I tried using CleanUSBDrive to remove Mac dot files from a FAT32 USB thumb drive The result was disaster The app deleted media files that I wanted to keep and it littered the drive with many other files including files named journals and dozens of EXEC icons Oddly when I looked at the drive using Disk Utility the number of files on the volume was listed as zero I ve never seen that before I wanted a refund but the App Store did not provide a way to request a refund from Apple Instead the App Store directed me to a support form on the app creator s website So I submitted the form but have had no response In submitting the form I received a PHP script error warning but eventually the form was submitted I thought Apple reviewed apps before allowing them in the App Store but what kind of review happened for this app     Complete failure with CleanUSBDrive Bob-in-SF
