Classical 101 WRR Radio

Easy to use No connectivity problems This is a great app for an outstanding radio station Now I can listen anywhere                 Great App

I LOVE WRR and was excited when I heard the announcer mention the app but I tried to listen several times and it doesnt work unless I go to the web stream The links like Play List take you to the web site which defeats the purpose of a mobile app After just one day Im no longer able to load it I tried deleting and downloading again That didnt help either This can be a great app Please make it work     Needs a lot of improvement

The mobile app is lame and unimaginative though I agree with the other reviewers who say that the name of the piece being played the composer the performers names should all be a part of the way the app works Besides playing the great music all it does it sit there changing background colors on a static boring picture           WRR 101 favorite station

I was waiting for this app Now I can listen to my favorite show Art Matters on my iPad Thank you WRR                 Thank you

Im from Dallas and live our only classical station WRR But alas it now wont even start playing An easy alternative is TUNEIN radio app free version is good but I paid for upgrade almost immediately it was so rich in features     Crashes and ALTERNATIVE

App no longer works since updating to iOS 6     Needs updating

I must agree with my fellow listeners It was a nice and user friendly App until the telephone upgrade Where as once I could putter about the house and grounds even town with WRR baroqueclassical music in my pocket it began to crash upon pressing the Play button How very depressing Please fix ASAP I cannot be tied to web stream to enjoy the variety of your station Preupgrade 4 star     App

Only thing this app does is shut down when i press play Needs to be fixed     App crashes doesnt work

I love this app Its great and always works However it would get all five stars if it could somehow show what piece is currently playing on the app screen or at least make a mobile version of the website to show what is playing Something like this should have been put in since the beginning        What piece is this

App works well and lets me listen to my favorite classical station anywhere in the world                 Wonderful

Its great that I can listen to it through Safari but when I try to play it from the app it keeps crashing and I cant listen to anything except through Safari        Crashing

I heard them advertise the app on the radio and was ecstatic WRR anywhere Yes However my happiness didnt last too long because the app just kept crashing every time I pressed play Really hope they fix this soon because I love this station and would love to listen to it anywhere     Needs LOTS of improvement

Great playlist Really good station Im glad I can tune in like this However being able to see what piece is playing would be nice Plus more reliability and less crashes Thank you           Needs work

Would love this to be iPhone 5 optimized Also it crashes and I have had to reload it twice which has been frustrating Although announced on air would be great to have the composer and title of the piece that Im listening to available to read off the app           Just ok

Yes it streams the audio programming from the Dallas classical music station Sometimes the audio drops out and does not recover until you relaunch the app but the audio streaming is generally okay Unfortunately the caption that is supposed to tell you what is playing is wrong as often as it is right This afternoon I tuned in and found myself in the middle of a suite that was obviously from Gershwins Porgy and Bess but the app said it was a Telemann Overture I flipped over to the web display of the stations playlist which is also unfortunately not reformatted for easy viewing on a mobile screen and saw Gershwin with nary a sign of Telemann in the afternoon program Too bad It would really be useful to be able to rely on the caption when you start in the middle of something or miss the hosts announcement           WRR 101 Streaming App

Wonderful app and please ignore comments by foolish people that can not even install an app properly                 My thoughts

Have tried for several months and 2 separate iPhones to get this app to work Same story the app plays for a few minutes then stalls Have had no issues with other audio streaming apps just WRR Im deleting it obviously WRR cant createmaintain an app that is reliable Editorial note WRR programing seems to be in a general slide downhill not just the malfunctioning iPhone app Too bad it was an iconic classical music station RIP     WRR App does not work

Listen either gets no signal or crashes when buffering Choosing Background opens the m3u listening file in Safari Info reveals the playlist and more in Safari Didnt try Email Am willing to uninstall and reinstall to see if thats the cure Otherwise can always create a Safari bookmark of the m3u        App Crashes Listen via Alternate Source

Loved the app on my 3GS with iOS 5 now 4s with iOS 6 Crashes every time I hit play Love you WRR     iOS 6 fail

Reinstalled twice with same result     It crashed every time I hit play

I love listening to this station every night but it frequently will stop playing for no reason           Great App Needs bug fixing

This app simply does not work Has a nice icon and starts up but then just exits when you actually try to listen Please fix it     Simply doesnt work
