The CitationExplorer is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at a hefty 191073, so make sure you have plenty of free space on your iOS device. This app collects detailed citation numbers from the Inspire-HEP database and shows them in a timeline. Just type in "last, first" in the text box and click "add". I know I shouldn't care about citation numbers. ...
If you want to pull up a relatively small citation record several thousand cites the app does it perfectly but there are problems with large records So if for example Prof X has 30K citations you may not gonna get the plot since the app will crash half way though I wonder how many times did the author had to reopen the app to plot E Witten s record 100K cites Cute app but crashes if asked to pull up massive records pkarjala
