Love the game just as I remember but no iCloud support is inexcusable for a game nowadays let alone one with a price tag like this           Good game needs some more help

I really loved the game just like the original The only problem is the the movement Like many of the reviews I shall state the same death peak is pretty much impossible If it wasnt for the slippery controls I would be able to finish the game but I had to cut my game short and call it quits Please fix the controls I have tried death peak about a million times and I have not gotten past the 2nd tree Would have been 55 but with the controls its just a 25        Really enjoyed it until

My brother showed me this game on his Nintendo DS a couple years ago Since then I loved the game and one day I decided to go on my phone and see if I could play one of my favorite games on the go So I went to the App Store and searched for this game and guess what it was there for a great price So I bought it and I am so glad I did because this is a great game This game should be worth 20 but its not This is a game I highly suggest you try out                 Simply AMAZING

This is a review of the port not the game in general The movement controls are very awkward Give us the option to make a stationary joystick like many other RPGs have On iPhone 6 there are two large empty spaces on the left and right sides The game obviously isnt formatted for iPhone 6 Normally this wouldnt be a problem except that Im not allowed to place the movement joystick into those places Youre forced to do all your movement right in the middle of the screen This is awkward distracting and actually uncomfortable for your hand The graphics have a strange glossiness that didnt exist in the other ports Its ugly        Needs to be better optimized for iPhone 6

I love the GAME but this iPhone version keeps crashing on my iPhone 4 always after I make any good progress so I end up HAVEING to fight bosses multiple times stuff its just very inconvenient please fix this           Too much crashing

Where to start Oh yes the battle settings are stuck in active mode changing them does absolutely nothing The game constantly freezes up and crashes Now the sound has quit working All this in less than 48 hours after purchase Other reviews that are MONTHS old complain of the same issues so I know that my experiences are not new or isolated     WHY WONT SQUARE FIX THIS APP

Playing Chrono Trigger on your phone is certainly a treat There is a lot of whiny babies here but the truth is that this game works well Never had it crash and Death Peak only takes you a few minutes                 Awesome

This game is great and I love the controls Please add the ability to upload saved games to the cloud so updating the app and ios dont erase my progress like the final fantasy games are able to do these days           Please Add iCloud support

I love the additions of the extra areas from the DS version Dimensional Vortex Lost Sanctum I was surprised because I hadnt played the DS version and it really added to the fun of the original game The controls are not as bad as some make it seem for Death Peak I made it in my second shot just taking it easy and paying attention on an iPhone 5 Well worth the promotional 499 I picked it up for during the holidays                 The controls are fine

Excellent game Interface is good if a bit hard to get use to What holds this back are unceasing crashes in the middle of the game I use iPhone 4 but its no excuse or solution to just say its meant for the iPhone 5 FIX these CRASHES     Good Game but It Crashes

I love this game Such a fantastic RPG I have two complaints No iPad version Yes I play this on my iPad at 2X It would be so nice to release an official iPad version No Retina Thats a shame Otherwise love the game              No iPad version

This game was a lot of fun until I got to Death Peak for a major story mission Because you have to switch between running and walking on the fly the controls make it impossible to get past the first part If there could be an option to add a Run button in one of the corners then we could get through this at a manageable rate Would have been 5 stars but the controls make it impossible to properly finish the game           Great until Death Peak

This game DESERVES five stars as without a doubt its a masterpiece even the controls Death Peak takes two thumbs learn how to walk and run before righting rubbish about a good game Whats holding this to the lowest score is the freezing Im at end game and have been repeatedly freezing at the end of the rainbow shell side quest in Guardia King trial right where they say WAIT Ive been able to get through some freezes but now Im done for Yes using an iPhone 4 but why ISNT that listed under compatible devices instead of under details Thats just wrong Fix this     Crashes Crashes Crashes

A great game and a pretty good port overall I agree that the controls can be awkward My personal preference to solve the problem would be to make it universal so it can be played on iPad and add mfi controller support as well           Little things holding it back

A lot of people on here down vote the game simply based on one level and while Ill admit it is a bit challenging it is not impossible to complete it simply requires precise measuring of the movement rows so that when your character runs up it lines up to stick to the trees Aside from that the game is incredible to stand time and still be enjoyable                 Death Peak is passable

Controls are not bad at all In fact I might even like them more than secret of mana I didnt download for a year because of all the bad reviews Now I know they were just complaining over nothing              Controls are FINE

What needs fixing Everyone loves this game but losses fact of what needs fixing Chrono Trigger has a bug where it will cause the game music stop playing Though the sound Fx will still be working It still needs some optimizing for the wide screen iOS devices If the in game picture isnt widen at least make the walking controls work full wide screen The color buttons in place of XY BA needs to be labeled Parts of the game still says to press Letters not color Example is in the future where u move barrels with a claw Set up iCloud backups So our games can sync between iOS devices Example my iPhone to my iPad Also after the initial nostalgia of playing this game on a iOS device i cant believe the outstanding price tag More people will buy if it was half price cheaper And I will never get Dragon Quest That crap is 20 Fix the prices and make more money Or keep same and make much less I love the added bookmark feature to save state in any area of the game hats off to that add in good job           Lets be honest

If this was an app for both iPhone and iPad it might help with the control issues           Only iPhone

Of all the different versions of this game I have played this is BY FAR the worse one Id rather suffer through the he PS1s load times than with the terrible controls I tried to enjoy it I really really did hell I had to after spending ten bucks on it but if I can at least persuade people to not buy this game until things are improved then Ill be good Do not touch this game     Great game terrible controls

One of the worst ports Ive ever seen Awful resolution lookes worse than on the actual Super Nintendo terrible controls that you cant even change this game is just begging for a virtual dpad This makes sega cd on iOS seem like a complete remake That was a great port This on the other hand is just lazy A game as great as this deserves a better port Especially at the price of NINE DOLLARS I want a refund Please update this mess and Ill give a much higher rating        Terrible port good game

This game is actually really good I delayed purchasing it because of some of the reviews Let me just say theyre wrong It works fine and is very fun Worth every penny                 Why is almost everyone complaining

Compared to my fond memories of the SNES version of this game The changed item names and poor controls make many of the features that made this game amazing when it came out unplayable Its too bad but maybe if they add mifi controller support this may be playable but Im done until then           Unsatisfactory

Play this baby with the sound all the way up The controls take a little getting used to but once you get the touch screen controls down youre fine The game looks and sounds great Im playing on the iPhone 6 Its everything I remember from the SNES version and more I just finished my first play through and have already started the New Game no complaints here A must download for classic RPG fans Also not a bad idea to switch the movement from Both to Walk in the settings Just a tad fidgety but as stated earlier nothing to complain about                 Just download it

I have recently been getting into retro gaming and rpg gaming and this was perfect but the controls are a little but you can get used to it some parts are frustrating and not a clear tutorial on how to play but you pick it up pretty fast I easily played two hours straight before putting it down Very addicting and immersive              Good Game

Couldnt wait to play this again however after bringing Marle back and then talking to the real queen my app freezes then crashes This completely prevents me from progressing past this part Also like others said the controls could use some obvious improvement              Great game but

I just finished my first play through and am halfway through another New Game No issues so far Im actually pleased with how fast the game is on an iPhone 5S practically nonexistent load times Also pleased with how easy the controls were once I got used to moving around I understand the complaint from other reviewers but its really not difficult once you get used to it The only spot I had a particularly frustrating time with the touchscreen joystick was Deaths Peak but I still made it through on the third or fourth try Not bad considering If you have trouble with the joystick movement I suggest you go to Settings and switch movement to run only instead of both walk and run Its way easier to control I do kind of miss the animated cutscenes from the PS1 version but this version is definitely worth buying if you dont have or want to carry around a Nintendo DS                 Works perfectly once you get used to controls

The translation is cleaner sure but it wasnt bad to begin with The menus backgrounds and fonts are all different and mismatched to the graphics throughout the rest of the game The samples for the music are just different enough to make it upsettingly strangesounding compared to the original soundtrack Battle menu navigation is convoluted and clumsy and movement controls are even clumsier making some parts of the game like the Norstein Bekkler games impossible        Kills the nostalgia

Game its showing its age but its age makes it a classic This is my all time favorite RPG and the overall story and gameplay is top notch Im playing it on a iPhone 6 and I am having no problems what so ever The only negative Ive seen is it doesnt fit the entire screen cause of its format not sure if it fits iPhone 5 or 4 perfect but just leaves a black space on both sides but nothing to noticeable and its a little blurry when looking at the overall map but the enhanced sharp looking menu and option screens stats weapons items and gear look fantastic I havnt reached death peak yet so I will be doing a follow up Right now Im having a blast on all the old memories lol I hope I remembered all the right things to do in the fair so I dont go to jail Im glad I bought it because it was well worth it even at 10                 Just as I remembered it

This is an amazing port to an amazing game I love the fact I can play it wherever I want The controls are just fine dont listen to people who say otherwise Pay the 10                 Low reviews are wrong

It took me forever to find the sweet spot BUT if you downshift your thumb right as you come up to the tree youll walk briskly enough not to be blown away Its tough on a phone but definitely possible                 Death peak is possible

I play it on iPad mini always have I stopped playing for a while just cause of all the new games out on iOS But wen I finally returned to playing it yesterday a part of the screen is cut off on the top part to where I have no idea how much HP the charters have during battle I cant really continue to play when the charters can die anytime and I wouldnt even know it Hoping for an update so I can finally beat this game If not then I guess Ill end up deleting it Granted I know its an iPhone game but Id figure it would be able to fix on an iPad mini screen like it used to Update Perfect due to the update unfortunately I delegated my game on my iPad mini so now I have to start all over but with my iPhone 6 plus Ill be enjoying this game to the max Thanks                 Love the game but

iPhone 4gs here I play this game several times a day and experience lock ups in the same consistent locationscorrupt data I would reinstall but without cloud sync I fear to lose my saves Game is Still worth playing if you can get it on sale           Pretty good but buggy
