Although this App for buying and selling anything from clothing to electronics is relatively new I believe it has great potential It is somewhat interactive which I like The more you follow and like others postings the more exposure you get as a seller I am looking forward to when they add shipping options for sellers instead of figuring it out on your own This App is definitely worth a try if you are looking to both buy and seller Happy seller so far                 Great App For Buying Selling

Its disappointing because I tagged somebody and she said she did not get any notifications about the tag So it means the tag is not working at all Also I wish theres a private message where I can talk to the buyerseller in private Also mostly who followed me on here are from Singapore Hmmm     Cannot tagsend a private message

I love selling and buying on carousell Its easy to list items and sharing on social media sites is a breeze When you first sign up you get a personal welcoming email from one of their representatives which is rare to see They reply with any questions you may have and if you need help its there Full NONautomated customer support at your finger tips which is admirable to see in a company Nice work UPDATE 53 Still running smoothy as when I first downloaded this app Improvements made on deleting chats which is great I really love that we can send customers picture images its one of my favorite features as explaining things is sometimes easier with a diagram The admins are also very actively testing within the app which is always a good thing to see Yup Ive noticed                 Simple Trustworthy Great Customer Service

Much easier and quicker to list items and chat with buyers compared to the previous website I was using Pretty well thought out as I can now sell items without revealing personal contact details and yet Im still contactable by buyers through the chat function I do think the camera function can be improved                 Good app

I wish I could give Carousell 5 stars but there are too many weaknesses that really put a damper on both sellers and buyers If these are addressed I would definitely consider giving them 5 stars For the most part this marketplace has pros others lack For example there is no listing fees or final sale fees Sellers can coordinate transactions via the method of their choice and cut out the middle man other marketplaces take The marketplace is also fairly large and somewhat active relative to other commissionfree marketplaces The cons however are abundant and Ive seen little improvement in the past year Firstly the layout is terrible They group items into very vague categories like for him for her etc There are no subcategories so you will find everything from housewares to clothing and childrens items all scattered throughout each category There are so many inactive users and Carousell wont remove them They leave the listings up even though some of these users have been gone for over a year I tried to buy 12 different items and wasnt able to because all of the users 12 different people were inactive I reported them multiple times and nothing happened My experience as a seller has also been pretty underwhelming Ive sold roughly 10 items over an entire year on other marketplaces I sell items nearly everyday I get hundreds of likes but few buyers There is no way to contact buyers offer them discounts or even notify them when the price drops Ive noticed most people who followed me and liked my items have abandoned their accounts There are also a lot of trolls Ive dealt with about 20 trolls and also a dozen or so children Lastly they have a list of featured sellers Rather than having set criteria to be a featured seller they appear to hand pick individuals without a rhyme or reason Some of these featured sellers havent sold anything or did anything to prove themselves as worthy of the designation There are small businesses with very professional photos and lots of positive feedback that are not selected as featured sellers yet they will give this designation to teenagers whom havent made a sale or received a single positive feedback and take pictures of wrinkled clothes on floors no sales or feedback I wish they had set criteria like how eBay has set criteria to be a power seller or Poshmarks toprated seller           Okay for a CommissionFree Marketplace Nothing Special

Carousell developers have created a great market place But this app is a major battery killer Check your Battery Usage under General settings Mine shows Carousell draining about one third of battery last week This is too much for just one app If you fix this youll get five stars                 Battery killer
