Update 2 Spoke a bit soon with all the praise I commend the awesome ideas and listening to users of the app but ever since updating to the latest and what should be the best version the app refuses to load and crashes upon opening I have deleted and redownloaded and installed it from scratch I have also rebooting my phone to no avail I running an iTouch and OS 313 currently if that info is of any assistance Will raise my vote upon seeing a fix hopefully within less time than it took for the last update for now it seems weve taken a step backwards no matter how good the devs intentions happened to be Update 1 Beautiful new icon Full songs too Now thats what I call great customer service I would have given five stars out of sheer gratefulness but once I upgraded the app would no longer open without crashing Im going to try redownloading it If it works right at that point you have a much higher vote Thanks for listening to buyers Took awhile for the update but the result is what counts Original Review I like the concept of this app very much and it has a beautiful interface but there are two things it needs before it has my full five star vote Starting from small to large 1 A nicer icon The interface of the app is gorgeous yet the icon is so bland and almost unattractive A piece of the gramophone would be a fantastic icon Really it would make such a huge difference to many of us and it would be as simple as copying a small part of the already present and beautiful record player Please consider doing this for your loyal customers It is a small task that would make a huge difference to the majority of users Better icons are some of the most commonly requested app requests Now the big one 2 Let us hear the whole song It is so extremely frustrating to have it cut off in the middle of these beautiful songs You dont have to make them downloadable but just give us the chance to hear the entire track even if its low bitrate or something This lack was almost enough to make me toss the app              Pretty Good Update Currently Not Working

Needs 1multi tasking 2 skip the track forward or backwards 3 Option to randomize when listening to get used to different points in the song Would have rated it 5 stars had it at least two of these features           Limited features

Im a middle school music teacher and I plan to use this app with my kids I think itll be a lovely way to expose them to different composers in preparation for their composer report Plus Really lovely high quality recordings fun graphics and old school vinyl picture Cheap and affordable Fun quiz Nice basic info about the song and composer good intro Minus Cant skip ahead or go back in tracks though it does start where you left off if you close the app and return to it How lovely it would be to fastfoward through to the ending though or skip to the middle The quiz includes song titles on the page which is a dead giveaway It would be nice to have a quiz which is audio only how could I miss that Strauss Waltz Melody was composed by Strauss Pachelbel canon on piano Really You realize he was a baroque artist and the piano hadnt been invented yet How about a chamber recording Or better yet leave Pachelbel off entirely as hes way overplayed It would be great to have more selection Tchaikovsky is a bit overrepresented 7 recordings And Bach is only on there 6 times For shame Id love more SaintSaens or Mussorgsky too Could you put in a few 20th century composers Ives Stravinsky or Copland or how about a few women composers like Fanny Mendellsohn Hildegard Von Bingen or Amy Beach A few representative examples of Renaissance or Medieval music would be fabulous Machaut Josquin du prez or Palestrina              Great music and fun app but needs some work

Why would anyone ever think that people interested in listening to classical music would only want to listen to 30 second clips The interface is also to slow You need to scroll through every piece to find the specific one you like They should be separated by artist Avoid this app Its useless     Big Disappointment

I bought this for the quiz but anyone who knows even a tiny bit about classical music will find this absurdly simple Not only is the composition named but the date is provided And the multiple choices are from different eras My favorite was who composed the Strauss Medley Bach Beethoven Strauss Lully     Quiz too simple

Simple things can make a big difference I believe the classical music will help to relax you Take the rest of the day off relax and have a few drinks with this Apps                 Very nice

I love this app It does what it says it will do Havent had any crashes I love the retro look with the spinning vinyl My only problem with this app is the lack of updates I would give this a 5 star rating if there were updates with more artists and music Other than that I love this app More please           Great app

This app is terrible        I dont like this app

I imagine that this App is terrific but at the moment I can only imagine as when I open it the splash screen appears for a few seconds then the App crashes Ive shut off and restarted the iPhone Ive deleted and reinstalled the App and still it crashes and crashes again The Apps page indicates that iOS 30 or later is required and Im running iOS 313 on an iPhone 3G     Crashes immediately upon opening

This app has a mixture of music I love from different composers that of same genre I bought it since 8th grade and I still listen to it in high school I recommend it for those looking for an app with a high number of selections              Pretty Good and Lasting

Would have given 5 stars but this app does not multitask You cant listen to the music while using other apps The developers need to address this           No multicasting

Ive been waiting for this app since ADS announced it this summer It looks even better than I expected Good collection with many compositions Ive heard but could never name Great start i hope ADS will add more compositions and ability to listen to the full version without buying it on iTunes                 Finally on appstore

It would be even better if there were updates to expand the content                 Great app Delivers on its promise

This is a great classical music app The graphics are very cool and I like the brief bios on each musician              Amazing

Its fine but can you let the music be played after closing the app like Ipod Because normally while listening to music I would like to do something else           Its fine

Try the free lite version to decide I have to admit Im buying this without completing the free quiz providing such a beautiful free sample wins me over it may you too This app has atmosphere and style it draws me in to accept the challenge to really listen to the music Im looking forward to audio pleasure thank you To the publisher 1 Removed two stars Important feature is needed a very tiny option to NOT display the name of the piece When taking a quiz for composers the whole idea is to listen but when you place the pieces title right in front of my eyes this gives too much of a clue and lessens the listening value Im not asking you to eliminate titles just that you provide an option to suppress titles Im sorry but this tiny omission is a big problem please fix when you fix the app my review would be 5star if you promise also to increase the values of this app by updating with more pieces in the future 2 Ive not listened yet to all of what youve included but please expand with more and more I want to continue this as a private music appreciation course which I never gave proper attention to in school this is a nice second chance           Beautiful and makes me really listen

This is a very sweet app by which I mean it has found my sweet spot The concept is terrific the opening content is choice but it should be continually expanded if that is not too impossible burden to put on the obviously knowledgeable creators of this app There are all sorts of compilations of pop culture apps around Now we have a one for the classical Here Here              Excellent but it must keep going

I would have given this app 4 or 5 stars but because their Art app is so much better I cant Knowing what they could have done with this great idea prevents a higher rating           Homeschooling
