Very useful easy to use and concise info Were on our last day of a wk long vacation have used the app literally every day for trailhead info hike descriptions distances Highly recommended for quick info
This is an excellent app and it does have maps Ignore the idiot who cant see the giant map icon right on the home screen In fact I love how you can go into a sub category say waterfalls and click on the map icon on the right upper corner to filter out only waterfalls on the map The app also doesnt need internet connection to run It was especially cool during the driving tour when I hooked the iPad to the cars audio system I could drag along the map see the attractions coming up and click on it to go into the details then click on the audio icon to play the tour for everyone in the car If only they could add some music in the background it would feel like the official national park tour Overall a great app especially for a free one Excellent app
My son and I visited the Smokies to do a little hiking This app was invaluable in identifying the trails that suited our needs and skill level Great app
