I had high hopes for this app but its predicted arrival times are persistently inaccurate and unreliable at least on bus routes 92 and 93 Im sure the problem somehow stems from the MBTA     Disappointed

A musthave for Boston commuters Ive only had a few inconsistencies over a year of use I only wish it had the T lines as well Easter egg try shaking the phone while on any given bus stop page                 Yeah

39 inbound route lately is showing 2 buses arriving one in 3 min and the next in 12 min but the 3 min bus never comes This matters in the freezing cold     Problem with 39 route

Great for MBTA bus times and schedules I use this app several times a day and quite pleased with its UI and reliability                 Clever App

This app was super helpful and awesome for quite a while but is due for an update The case of the disappearing ghost bus keeps happening Also not sure if the system delivers info on Not In Service busses but the app reads them as in service I would gladly pay for my share of an update if it means getting the awesome service I used to experience        Used to be awesome

Despite having loved the previous version of this app I can only give three stars now since the developer has shown themselves to be careless with my data Woke up this morning to find all my data gone No one expects an app thats been stable for over two years to suddenly update and break itself           Wish I could give it more

This app doesnt reflect changes in MBTA stops for the bus routes Ive tried catching buses that I know for a fact stop at certain places but the app says the stops dont exist Conversely I also sat at a bus stop that the app specifically listed as the end of the line for one route but according to MBTA staff it ceased to exist months ago Ill start to use the app again when it is more accurate and uptodate        Inaccurate and Outdated

Please this app would rock even more if a Notification Center widget is added please take advantage of iOS 8 at its best           App NEEDS a NC widget

This app works fine inbound to Boston in the mornings but is completely unreliable at night because the dispatcher redirects buses as he sees fit May as well save the phones battery and just wait outside when going home        Ride the Bus

Great app usually but needs fixing to work with iOS8 If you try saving a stop to your favorites the app crashes and closes Will check back later this week to see if its fixed           Needs updating to work with iOS8

Best feature is the realtime bus locations on the maps Unfortunately here in Boston sometimes buses return to their starting point and then vanish instead of starting their next trip Maybe the MBTA takes them out of service So the maps arent completely reliable Lost all my favorite stops in the October 2014 update              Realtime locations

Yeah every now and again the app messes up due to busses standing by but the fact is knowing when the busses are coming and going is absolutely awesome And this is the best app in Boston hands down                 Game changer for bus riders

CatchTheBus is perfect Simple direct and fast Despite it not supporting my iPhone 5s screen for the last two years I couldnt bring myself to use any of the now dozens of competitors on the App Store I tried them all and CatchTheBus simply gets me the information I want faster Thank you so much for the update                 Perfect

I have been using this app for my daily commute on crosstown buses and its predictions are good Note that you should always leave extra time for traffic if using during rush hours since the app cant predict heavy traffic or lots of passengers holding a bus up Regardless the GPS map is very helpful in tracking bus movements in real time Bottom line use some common sense and this app will serve you just fine                 Accurate and so helpful

This is the best bus app BY FAR There are only two issues one is a bug that deletes stops The other is its missing a feature to edit the order of bus stops So I took on star off for that              Best App

This update is awful Times dont automatically update Home screen doesnt show all stops Should be able to customize Once app is closed reverts back to home screen not like the last app which stayed on your saved stops Very buggy update Go back to the old way please Still going to give 5 stars because its a great overall app                 Great App Awful update

Used to work perfectly No I have missed buses a few times due to its inaccuracy I have reported this but it is still not working correctly Find a better app like I am going to        Not accurate at all

This is the most unreliable app I have ever seen says bus comes in 4 min then stays on 4 min for 10 PLZ do not use this app if you have somewhere to be completely inaccurate     Completely unreliable

Ive been using this app for several months going to and leaving work Its now an integral part of my commute as I am able to time the bus and not stand outside like a popsicle awaiting the bus to grace my stop Accuracy Its been off once or so I perceived That puts it better than 99 accurate No bad                 An important part of my daily commute

I love this app and I use it almost every day Almost I think that this app doesnt do as good a job as others when it comes to showing me a handful of routes that I want to see For example other apps show me arrival times for my favorite stops in one view This app makes me tap and wait for each stop that Ive added to My Stops For that reason I dont use this app for arrival predictions However this app is absolutely superior to all others for showing busses on a map I couldnt live without seeing how far away in distance is the next bus from me because that often helps me figure out which route to take which stop to walk to if theres bunching etc For me just getting the number of minutes until the next bus comes along to one stop isnt the Big Picture By seeing on a map where the busses are relative to my location and relative to the stops I can make far better decisions on my commute than without the mapping If youre someone who doesnt need the great map view of the route vehicles then this app is good but not great If youre like me and seeing everything on a map is helpful then this app is the best              Best MBTA bus app for seeing busses on a map

According to the info given I had four 4 minutes before the bus would arrive Alas I was just crossing the street to the bus stop when the bus due in four minutes arrived early than expected I just missed my bus Darn Thus has happened before Why the in accuracy     NOT VERY ACCURATE

5 star app for me Always reliable it could be improved in some features like a more handy way to select the stops of the bus Its a bit annoying to go back to the main screen and pick the bus and then pick one of the dozen stops                 Useful and realiable

So Ive used this app for quite some time and have had good experiences previous to the last few months I realized there hasnt been a new version in almost a year and a half recently though and no screen adjustment for an iPhone 5 Today I was getting completely inaccurate times Example it said I had over 20 minutes from my stop so I started walking over to the train only to have a bus come by maybe 3 minutes later Then a bus rolled right by me while I was waiting behind a glass door even though it said I had 2 minutes left Im hoping for some fixes but maybe Im due to find a new bus app     Inaccurate

This app is highly inaccurate and there are free apps that do the exact same thing Ive also tried to email through the app to point out flaws and have yet to relieve anything in return So its safe to say the producers of this app do not look at it anymore     Save your money

I rely on this app but its not always accurate Sometimes it doesnt show a bus going by After downloading the latest update lost all my saved buses and stops Very disappointed I will look for a better app           Its ok

Buses coming inbound are accurate Outbound buses go from 27 min to 1 to 6 min to 9 min all in the spam of 10 min        Write about half the time

A must have if you avail yourself of even just one bus line in the metro Boston area If you even occasionally use more than one or two incredibly useful even if dependent on wifi spots                 fantastic

Loses my saved stops constantly and sometimes my saved stops wont even show up on the saved list Predictions are usually right but a decent job transit app should give accurate times 100 of the time because thats the entire point for the app Cant tell you how many times I have missed buses and been late for work or other things directly because of this app I have been stuck walking home or needing a taxi because this apps last bus of the night predictions were incorrect and all over the place bus times kept jumping around for literally an hour and the bus never showed I simply cannot rely on this app I will be deleting it for good and looking for something else     Horrible

Whenever I try to save to my stops it crashes So one of the major features of this app doesnt work Otherwise it is helpful           Crashes when I try to save a stop

It constantly states no buses are comingthere are no predictions when its the middle of the day and buses are certainly It will say a bus comes in 14 minutes then refreshes a minute later and suddenly that same bus is coming in two minutes or disappears     buy something else

I echo what others have said that this app used to be GREAT but it really needs an update now The Boston MBTA schedules have adjusted quite a bit since the last update I used to use it in conjunction with the google maps app and that made me a transit goddess but now Im back to being a mere google maps mortal Please please please developers update this app     Not useful until it gets updated

I understand its hard to determine when a bus will arrive having to wait on passengers traffic etc but there have been too many instances where I will look to see when the next bus will come and when it doesnt ill look at the app again and it will push back the arrival time over and over again I once looked at the app and watched it go from 1 minute to 3 minutes 8 times in a row When its 10 degrees out the humor gets lost quickly        Inaccurate 70 of the time

Rarely it is totally off but usually the 39 predictions are right on              Usually helpful with the 39

Had some trepidation about choosing which app to use for timing my MBTA bus commute Chose this one on a whim and have found it completely accurate to the minute I have an iPhone5 and ride the 43 bus from the South End to Downtown                 Bostons Best Bus App

I shouldnt have downloaded this I live in upstate NEW YORK No assistance whatsoever        They need to make this for other places
