I just started playing this game I tried submitting the following email to the designer s website YOUR IPHONE APP OF CITY OF SECRETS 2 EPISODE 1 HAS CAPTIONS OR SUBTITLES BUT THEY MOVE TOO FAST PLEASE SLOW THEM DOWN OR MAKE IT SO THEY DON T MOVE UNTIL WE TAP THE SCREEN The message failed to send This is causing me issues because there s no sound and no speech so without being able to read the subtitles I can t figure out what to do next I just saw Pocopane flash across the screen after a bunch of subtitles flew by         Complaint Remnant1018

I would rather have waited for the whole game and paid more This was very short it s one chapter of the game so you get a get out of the room intro and then one walk around a town Pretty depressing really even though the game quality is otherwise just as good as CoS 1 It loses some of the charm with the breaking it up because it s so short that you don t get much time with it What happens in the longer game is that some sections are harder than others so overall you monkey enough to rely get into the game This one isn t as engaging because you only really get into it and then it s over It also doesn t have replayability without the rest The overall game if it were together I m sure I d give it 5 stars without a doubt It was a bad choice to break it up it really makes for a sad feel where 5 for the whole long game would feel like the right price I can t say enough about how good it would be as a long game though It s entertaining it s interesting and if you haven t played city of secrets 1 pick it up It s great This one would be if it were whole try it play it and then wait till all the chapters are out and pick them all up at once so it plays better That s what I m going to do I did pick up their other games too pipes and skyline they re mini games but good logic puzzles especially if you re the sort who likes sudoku Note about the grandparent complaining about stealing in the game it s minor and it s a sarcastic shot at point and click games where to move forward you take anything that s not nailed down He s pointing out that it s stealing that s why it s funny This game is not crude or inappropriate kids could enjoy it safely Adults will find it funny too there are a lot of meta comments and quirky humor but nothing outrageous or risqu its a very clean game             Good but very short Solrisen

A disappointing sequel to a great game As mentioned by many it has production value with nice graphics sound etc however if falls very short of expected in game play The episode is really short and on the hardest setting the puzzles are way too simple to offer any challenge The price is also a point to address While 99c would not be too much for an hour of playing the episode is over in 20 min and it feels more like reading a comic than playing a puzzle game I doubt I will be buying more episodes         Not so great thedoms

The production values are top notch great visuals fun voice acting fun Sam and Max style humor But it s way too short There s two problems with this first the price For 1 I don t feel slighted for 5 I think it s a tough sell I try to use a movie price comparison 5 is a little less than half the price of a movie ticket and it s a little less than half the length of a movie Telltale games by contrast tend to take me 90 minutes for 5 episode Thats a pretty good value A movie s worth of enjoyment for 1 2 the price of a ticket I don t mind paying 5 10 even 20 if the value is there i am just not sure that value is there at 5 episode if they are all going to be one sitting jaunts The second issue is that short episodes mean no really challenging puzzles The original City Of Secrets had some decent challenges This game is just a breeze through even on the harder difficulty There s too few locations too few items and the puzzles are all really basic What s there is great There s just not a lot there             Length is an issue Jzerocsk
