This has been very useful to learn the game You need a little patience to get through all the 95 slides If they cut it down a little it will be better but still we were able to nail all the rules with the tutorial There are slight mistakes in the tutorial so we skipped the actions after we reached halfway and only listened to what was being said after a point This made the tutorial move faster                     Great way to learn the game Nc89

I thought it was a good way to learn but my wife and son thought it was slow annoying and condescending Also as the red player it set me up for failure when it lets you play on your own That has nothing to do with any other game after the tutorial ever But just sayin             Meh MCoverKT

I got this game for Christmas and to be honest I thought it would be lame to play with a bunch of other early 20 year olds so i tried to give it a chance and learn how to play by myself It was great Now I can t wait to play with friends This is a way better outlet to learn then the book So easy to understand and play Definitely recommend                     Best way to learn how to play berriesarerandom

As many others have said this app is great for beginners I had some very little experience playing Catan before but my friends had not Loaded up this app and ran through the tutorial and they were able to pick up on every major mechanic in the game and do extremely well Highly recommended to help teach the game                     Great to teach new players mckinseykm

I have friends who play Catan and whenever they re all gathered around a table playing I never know what s happening I don t wanna ask because I wouldn t want to bother them with explaining to me how it works while they re playing I m sure they just want to get on with playing so this app is perfect It explains the rules while you play which is the best way to learn in my opinion Definitely going to keep this in my Games folder                     Perfect for beginners GCRokzZzZz

This is the fastest and easiest way to learn the basics It s a mock game as in Pretend blue just rolled a 6 He is now able to build a Way better than referencing the booklet after every action My husband and I played once with friends a year ago and didn t remember much so I think it s a great tool especially if you don t have an experienced player around We ve joked about making our friends do the tutorial on their own before we play rather than trying to explain it ourselves                     Great crash course Chelsea Hull
