When I started playing the first thing I noticed was the colorful and happy art style of the game s graphics The problem here is that you can tell where some objects have simply been taken from real life pictures which isn t bad but the crude edge of where they were cut out in Photoshop is apparent at points Again not horrible but could use some work Also the graphics don t seem to be optimized for retina displays and the menu buttons are STRIKINGLY similar to those of Candy Crush Some originality here would have been nice but if it ain t broke don t fix it I suppose In terms of the actual gameplay I actually enjoyed creating the various treats quite a lot and I found the controls to be fluid and easy to use Some of the animations in game could use some work but nothing too bad I also liked the option to save what you have created in the fridge and also the ability to share your treats over social media Unfortunately these features were completely overwhelmed by advertisements and pop ups every couple of seconds I understand the need for ads in a free game but in this case they almost hinder the player s ability to get through making their food The presence of in app purchases is also made VERY apparent when you go to choose a sweet to make I definitely don t think in app purchases are a bad idea but it would be nice to know what you actually get when you buy one For 4 99 a pack you want to make sure you are getting your money s worth and even then that s a lot of money to spend for some extra accessories to use on decorating your food In terms of sound I thought the sound effects for the various actions your perform were decent and the music wasn t bad either The problem was that the music didn t continue throughout the game I think some background music while you play is always important in contributing to the experience of the app but there was none to be found here Although my review may have seemed very critical of this game it is actually because I think the idea has potential to be a lot of fun It just needs some improvements to clean up the experience a little bit and it will be a great app             Fun Game with Some Problems Ben13579
