I love the toy The app only had it for five minutes and came to a conclusion When the dog is connected to the phone after several minutes the dog disconnects from all his accessories Dog has to be turned off and back on to resync Very annoying but other than that love it                 Problematic pmonstar

Okay Anyways Jake my first WowWee CHiP unfortunately has been malfunctioning When he turns his head you hear a deafening snapping noise and then the lights in his eyes go out He can t even move or anything No sound no eye lights no responses I personally think this is because you haven t been sending any firmware updates since June which I find quite weird Because of that Jake his former name was Casper stopped working and I had to buy a new one named Tanner and she s a chocolate CHiP Can you please please send more firmware updates I read this one review and I noticed it was also about firmware updates IndominusRex60                     Update Problems CrazyGriffon

Since the last update my CHIP has been disconnecting from my phone about every minute or two In order to get him to reconnect I have to close the app and turn off CHIP and start the pairing process all over again As far as I m aware this issue wasn t present in earlier updates Otherwise I am still really enjoying the app and glad that it works for voiceover users Go WowWee Robotics             Staying connected Blind Robot Lady

The app works great for my chip but i have some ideas for controls and stuff Maybe have an option like you would with speed and such enabling and disabling how he moves like only turning or only moving to the side directly Another possible update could be multiple phrases to get its attention not just hey chip and another version possibly up to three phrases Custom sounds could also be cool so if you dont like the dog noises it could be more mechanical or use other sounds or custom personalities i know you can hit the like on the watch or say good dog with custom movements another decent idea is maybe have more sounds for the original chip personality basically a dog rs media but it doesnt have a camera or whatever short version ideas the app itself works great with my robot custom personalities sounds multiple versions of hey chip not just the default and one custom toggling movements like turning the head movement off or the wheels moving him to the side rather than turning multiple personalities like with rs media or rsv2 somethin like that     Some ideas for future updates B0wser Dude

The app is great for interacting with CHiP but I can t tell if the app is lacking or the dog itself needs updating Basically I keep sending it to the charger and after some time the app still shows the same battery level even thought it s been on the charger for 15 minutes Additionally the dog just wants to get off the charger before it s fully charged like around 85 to 95 I have to keep telling it to go back to the charger Only after doing that a few times or unplugging and plugging back in the charger will the battery level update to current levels Another issue I keep seeing is the light on the charger turning from purple to blue which is supposed to indicate a full charge even when it s not fully charged             Nice App needs work Spetznatz1

I purchased Chip a couple weeks ago for the kids Christmas present I played with him a bit to get a good understanding of how it functions before I put him under the Christmas tree Christmas Eve rolled around finally so I turned Chip on and got a Firmware update notice I was hesitant to download it so close to Christmas Day but went ahead and updated I am glad I did Chip appears to respond much better now especially when finding his charger I didn t get to try out all the new features like Wiggle Butt but can t wait to see the kids expressions in the morning Merry Christmas everyone             Ready for Christmas mardoudan

If you have a chip dog I suggest to get this app its like the full package but it does have flaws you have to keep everything full But once you feed it it runs out super quickly And it s pretty annoying just to feed and feed yet other than that I love the dog and the app             Amazing dinapepperoniRosie

Its understandable that a toy dog like this would be quite limited hardwarewise but for a 150 200 price point I would have expected much more from the product In short chip is an omnidirectional robot who has an array of sensors such as 3 axis accelerometer and gyroscope 4 parallax ir sensors a few ir leds and ir recievers a microphone a speaker 6 rgb leds and 7 degrees of freedom with this amount of sensors and outputs I would love to see support for coding apps or at least an sdk for those that like to tinker the product is very attractive but is still lacking in the sortware department and needs more functionality software side on the bright side there is tones of room inside and outside the toy for a microcrontroller and more sensors with some modifications to the case and its assemblies c             Fun but very rudimentary app Pogocyberstar

CHiP is a great toy And I have an idea to intergrade an Apple Watch app for CHiP Like MiP there is an Apple Watch app to control it CHiP has it s own Smart Watch but making an Apple Watch app for CHiP would be amazing I m thinking that you can make an interface that looks like the Smart Watch but can do other tasks Like feeding CHiP adding accessories and other things that the iOS app has The only problem with this is that Apple Watch will not be able to see where CHiP is So playing fetch will not work But if you wear both the Apple Watch and the Smart Watch they would work together I hope you can take this idea into consideration Thank you WowWee                     Apple Watch app idea Johnny53453543534
