Out of all the amino offerings this is the only one that ever caused me problems I m a professional animator with thirty years experience in the industry who wanted to join a cartoon oriented community to share some of my favorite artistic influences and share some of my own cartoons I first joined it around a year ago and started listing some of my longtime favorite cartoons but due to time restraints I had no time for a while to do anything else Finally around a couple of months ago I started sharing my comic strips I had created for social media All tasteful and G rated as all my cartoons are Almost immediately I had appreciative readers complimenting my work I was getting lots of followers All was well Then something preposterous happened The owners of the amino saw that my comic strips sometimes use portions and pieces of public domain photos edited into the visuals for gag purposes This is a commonly used technique used by cartoonists and animators from as far back as Walt Disney s Alice series and the Fleischer cartoons all the way up to such recent works as Bloom County Spongebob Squarepants The Muppet Babies Lilo Stitch you name it Despite this the amino owners whom I m guessing from their actions are probably about a third my age without any proper or historical knowledge of the very medium they claim their amino is supposedly about decided that the photo splicing made my cartoons wrong for posting and started fanatically marking nearly ALL of them for deletion And my new audience was terribly disappointed wondering where everything went I will not put up with such an immature staff Therefore I simply deleted myself from Cartoon Amino and took myself to other social medium where I have never had problems i e everywhere else but Cartoon Amino I also announced via social medium that I am boycotting it Avoid     Terrible Indiana Goof

This is awesome When I was younger I have always cartoons especially Dexter s Laboratory The original Powerpuff Girls Ed Edd n Eddy Johnny Bravo and Courage the Cowardly Dog back in the day and now I ve grown to love the CN shows in present day the good ones like Adventure Time Regular Show Amazing World of Gumball Steven Universe and We Bare Bears Now thanks to cartoon amino I can express how much I m glad these shows were a part of my life                     Truly a site to behold Veronica nwanna
