MathStudio Math 42 Calculator by MyScript are just 3 of many calculators that I would consider superb or excellent calculators I m giving it a 1 star because I don t like it when Devs upvote their own app or have their buddies do it By the way i can t find how to run this calc in split screen Here are some of the things that I found easier or better on other calcs 1 Interacting with history is much easier than this one 2 Others have more functions 3 This one I can t do 5 5 5 if I want unless I go into scientific mode and then I lose other functions Overall I would go with MathStudio or Math 42 Calculator by MyScript is very nice if you like writing out your calculations You can even do things like 5 x 35 and it will tell you 7 It handles fractions and memory just fine If you use AppSliced at appsliced dot co no m after co you can set an alert to let you know when the pro version is free which handles history and other things very nicely Math 42 is perfect if you are a student or helping your child with homework You can put in a calculation or a function and ask it to show you all of the steps Very useful Also handles a When someone starts talking about a new era of calculators they need to actually see what s out there AppSliced is very useful if you are interested in finding calculators or any other paid app for free It lets you see the price change history as well as let you know the cheapest an app has been on sale and you can set it to alert you when a price changes to something you are willing to spend for an app For example if you see an app that is 4 99 and you are willing to buy it if it ever goes on sale for 99 or free you choose the drop down and set the price If the app goes on sale and is free sometimes you can set it for Free and it will only alert you when the conditions have met your selection unlike other similar apps that notify you every time there is a change I have nothing to do with AppSliced other than using it and loving it Great way to find apps     This doesn t add up pun intended Somps

I purchased this app because it s one of the only calculators that works with Split View on iPad I m disappointed however that the UI doesn t rearrange correctly in Split View For example while I love one line mode it is basically useless in 70 30 Split View because the number buttons are super skinny and there s no clear button And while scientific mode looks better in Split View it s more than I need and I have to hit after every calculation Please consider fixing these things because this app is very close to being perfect                 Almost perfect mrparet90

I have to say it is a nicely done calculator with very clear functions It has them all I tried finding an actual physical calculator on amazon that could do all of the same functions with the same speed and simplicity That calculator cost 250 dollars according to amazon This one was free calculators in general are taking a step forward However almost all of them could take one step further that would bring them into the calculator 2 0 erra they all need to include buttons for the basic functions that look like the actual functions themselves looks better than x looks better than x to the nth power we need more calculators that cut to the chase Although this calculatpr does not have buttons exactly the way I have just described it does have all of the above mentioned alternatives includimg nth root I am gibing this one five stars because it is curesntly the best available in thr app store at this moment Two other calculators dseerve an honorable mention calc trek and another drawing based calculator but even calc trek does not offer the speed and simplicity of this button based calculator There is only one reasonable alternative to thid calculator and it is the drawing based calculator Ive searched the app store far and wide only this and one other app come close to being a 2 0 calculator Good job and I wish the developers well                     One of the best all in one calculators Mike000000000000007
