I love this timer it works great for helping my special needs son with getting out of the shower But I wish when the timer went off the sound would go off longer Love this timerbut

I would rate this higher if it had the ability to notify you when the timer is done when the app is not on the screen It is a great visual timer to teach little ones to wait but if you want the child to do an activity while the timer runs the timer is so fun that it distracts from the activity and they want to play with it or watch it I wish it would work in the background so I could use it both ways Good and useful for teaching patience

This app is a wonderful idea It really gives our 3 12yearold daughter a sense of time and she has fun seeing the picture and hearing the sounds when the timer is done We have been using it for about two weeks now and she has a lot of fun getting to help set the kid timer Very fun Timer Spp

Great idea Needs better execution If you have autolock on your device the timer disappears No more visual It should bypass the autolock as an active app The ending sound was so short we didnt even hear it Provides no opportunity for childs learning through reinforcement Child lock doesnt allow for a parent to resetrestart So in short my kid turned it off by pressing the home button Didnt work for me Meh

I work from home which can make staying on track difficult Ive tried other productivity tools before like the pompodoro but this is my favorite It doesnt stress me out like timers that show a countdown and I amuse myself by uploading pictures if adorable things celebrity kittens ryan gosling awkward family photos so when the timer goes off a get a little chuckle Definitely recommend it to my ADD brothers and sisters and for kiddos as well Super fun app for the productivity obsessed

We have been using this on our ipad when it was iPhone only and it worked great with the previous update This version that adds ipad capability makes the timer way too small on ipad I would give this five stars for iPhone Other requested features pause and resume landscape mode for ipad Too small on ipad

I work with children with autism I love that this visual timer gives you the option to do seconds I also love the custom picture setting as you can use a picture of what they are working for as the countdown picture Great for use with kids with ASD

This app is pretty wonderful We began using it at bedtime for my 4 year old but I could also see the benefit of using it in a special needs class or during therapy sessions I agree with the other suggestions of adding an option for sound when the time is up and adding an option to pause but one other thing I would love to see is the option of also being able to see a number countdown at the same time so I can tell at a quick glance how much time is remaining Mamaneen

I am using this with my threeyearold granddaughter She asks to play for 5 extra minutes and she can visually see how the time passes She loves checking how much more time she has seeing the picture and then goes off to nap happily What a change from the battle we used to have Just wish it had an audio alarm at end of time Awesome app to with children
