Aspiring singersongwriter here and just love this app Its nonstop in giving me fresh ideas not to mention how you can transpose so easily which is priceless to me Way cool
Except for ability to have multiple keys which for writing didnt really add anything anyway this is literally just a dice emulation no ability to hear or refine the sequence and often the dice dont show a chord but the logo There is an option to align the dice but even then they are often upside down or otherwise difficult to see There are many possibilities for a random chord sequence generator and this fulfills none of them Would be just about ok for a dollar but for 5 it really is poor value IMO Very disappointing
I really like the dice idea as a game and a learning tool I plan to use it for jam sessions with players of varying ability At first I thought the app was over priced until I did some math To buy one actual set of dice is approximately 12 This app gives you all sets without having the bulk of carrying anything extra for only 500 Unfortunately this app may cut into the inventors profit somewhat but his business plan is his business We get to benefit from his product Thanks for a great idea Great game and tool
I never really write reviews but found this product and then the app by way of Twitter to be a simple yet very useful tool when youre stuck with writersblock I Like It Simple Yet So Useful
This app just helped me write 5 songs in 5 minutes Haha It has great functionality in 24 different keys Awesome functionality
Being a newbie in the music world I need lots of practice moving from chord to chord With this I am able to get different sequences of chords that make practicing fun and beneficial Im also able to write songs even though I dont have as much experience as other musicians Thanks for chord dice This rocks when I roll Chord dice rolling me to success
Just you dont have to juggle around an instrumentI thought youd hear the chord progressions rolled Id give it five stars if it played the rolled dice with random or choice rhythm patterns A little pricy for not having these features Doesnt play chords for you
I was given a set of the Chord Dice as a gift and absolutely love them I downloaded this app for the other 23 keys I love this app If you dont like one of the chords it shows simply flip that die and reroll one at a time Great feature Awesome app
When I decided to try Chord Dice I hoped it would be a fun way to mess around but didnt have a huge expectation for anything more than that I was right it is fun But its also turned out to be a very serious tool for generating inspiration and cracking the whole writers block thing Its also begun to reinforce my awareness and intuition in terms of theory and especially the Circle of Fifths Ive played guitar for almost 30 and have seen a lot of gimmicky products finger exercisers stretchers speed learning videos etcbut Chord Dice is a real and significant tool for both learning and creating Highly recommended Very happy with Chord Dice
