    Excellent app                 Excellent
Helpful clearly organized simple app which mainly serves up the always excellent road testing and reviews by Consumer Reports                 Excellent
My mistake I guess to assume that this app would give me access to their used car research If I had read the description closer I wouldnt have wasted 3 on an app I didnt need     What no used cars
Use it for everything I buy                 Great app
If they are currently testing a vehicle which was the case for a few different cars I was looking for there are no ratings whatsoever Even for the previous year model They also have zero information for any other model then current year This app is worthless to me and would rather use the website What a waste     No information at all for some cars
Since last update the section for car ratings is not working        Update
Wow what a disappointment The app I just downloaded doesnt even look like the screenshots and what good is it with no used car information Thats one of the main reasons weve subscribed for over thirty years Dont bother with this one     Poor usability no used car information
Better than the other voices in my head a voice of reason I particularly like the why you shouldshould not buy notes Helps keep you more reasonable in negotiations                 Great helper
It would be much nicer if I could research used cars I will never buy brand new        Only new
Non biased car ratings than are right up there with the best car magazine reviews                 Better Than Ever
Well organized thorough replacement for printed guides Each review is sprinkled with a short video and photos of the models interior and exterior Ratings include an abundance of data including crash tests              Clean Direct To the Point
Very disappointed This app only offers info on New cars Not helpful to those of us on a used car budget     New Cars Only
So I bought this app Requires username and password so no access     Not happy
والله مدري منزلها بس عشان اخذ جواهر لكلاش ببلاش     غباء
This app isnt free at all If the app 2 instead given the first month then more people would probably want it Otherwise it requires a monthly payment I would get the magazine           Not actually free
The content on the app is good and its a good quick resource However the website with full access has much more information that is worth while to pay for if you are buying a new car              Website is better
Great product makes you do research                 Headcookand bottle washer
Clear complete unbiased information                 Its the best
Overall the app works fine You can easily research different cars features and even price However it is cumbersome in terms of comparing models let alone vehicles              Does what it says
CR is great But this app leaves a lot to be desired Main problem You can only view cars via make It would help very much if you could view them via class           CR Yay App BOO
Nice looking app with good content but cant compare various models of cars and would be good to search by class           Just Fair
Sorry but nothing seems to work on it I have iPhone 6 with iOS 83     Dont work
    Good interface                 Good interface
This app is real shady It tricks you into giving your phone number and gives your contact information to every dealership in your state This is the only place I entered my phone number while searching for a car thinking CR is safe and will be responsible with my info Wrong Now I am getting constant sales calls from everywhere I live in Northern California and Southern California dealers keep calling I am so mad at Consumer Reports     A new low for Consumer Reports
Im looking for a used car so this app is no help     No used cars
I recommend this app for anyone looking for a car While I would not use the calculator as written in stone Knowing the ballpark of what it should cost me for what I am getting is extremely helpful The videos are just sometimes fun to watch Check out the Bmw 3 series videos I wish there was an app to see more of those awesome people on the track every day Making sure we are not taken for a ride by the dealer Love you guys                 I consumer reports
I guess all of us should be buying new cars only     NEEDED Used car information
Great as a quick reference to summary info Very helpful for narrowing down options when comparing alternatives              Great quick reference
Consumer Reports provides great advice with regard to purchasing two year old vehicles Yet the app provides data exclusively for new cars Im disappointed     New cars only
    i like it                 very good
Always has problems havent been able to log in yet     Cant log in
Shame on you Consumer ReportsI didnt expect the old bait and switch from you You offered me a free apponly its not Your tactics stink     Ms
I agree with other comments that the app lacks the useful features from the CR Cars section of consumerreportsorg such as sidebyside model comparisons and a subset of their online car data For example the cargo space is NA for all models Ive checked Its navigation is also a bit kludgy That said it may be useful to have when walking around say an auto show and inspecting cars Having the videos in one place is nice too           No substitute for consumerreportsorg
Now its 1 now its 3 per month I like very much the idea and the philosophy of CR however this app is a shame It says that my subscription expires in 11 days and yet I cant see any ratings anymore Automatic subscription has been cancelled as the price increased from 1 to 3 per month and Im happy that Apple canceled that As for the content I do like those road test videos and the independent buying of those vehicles Just a little more transparency and better app implementation would be in order           Now you see it now you dont
It has been great to have this app as I have made my round of dealerships              Great Tool for Comparing Cars
Insanely ironic that a socalled consumer protection watchdog magazine would pull the old baitandswitch The App is technically free I saw an ingame ad for it but requires a 299 per month subscription to their magazine to log in and get past the first screen Talk about a ripoff I thought Consumer Reports was supposed to help consumers not mislead us And dont give me this well we only list it as free so our readers can get it from the iTunes Store nonsense I saw it ADVERTISED in a game as free That is misleading at best Im wondering what Consumer Reports reaction would be if I requested a refund of my cellular carriers data charges for downloading their worthless app     NOT FREE Totally Misleading
This app is useful if youre buying a new car that hasnt been redesigned for a while Otherwise its worthless The only info provided is for brand new cars and only for cars with lots of survey responses        Zero used car info
Really handy when searching for your next car I just hope they optimize the app on iPhone 66           Must Have App
Really cool lots of information                 Great overall car review
This app is very thorough and just about all you need to kickstart your car buying journey The reviews are detailed nonbias and the loan calculator is super helpful and easy to use CRs standard ranking system is a big plus to get a quick read on the pros cons of each car My only negative would be the lack of photosvideos only about 1012 per but the Edmundscom app became my perfect compliment to this CR app and has a lot more imagesvideos of documenting the extensive color and interior vehicle model variations Plus it was good to get reviews and perspectives from another reputable POV Highly recommend this Consumer Reports app and it helped me a lot on my recent purchase                 Helped tremendously
Make models easy to find and relevant information succinctly presented                 Great format
Download sign in then no car ratings available Doesnt make sense     Car ratings not working
Aside from this it gives a very thorough review of the cars it lists Just wish they had an iPadspecific version of the app              No iPad app
Loads of good unbiased information However its difficult to compare cars in a category You can look up cars individually but not by class and not side by side           Love CR app is a letdown
The website has much more detailed info the app while useful should be more informative        Website better
CR best scam in world     Same
    And informative                 Well organized
Unless you are interested in the base price of a model this app seems unable to configure and price a vehicle as you would want it           Pricing function is worthless
To the guy below named Slappy McMasters dont you know what the new word GET means when you first download the APP If not which Im sure you must know it means you get to check out the inside of the APP for FREE so to speak but then have the choice to pay money for the features inside so its not a surprise to anyone Also to those critical of this new app please remember its a NEW APP and all new apps especially need room ie some grace for improvement You can leave FEEDBACK by simply tapping APP SUPPORT next to where you did this review let them know your feedback Lastly Consumer Reports is a NONPROFIT organization and does not have unlimited funds where they can do all this for FREELol Ive been subscribing to CR for years have their APP as well Thankful for all theyve done to be an EXCELLENT consumer Watchdog they have helped me save thousands of dollars Thanks Consumer Reports Keep up the great job                 Great Job Consumer Reports
I love Consumer Reports its totally worth the subscription fee especially when youre making a big purchase You get your money back tenfold when you buy a quality product like a good car or a good TV                 Consumer reports is best researched
