As a guitarist amazingly realistic simulation of a real guitar I could only give 4 stars because it does not support sliding in fret mode and that is something that is central to guitar playing However the ability to spell your own chords and fingerings is absolutely AMAZING Very very much like real guitar playing              Impressive

For a free app they give you a tremendous amount of customization They really give you a sense of what to expect from Six strings app That being said I would have no issues buying the full version even if its a little pricey You get total control of the complete guitar though which puts it ahead of the competition The only thing I would change is I hate it when apps like this that require triggering something make it so the sounds trigger on release It throws of my tempo when doing fast to slow lead lines when the sound is made when you let off the strings I wish it would work the other way So as soon as you touch the string it sounds Thats all              Powerhouse

This free app allows you to strum a beautifully tuned guitar I can play tunes by ear just by plinking away at this lovely sounding guitar I love how this also allows me to learn some of the chords or what they sound like I can see how this could allow you to learn guitar better Its a nice frame of reference and it makes me want to learn guitar again Thank you for this wonderful app PS I went ahead and bought this devs other app six strings based on the strength of this wonderful free app Thank you                 I gave up on guitar back in the 1st grade but

New iPad installed this app and it was very laggy perhaps as much as 12 second delay from picking a string to hearing the note I was rather surprised after reading all of the good reviews perhaps I expect too much Tonality was nice wish it was more responsive        Not very responsive

This app has a great authentic sound to it but my one problem with it is that it lags a bit when playing If you try to play fast you wind up having to slow down or get messed up which can be problematic if you try to play a real classical piece with tremolo or fast arpeggios The sounds are honestly fantastic though and I think that this app has a ton of potential              Good star

For what I paid for this superb app I almost feel guilty its as if had robbed the developers after theyve done such a great job This is one of my favorite applications and the only thing that keeps it from being better is the inability to feel the strings The response and sound clarity is almost as if you were playing the real instrument without having to worry about tuning it Another cool feature for nonguitar players is the fact that when you select a chord the unplayed strings automatically gray out If you download it rate it is the least you can do for the developing team and no Im not related                 Almost theft

I play the real classical guitar and I have found this to be very accurate in sound I can tune my guitar to this is if I so chose to However it is hard to get strum patterns down but fun to goof around with              Very amusing

This is really great and fairly easy to use Strumming is almost right on I could actually see using this thing with other musicians to pull off some musicthe boon is you always hit perfect chords As other comments have notedthe interesting chord combinations do spur ideas for new music and chord progressions Ive been a musician for most of my life and this thing is just pretty cool as well as viable Nice job                 Now thats just cooland functional
