I am pleasantly surprised with this app I was expecting some clumsy slow inefficient interface designed by someone intending to port the journalreading apps to other platforms Instead this feels like it was made for iPad It looks like the publisher is using this software to release several different medical journals on iPad so I am happy that they released it for Clinical Nuclear Medicine one of my favorite journals for my field Swipe left and right to scan the article abstract nicely formatted and colored and when you want to read the article in full color with scan pics swipe up and down It was the fastest Ive ever caught up with my journal reading I wish this format was available from other publishers journals too This format works better for me than the print magazine I can ever find the time to sit down or even remember to bring it with me or RSS feed or emails which always require extra clicks and logging in to read the entire article and requires and email connection This is better than a PDF version because I would never take the time to log in and download a PDF and transfer it to my ipad especially before traveling Cons I dont think all the articles within the current issue are available yet Right now its free but how much will it be later and what does that mean for my print subscriptions This is simply a current issues reader there is no connection or way to search current or prior articles I dont know if the absence of field specific ads is a pro or con You just have to remember to tap on the issues to load if you want your iPad to be ready for say a flight                 Surprisingly fast the fastest Ive ever read 3 issues of this journal
