Ever wonder why so many astronomy apps are so complex? We do. So we made Classic Sky Map simple and intuitive enough for anyone to enjoy. The interface is straightforward, the controls are easy to ...
As clunky as it looks this app does a great job of identifying and locating each cb in the night sky Nice
I use both this and starwalk for a rounded sky reference Nice
I just started to try identifying objects in the night sky for nieces nephews and Grandkids I find it pretty useful and easy to use Novice revue
Surprisingly Sophisticated in a pleasing design style Hasnt let me down yet Who put all their hard work into this one I would hire them had I a few Cant wait to try it on an iPad I Like it
This is set up well but not great for iPads I would like to have it give satellite names or have a search function so I could look for specific objects This app is better then some of the other similar ones Good not great
Beautiful star map easy to use Great app Beautiful
great app love the pics that r shown w the constellations i love seeing the stars reaching for the stars
This is the old formerly discontinued app called iAstronomica from the developer Artistic Techworks reborn in new skin and apparently under a new author I had wanted to add this to my collection three or four years ago but did not buy it before it suddenly vanished from the App Store Many stars have been added along with deep sky objects but it still can not see below the horizon Constellation lines are faint and available only in the inferior HA Rey or MacRoberts versions that look cool but do not properly portray what one sees in the sky Interface is easy to use but needs polish to integrate new features with the older underlying design Full screen mode is one of the best looking easiest reading of all star charts for iPod Solid as is with great potential Suitable for use with optics but excellent for those wanting a simpler app for nakedeye astronomy Glad to see the old code base resurrected and improved Welcome Back
Sad Previously great w iOS 511 Crashes on open with iOS 6 iPhone4S
Not what expectedquite disappointed I am requesting a refund of 499 that was spent towards this application Wish your company well in future business practices Thanks Refund Please

Best star app I could find After I showed my friends they changed apps and the way you view the sky Very informative and easy to use If you like stars or just want know what that is in the sky get this Best ever
Love this app Review
A fantastic app that gives a great amount of info on the night sky without overdoing it So easy to use Another reason to bring an iPad camping How about adding a little audio perhaps commenting on that evenings night sky certain objects or partner with the folks at star date an audio program I hear on the radio from time to time Great easy to use and fun
It could contain more astronomical information but when is enough Needs sky display inversion so you can more easily use it on table tops your lap etc Right now its designed to be held overhead only Nice graphics and easy to use
Good Mr K
I love this my son and I use it all the time We havent managed to stay up or wake up to see anything spectacular but are planning trips to grammas house in the country based on the Sky Activity information in this app We spotted a few little falling stars together thanks to this Everyone should try it It takes the guess work out of having to locate the portion of the sky you need to focus on because it does that for you Awesome
