New update has started popping up banner ads to cover the screen Closing works for only a few seconds then it is back Corona beer I am talking to you Deleting the app until this is fixed Popup ads make it unusable

Most of the time news videos stall after playing about one second At that point they cannot be restarted Quite frustrating to try to use Video Stalls

The new app looks great until the ads start jumping around Youre just beginning to read a headline and suddenly it moves and theres an ad instead Scroll to find the headline you were reading and just when you settle on it it all moves again Made me seasick Deleted the app Moving ads confusion

I like having local news at my disposal butthe spelling is shockingly poordont they proof read the stories Frequent mistakes pop up in each article and actually slow my reading down gives it a very juvenile feel and therefore a little untrustworthy News
There are problems with this update Needs work I give it three stars because it was a nice app before the update PROBLEMATIC UPDATE
After the new iOS 7 the app no longer worksopens up a 3rd party link without warning and goes blank Doesnt work anymore

I take all of the polls however you never put the number of votes The percentages are Interesting but does not tell you how many people were actually interested Also your traffic reports and maps do not hold a candle to 739 NBC traffic reports Polls
Old news remains to make the app look good it would seem Stories talk about upcoming events that happened up to a week ago Either support the app or pull it Old news content
I have all of the local news apps for San Diego and this is the only one that annoys me because of its poor design For some reason it feels like the stories should be above the headline so everytime I visit this site I naturally click on the wrong link and the story that pops up is not the one I intended Even the local news apps for Los Angeles and for national news all work intuitively for me This was is not visually laid out very well at all Channel 10 has a great design and I recommend it over this app if you want local news Poor design
I used to like this app a lot but now it is so overrun with ads that its pretty worthless in my opinion You end up accidentally clicking ads that are listed right along with the news stories which is really annoying Especially as I go out of my way to NOT click ads They even have them disguised in the pictures It will list 4 pictures but as you swipe through them you discover that 1 or 2 of them are actually ads 10news has become my goto app for local news Used to be a great news app
I like the new look but I liked the old one better because it listed what time something posted I dont have much time to read the news and dont want yo waist time clicking on something I already read New look ok
So you cant use the previous version They make you update the app Then when you expect a better app they have an app filled with ads Good job news 8 Mandatory update so they can push ads on you

This used to be my favorite news app but the ads make my screen freeze all the time I dont have the same issue with any other local news apps Its way too frustrating to use now Fix it and Ill come back No longer functional
For the most part the app works well and is user friendly but having to watch a 30 second commercial before ever video mind you its the same ad over and over is enough to make me delete the entire app from my phone Check out King 5 Seattle Their app is AWESOME Almost good enough
There are now commercials that come on automatically after clicking on a story that last for at least 20 seconds and there is no way to exit from them Very annoying app Stupid commercials
Generally a good news app but the unavoidable 30 second commercials before the news clips is a deal breaker Delete No Thanks
Some days there are no new stories and when I do actually get a news alert on my phone the story is nowhere to be found on the app Dont love it
I sampled all three network apps in our area and chose CBS I find it is very newsy and uptodate with a lot of local news I highly recommend it Great App
They dont update their news stories often enough and they seem to copy news 10 which in my opinion is a better local news app Old news
Theres no way getting around the ads I deleted the app and will stick to their internet site News 8 is great but
Its been two days and nothing has been updated in the news I have to go to either one of your competitors to find out what is going on You used to be up to date with what happened thinking of deleting your app its no where near the quality it is to be Would not recommend anybody to download this app at this time What happened
