick up the immeasurably superior Blimp You can thank me later        Not so much

Cabby from Hidden Games is the iPhone game breed between Crazy Taxi and Ataris arcade Lunar Lander that will remind you of the 90s Air Taxi In this game you are a taxi driver in a future where cars fly As in every moon lander game youve got limited fuel landings can be tricky and the cab company counts with your skills to complete your shift without crashing your car The pixel art is fun and the 3D background add a lot to the game up to the standard of other premium games Cabby has some small flaws but gets my highest recommendation for any iPhone retro gamer   I honestly think that Cabby could be priced much higher If you think the controls might not be for you you get the Lite version that has a lot of replay value itself and it includes my favorite city level                  Have landing experience Try to land this Cabby

Never been compelled to write a review before but after reading everyones complaints I had to This game is pretty well made it reminds me of Canabalt I dont know y everyone complains about the controls THATS HOW THERE SUPPOSED TO B this Isnt the first game that required actual SKILL AND FOCUS the music is great the graphics are nice and so is the gameplay I really hope there t future updates thanx for making this one free for now              This Is actually a pretty great game

I enjoyed playing this game It takes a little while to get the hang of the controls but thats the point It was a fun and visually appealing experience Still playing it and will probably continue to for a while              Good game

The perception that the buttons are tiny throws me off I noticed that the area that you can touch to activate the buttons is larger than the buttons themselves but I am constantly trying to push the tiny boxes making me either do or not do a particular action If you could make the buttons just a little bit bigger thatd be awesome Perhaps twice the size they are now The lowered field of view will be a worthy sacrifice              Its a good game but

The good cool premise nice graphics fun gameplay The bad the physics are a bit off No momentum drift etc But the biggest issue is the controls They seem unresponsive making gameplay extremely difficult I hope they can resolve this issue since Id really love to play this game more           Good start needs refining

There are so many reasons that this could be a great little 3D sidescrolling game and so many reasons why this execution has made me want to delete it after many hours of gameplay The Controls I dont know why anybody thought the controls were big enough along the bottom of the screen Why not do it the way other games do and make bands of the screen correspond to each control When there are only a few buttons it makes for fewer gameplay mistakes because you finger slipped off the button The Cars With only a limited number of levels the cars should unlock a lot more quickly They also seem to have fairly abitrary choices about their handling They may not be but thats how they feel I only unlock the first car and it made playing levels Id played before MUCH harder and less fun which in my opinion is not worth playing for Sorry but I was really hoping this game would seriously improve but it hasnt so I cant play it anymore     Poorly executed good idea

The idea behind the game is pretty good idea but the delivery and ridiculously hard to control and a alight tap and you explode gameplay engine make thus nothing more than a huge exercise in Frustration instead of a fun time waster        Poorly executed but good concept

Yeah Good luck even starting the first level Its impossible not to kill anyone nor crash your cab Garbage app I feel really sorry for anyone who payed for this damned thing They should change this game to how many people and or cabs can you crash in 10 seconds     Controls are ridiculous

Im currently working a taxi driver despite extreme overqualifications More importantly I love good games to play in the long hours between runs and this aint one of em     Epic taxi fail

Graphics are top notch and there are plenty of vehicles as well as playable levels available The game also boasts of three breathtaking game environments and a great soundtrack to choose from  While the graphics are gorgeous and the whole concept itself is unique this is the first action game Ive tried that has a time management element to it its really difficult using the game controls because they are too small The game would work so much better if the devs were to provide an alternative control scheme that would maximize the multitouch screen or accelerometer based controls of the iPhoneiPod Touch Still the game is difficult to put down if not for the sheer effort to master the controls Gorgeous fun and imaginative this games production values is a steal at its current price              Fun challenging and imaginative

its been a while since i last played it but wow what a drastic change when i played it a long while ago on my iPhone3G the game was fun had good controls great music and it was challenging now with the updates its a totally different game the graphics seem worsethe controls are too loose and everything the taxi comes into contact with makes it explode wish i never updated it was a really cool game in its early incarnations uninstalling it now to free up storage space     awful

This game is one of those you find by accident Its fun and different It would be so much cooler if the controls were a little more responsive Its a little hard to control but fun non the less With an upgrade this game would great           Cool little gembut

I didnt pay for this so Im not discouraging anyone from trying it I will say this though I played it twice and removed it immediately after that Everything about the game is slightly lowrent but where it really suffers is the gameplay Its simply not fun My main complaint is that barely touching a wall blows up your cab I guess I could play more and get better but I dont relish that     Torturous
