Its perfect music player but there is a big problem on sorting songs that start whith A like A Head Full Dreams or A Place for My Head My sorting is now H P A B C and thats why I dont wanna use this great player Please fix it Thank You                 Perfect But Cna_ch

At first I thought this app was very useful Then I realized that it crashes as soon as the playlists tab is selected at the top Once it crashes the app doesn t open anymore and just crashes everytime you try Completely useless until this bug is fixed This is happening on an iPhone 6 running iOS 9 3 2     Crashes Blue_SF

Genre tab is here Thanks Updated 9 12 15 I absolutely hate the iPhone native music app but haven t found anything that can replace it Choon is on the right path but they need to add in some more options Two that I would like to see added are 1 a Genre selection which is how I usually search for what I want to listen to and 2 a bookmark option for podcasts old time radio shows teachings audiobooks etc Looking forward to future updates                     Needs some more options smithworks

I really don t like the changes that Apple made to their Music App Way too many bells and whistles and way too much ramming Apple Music down our throats So when I discovered Choon I was delighted It does what a music player should do It just plays music I love the screen gestures for skipping songs pausing playing and volume control They are perfect and very intuitive I like the quick playlists and queues I have moved to this app as my go to for playing music I just updated to the current version 1 3 1 and it seems a little bit smoother and loads the music faster But I discovered that on my iPhone 6 running iOS 9 1 that when I tapped the Genres tab it crashed the player I couldn t reopen it or close and then restart it I had to delete it and download it again Other than that it is the perfect music app and I would give it more stars if I could                     Best Music Player Yet Thom_D

Edited 10 2 2015 And it s fixed again Thank you very much for quickly fixing the issues that broke in iOS 9 The problem with the volume muting as soon as you touch and press the cover art has been fixed and when you do this it just shows what the current volume is and you can scroll it up and down The other issue with scrolling in the Artists Filter killing the app has also been fixed So this is back to 5 stars and is still the best music app for iOS Edited 9 24 2015 iOS 9 0 borked the volume gesture I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 9 2 days ago and discovered that now when I tap and hold to adjust the volume it immediately drops the volume to zero and you are only able to raise it back up about 4 bars When you lift your thumb and re press to continue raising the volume it drops it back to zero or mute s it altogether I just noticed that when you scroll through Artists it crashes the app completely Still a great app and once this little glitch gets worked out I ca raise this back up to 5 stars Edited 9 11 2015 The update that was released today added Genres to the list of music options which was great The developers also seemed to have fixed the problem with the song titles and artwork not keeping up when you swiped on the now playing screen to change songs I had to restart my phone after downloading the update but it seems to be very smooth now If I have anything to complain about and I am really being picky here it is that the app takes a couple of seconds to start up as it reads my music library But as I said that is being really picky I can live with a short wait to have a great app at my disposal This has become my very favorite music playing app because the Apple Music app is still trying to jam the Apple Music service down our throats whether we want it or not I just want to be able to play my music on my phone the way I want to not the way that Apple thinks I should be doing it And Choon lets me do that That and the gesture controls are way easier to use than the non gesture interface that Apple s app uses Get this app hide the Apple Music app and just use this one Edited 8 18 2015 I am still in love with this app iOS 8 4 1 still didn t add the ability to shuffle an artists total catalog still just by album or you can make a play list which is still not easy to do in the native app Choon does this as I mentioned in my prior review and that is what I love the most The rest of the app is great as well Smooth interface with the ability to play music the way you want not the way someone else thinks that you should If I had anything to list as a con it would be that the song titles and artwork don t switch at the same time that the song actually changes This is so minor that I can still give this app 5 stars Original Review I really don t like the iOS 8 4 music app It has so much stuffed into it that it is hard to even find your own music much less play it the way you want to Choon is one of the first apps that lets me pull up an artist scroll through their albums or just play all of their songs I have a few artists that I have all their albums and I sometimes just want to shuffle play all their songs not just one album at a time which is what the stock iOS 8 4 music app limits you to I like the gestures in Choon they are easy to use and remember The interface is pretty and I like the way it adapts its colors to the album or artist you are listening to This is what a straight forward music app should be Well done                     This is what a music app should be Thom_D
