The new look is classy however it takes a while to find some articles This is still my first stop for local news              Like the new look
You cant comment on articlesblogs You cant read anyone elses comments Ive been trying for a few days and I cant get logged in Pretty sure the Enquirer doesnt give a rip about all of these 1 star ratings and poor comments     Poor
Ever since the change of the Enquirer I have been unhappy No sense in listing reasons they have been stated in previous unhappy reviews I find myself Not coming to this app Then last night I clicked on What a disaster I read reviews Someone referred to the mess I saw as Update Youve got to be kidding me     Star Rating 1
Bring back the crossword puzzle or go back to the old format     New but not improved
I use this daily and appreciate its functionality                 Daily Visit
I live in San Diego but I used to live in Cincinnati so I check out this app to get the latest on the Reds and Bengals The San Diego Union app is a piece of garbage This Cincinnati app is far superior                 VERY NICE
I find it harder to navigate And where is the crossword hiding I searched all over and still havent found it        Its ok
It is great to read what is going on in our different communities Always a good way to keep up with what is going on in my city              Communities
A great app overall would like the option to share articles though              Nicely Done
Take some lessons from good news sights like the Wall Street Journal     Review
I like the functionality of the app Its very user friendly But I miss having a crossword puzzle to do daily I would like the enquirer to include a daily printable crossword puzzle the same one thats in the printed paper              Crossword puzzle is missed
My parents were customers my mother remained a customer after my father died I grew up watching her work the puzzles and every night she saved the funnies for bed I guess I grew up to be just like her Now the chain has broke I quess you know where this is going I received 2 Sunday papers in April The electronic system is better in that respect because I could always get the paper onlinebut online I cant get the funnies or the puzzles     Boo boo boo
Local news is well covered but how about more national and international news Would love more maps with the news as well whether its a story on a Cincinnati neighborhood or the Middle East Help educate your readers Thanks              Widen the scope
Looking at the recent reviews of the current edition I fail to see how the app can garner such a rating Not only should we be rating the app but also the content The Enquirer has rid itself of most of its quality established experienced journalists It seems that young less experienced journalists who rely on Twitter and Facebook as their primary source rule the roost Lets rate not only for app functionality but for content Lets rate for proofreading grammar and content without bias but with substance        We should rate not just the app but also the content
The good news is you only have to read it about once a week The bad news is you only have to read it about once a week Thats enough to catch all the stories     Stale
I am not happy with the format Liked the previous app better Enquirer seems to be more concerned about change for sake of change rather than giving readers what they would like and how they would like it     Not a fan
I could not find a way to search the site Without a good search function without a good search function the site is a waste of time        How to search
Crashes every time when trying to access a story In its present form it is useless to me on my iPad 2     Crashes
Really miss reading comments and online discussions Some articles are outdated     Comment availability
This is probably the worst online newspaper that charges for access to content For comparison to papers for mid size cities I suggest that you look at the Milwaukee SentinelJournal and the San Jose Mercury The Enquirers content is small and often dated Computationally the site is unstable     Inadequate not worth paying for
Like all the features great on the road                 Addition edition
No access to comments awkward layout and design but accurately reflects the poor editing and weak reporting of the newspaper        Weak on all fronts
The prior version was much better and had more features The reason this version is so limited is that they want you to purchase a subscription to the Enquirer probably the only way to sell it now that the editorial position has gone liberal Take heart there are plenty of other apps to enable getting local news     Such a disappointment
2thumbs up                 Love this app
New update is smooth Less crashes than prior version                 Like the update
Blah blush           it generally works But are they making this a subscription base as well
Seeming to spend too much time making the interface look pretty and none on making it a good newspaper Latest iteration has taken away functionality to make things look simple and clean Could care less about scores and Deal Chicken Where are my games And there is no way to forward an interesting article        All looks poor functionality
Just like the print edition of the Enquirer it is full of typos and poor spelling and incorrect grammar           Sloppy
Clean simplewould like to see Facebook commenting added back              Great app
What section did you put the crossword and other games           Where are the games
Love the way it is layer out Easy to click and read storys                 Great App
I am surprised to read all the harsh criticism of this app I think the new version looks great and crashes less than the old version Appreciate the efforts and investment The Enquirer is making and am happy to support with my subscription dollars As a frequent business traveler the iPad app is what I use to stay current on local news                 Nice update
This is like picking up the actual paper every morning Actually the content may be more inclusive than the paper version I use it every morning to check headlines weather and local entertainment It is free so I am content with some advertising                 Good replication of paper edition
Very infrequently updated not unusual to see the same stories remain for several days if not a week or more Spelling and grammatical errors are frequent embarrassing for the city to have this app represent Cincy     My 5th grade English teacher would be embarrassed
The new app is very pretty but disappointing in substance Doesnt provide comments to articles Doesnt allow commenting on articles Doesnt let reader forward link to people Navigation on obituary page is nonexistent But what choice do we have this is the only way to read the Enquirer on an iPad Please Enquirer put some money into getting it right           Reader
I enjoy reading it while out of town it keeps me up to date with hometown news              Enquirer online
The notifications sent by this app are endless Every traffic jam broken down car stabbing killing jwalking sports resultwhatever they send a notification I have turned off all notifications for the app and they still keep coming Ugh        OMGNotificationswill you stop
No oped no crossword no comics since you only get half the paper Gannett should only charge half the subscription fee        Not ready for prime time
Very good news updates and details                 Excellent updates and layout
Much worse than the prior app Lacks letters opinion and puzzles And you have to pay for this All of this on top of a newspaper that provides only a few new articles each day most of which are right from the police blotter stabbings burglaries car accidents What a waste     TERRIBLE
Seems like they cut lose with a beta version before its time Photo slideshows are cropped off at the tops and the bottoms Often you cannot read the caption in its entirety The crossword is gone which I personally enjoyed Sad excuse for a complete electronic paper     Same content but
Where is the photo section One of the best parts missing No crossword Looks like the Enquirer took a step back     Not an improvement
When will this app allow sending articles via email Facebook Twitter etc other newspaper apps allow sending articles           Send articles
Its not like there arent other newspaper apps out there on the market LA Times San Francisco Examiner and even some other Gannett papers that have better navigation and format Why is it so hard to check how photos are cropped when the article on Maria Rivas was placed in the new app Nice square crop where shes headless I checked the old app and the portrait came through fine No PDoc section No comment section Hey can someone do a spell and grammar check now and then You guys need better oversight from the editor in chief        One step forward two steps back
The new and improved Enquirer iPad app is terrible No opinion page and no ability to read or make comments First you raised subscription fees and made the paper reading experience less enjoyable by shrinking the paper and reducing content thus encouraging subscribers to go online Now the Enquirer has made the online experience less enjoyable as well Remind me again why I continue to pay for a subscription     Terrible
I love reading the paper on my IPad I can adjust the font to any size I need But what happened to the comics and the coupons Some adjustments are needed but it is a good start                 Adjustment
Liked the functionality of the prior app No ability to see comments or make them Even on the web version in Safari you cannot see the Facebook comments as the scrolling function does not work        Poor app
Youd have thought wed be beyond this but no Poor writing redundant content articles of local interest make it seem like were living in Mayberry Apparently there are no editors nor even copy reviewerswould it kill anyone to at least spellcheck Makes me wonder if they are still using typewriters     A reflection of the backward Cincy stereotype
Improvement over last version Plus cleaner design no obnoxious ads that make zero attempt to target Minus lost the ability to comment no tailoring of ads content for users based on their interests no I dont want to buy a Honda              Improvement but lacks commenting
App works as advertised Better than the paper paper              Easy to read and keep up with events in Cincinnati
