Unusable     Crap

There is no way to tell this app what city Apparently it is supposed to work based on location data NOT I live in Atlanta The Latest News is Kingston Springs NY Wilmington DE Sedona AZ and Weatherford TX Also I was really pleased with the timeliness February 1 2014 only 13 months ago     Worthless Information

I have used this app for several years It is easy to use and effective Issues reported to the City of San Jose using this app are addressed quickly and thoroughly                 Best application for reporting information

This app is terrible dont waste your time     Hot garbage

This makes reporting area problems easy but with one complaint in LA there doesnt seem to be any marking when an issue has been resolved or even if it is in process Some issues like dumped garbage seem to get resolved quickly but others like homeless encampments just malinger with no indication how or when they will be addressed              Great but no followup

Thanks to these guys for making an app that actually raises the value of my neighborhood Not to mention saving me the hassle of dealing with city hall to keep the street lights fixed on our street                 Raised my property value AWESOME

How great that I can send a detailed report w pics exact location directly to the city in a matter of minutes No sitting on hold listening to muzak One limitation in the Escondido edition is having only 2 ways to sort reports map view or list If I cant sort by date or status I cant know how recently the problems occurred how relevant the report is or which reports may be still unanswered Also what does the thumbsup button mean What does it mean to like a pothole report Overall Im satisfied w this app look forward to any future improvements I hope my city expands use and acceptance of such handy reporting tools please let us report code violations too           Satisfactory with some limits

The app works well Upon submitting a report I receive within minutes an acknowledgement explaining which Brookhaven department will look into it and what to expect They acted and repaired the problem              Timely Response

Grabbed the app to report a simple pothole Went down to the site snapped a pic plugged in my info hit send After about 30 seconds it alerted me that it wasnt able to submit and then proceeded to get stuck in an animation loop Tried it again to submit the same report once I was back home on wifi Starting it back up it asked if Id like to submit pending reports I consented It crashed Opened it again at home see above for the process this time it once again resulted in popping up an error box afterwards getting stuck in an animation loop Still havent submitted my report and now Im not quite sure how this is less effort than just calling the local Omaha hotline     Excellent idea poorly executed

Hard to use on iOS My location was not accurately recorded twice interface is tiny and cluttered     Disappointed

Crashes often Also it has an anonymous option but still makes you enter name and contact info           Ok

Not only is this app extremely functional its an unbelievably valuable tool to make communities more ascetically appealing and safer as well Ive used this app to report everything from roadblocks to abandoned cars and furniture The results have been terrific within 2448 hrs the issues have been addressed Great Job CitySourced                 Terrific app with a noble purpose

This is a really good app Been trying to get City of Wheaton IL to consider Civic Engagement app Use this a a good example when communicating with city officials and departments                 Way better than Civic Hero

I live in Atlanta but the app doesnt recognize my location and tailor info for the area Also each time Ive attempted to create a profile the app crashes without saving any of the keyed info Not a functional app     Not Functional

I save hours per week of computer entries No more searching for addresses 311 is good for a couple of entries at a time then give me a hard time This app lets me submit as many as I care to I can do more work in much less time Looking forward to updates as well                 A miracle app

Great app I use it everyday The citizens need to be able to respond to a comment by the city administrator when they make a comment that is incorrect or when they say its duplicate Sometimes the administrator Does not know the neighborhood and it is not a duplicate but reporting another issue of the same type in the same area              Great app

I find this app to be both slow and cumbersome I click show reports near me and get nothing returned Not a likely scenario     Slow Cumbersome

I work for Animal Control in New Orleans and was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from CitySourced regarding loose dogs in my jurisdiction I never knew this existed but it really does forward issues to the appropriate people Its wonderful that it will pinpoint the location on a map so you dont have to know the exact address to report something Everyone should download this                 It works

Nice idea but I have no confidence in this app Under the My City tab 80 reports are listed most without a location some in LA some 2000 miles away Explanations of the apps workings are skimpywho exactly gets a submitted report in my city Is there some acknowledgement or response Devs do a lazy job at answering these and other questions I want to like this app but it seems to just be a vanityfeelgood halfattempt at a potentially powerful use for smartphone tech        12 baked

Response time was faster than 311 when reporting illegal trash dumping This is exactly what 311 attempts to do with their phone system but the app is a much more efficient and effective way to go about it And this new update is very welcome allowing photos from the camera roll instead of live photo taking Keep up the great work                 Works great in NYC

Pretends like it works but it does not do anything and is very bug filled No way to edit or delete reports and way to many server errors     Total junk

This was brought to our attention during a downtown San Jose residents meeting I must say its a great resource in that it helps citizens stay informed and engaged in this era of economic strain and massive budget cuts The app did crash in iOS 501 however I have not checked as to whether the devs updated yet              Very Good

I like the idea however I brought to attention the fact that my street never got finished with the road being newly paved PGE put in new gas lines but after 4 months they still havent finished paving City Source states my request was closed after 1 Day I called PGE and said I would get a response within 5 Days still no response Every report Ive submitted gets closed with no action The app doesnt show who is accountable for following up This app gets 1 star     Good idea but what is your citys follow up like

I havent had to report a problem but I love to see what kind of problems there are in my neighborhood Does the thumbs up icon show the city that more than one person agrees that there is a problem              City sourced

I love CitySourced it has helped me keep track of and report all kinds of issues in my neighborhood The bugs that were affecting it in previous versions were fixed in this release so its great to see that the team running it is actually listening                 Cleaned up

I like the premise of this app but its useless because I dont think its even monitored Ive submitted 2 requests so far one a few months back and one a couple of weeks ago and they were never even reviewed Looking at completed requests seems they only care for school property and nothing more Thats great but the community is made up of more than just schools     Useless app that goes no where

As a City Councilman I am so pleased to know that an app like this exists Ive just recently been testing it out and am so pleased with it I will be encouraging others to start using it This is a great way for elected leadership to be able to see what really matters to those they represent                 Great tool for civic engement

While I love the central idea of this app an easy convenient way to report problems to town hall the execution design leaves much to be desired The interface was hard to use and I had to reinput the information 3 times before it went through The photo remained as a teeny tiny thumbnail so that it was impossible to review it once taken When inputting info into the various fields they did not scroll into view but hid behind the keyboard it took a while to figure out that I had to scroll the input field above the keyboard before entering text Ultimately it took way more time and frustration than it would have taken to just call town hall and report the problem directly And after 3 days I have yet to get confirmation that my report was received by town hall so it makes me wonder if the report was even delivered Great idea for an app lousy execution But if they can fix these problems I would consider using it again Until then Im going old school and calling town hall with my phone     Disappointing app

App good for reporting data and concerns Gps does not work even though I gave exact address of site See that report goes somewhere to City system but no idea what happens to it and no follow up report sent to my email When I received training on this software was never confirmed if a request to the Mayors office was still needed to complete the process Need more data cannot make bricks without clay        Elementary dear watson
