Calc86

Ive used and loved this app for a long time but it no longer works with iOS 802 When I start it up as soon as I hit a button it crashes Please fix     No longer works with 802

when i type in 21 calc86 throws an error i guess it doesnt support negative exponent other than this i am using this well           error

Ive always been a big fan of the TI86 and it was a pure delight to find increadibly well made app I used the 86 so much when I was in school that when I have to do a calculation now I think in terms of how I would enter it in there but I never have my 86 with me when I need it so this fills the needs quite well I just wish it had a couple functions that my real 86 had But its still really great                 Unique

It seems they no longer update calc86 to work with the new iPhone software Dont waste your money honey Now you press a number and it just crashes Boooooo I loved this calculator and used the ti86 all through high school and college and loved that there was an app that kept my love of the ti86 alive but now Very disappointed     They dont update this

Worked awesome when first bought a month ago but now crashes every time I open it and try to touch a button Please fix bug and I will change my review or provide a refund I was happy but now Very frustrated I spent money on this     Crashes on iPhone ios8

The TI86 is an engineers calculator aside from not offering RPN unfortunately Calc86 fails to implement the vast majority of its utility This begins with the compact and effective notation the TI86 offers for dealing with complex numbers ie ReIm Why do away with that in favor of having to add an i everywhere not trivial by the way if youre constantly crunching complex numbers for things like circuit design It continues with the dozens of functions that are in absentia a reality that virtually strips this calculator of utility beyond the basic scientific functionality Where are the linear algebra functions vector operators complex functions math functions Ive yet to see an iphone calculator app that captures both the essence and functionality of any of the truly great scientific calculators even the HP offerings shy away from the 48gfx and its progeny I realize this is only a 5 app but you shouldnt imply TI86 functionality when 90 of it is missing Perhaps Calc086 is a more germane nomenclature Caveat emptor I suppose On the up side this calculator seems stable and it looks goodtoo bad its beauty runs only skin deep        Not Even Close

This is the best scientific calculator for iphone Works great fast and has great multiline display Highly recommend it I love it                 Perfect

Looks and feels the same for basic inputs Does computer calculations but no user programmability No graphing but certain details of the user interface like 2nd enter scrolls through history are well done Now I can see my calculations the way I want to see them and type them in the way I want to type them in Great job This app is not actively update for about ½ a decade It was a good app for its day If youre looking at this app you probably want grafncalc83 Its way way way better and much much much more like a real TI                 Handles like a TI8186

Reminds me of my 85 I still use Place graphing on this and Ill be set              Sweet

I loved the TI85 calculator an used it all through high school and college My brain cannot do math without it now I can have it on my iPhone This is the best TI85 emulator I have found and for a reasonable price                 Fantastic
