Achieve long-term goals one step, or session, at a time by tracking them using your calendar. > A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Customize individual sessions including name, calendar, and duration. All ...
I want to get a handle on the amount of time I spend on social media This app has been very useful because 1 It allows me to look at my calendar after the fact and see exactly how much time Ive frittered away on Facebook and Twitter and 2 The alarm tells me how much time I have left in the session spurring me to focusprioritize so I can return to my offline life within a reasonable amount of time I originally thought that the alarm would be distracting andor annoying but Ive come to rely upon it to impose a selfdiscipline I currently lack I look forward to having more options with the repeating alarm such as being to choose among different sounds and more flexible time intervals Hint hint Mr App Developer                 Helpful for Social Media SelfDiscipline
I like your idea and you have done a great job implementing the concept I knew instantly that this is what I was looking for when I ran across it an am thrilled that it works exactly the way I would expect Within seconds of opening the app I was able to connect to all of my installed calendars and select which one I wanted to record the specific task If I use all the time that I had planned then I get an opportunity to post to the calendar very rewarding Tested the following Continues timing correctly while other apps are running pass Notifications are easy to adjust via the ios notifications settings pass Calendar events post as expected pass Events can be retained as standard timetask elements as expected pass What I had to think about When stopping a task its possible to restart with cumulative time only if I dont start another Calendar Timer task The more I think about it the better I like the way that works I was thinking of it as a time tracking tool but really my intent is to use this as a tool for insuring that I spend adequate time on important task in a focused manner Ive been using a chess clock on my desk previously for tracking the use of discretionary time and found that it only helps if I use the time in a dedicated fashion The way you implemented this works well and I like the discipline that it requires in order to receive the reward my calendar update What I would like to see Ability to manage how often the notifications are provided within the tasktimer Why some types of task are helped by the notification but for others it is a distraction Option to complete the task without finishing the time allocated My thought is that this action would remove the saved tasktimer and post a finalcompleted event to my calendar Why If Im working on a series of sprints for completing a personal project I may not need the compete time for the last sprint I still want to get the calendar event posted however Very happy with your new app and I look forward to the your future updates and success Outstanding work Thank You                 Well Done
Surprisingly fast and effective at what it does beautiful sparse design and sounds Helps me track the hours spent on a thesis b freelance work Regular updates If youre looking for time boxingtracking integrated to any of your calendars to easily track your personal time management history through the calendar app you prefer anytime Ive found just one more app that does that and its more billing oriented and cluttered This one is perfect                 Gets better and better
