Did not find out until purchased that you could not manually add tracks to your cd I have many CDs that are old and not all are in the library so I tried to manually add the CD and then add the tracks on the CD Found out that only the Windows version allows this feature and this action is not allowed in the iPad version There was no explanation or did they offer that this feature would be forthcoming They charge for each version        Be careful

I had to uninstall the previous version and install the new in order for it to work Of course this meant syncing the database with the PC again              Required Fresh Installation

All in all a decent app for managing a music collection I am using it to catalog my vinly collection Its ok It looks good and presents the information in an easily accessible way There are a couple of glaring shortcomings though the most significant being the complete inability to edit track listings So If I have to manually enter an obscure album thats not in the database I cant enter the tracks at all Why And the search engine for their music database is totally inadequate If the bar code doesnt get it the only fields you can search are artist and album Sounds fine till youre looking for a particular pressing of The Beatles Abbey Road and you have to dig through all 300 listings How about a catalog number search Release year How about filtering results by format It doesnt help that the app crashes when you open a number of listings in rapid succession looking for the right one as the stone age search engine forces you to do Cloud support is super flakey never quite works right For 15 I expected a lot more Hopefully the app develops to meet its price point           Loads of potential 15 is way too much

I have used various desktop editions of this program for 10 years While the iOS version doesnt have all of the functionality of the desktop version it does allow me to check the information on the go It syncs efficiently with my desktop version                 Nice to have

This app is expensive for what it does You can get similar apps with better interfaces for much cheaper I understand that CLZ offer cloud backup Thats truly in my opinion what drive the price of this app Is it worth it Your call        Expensive

Fantastic product for organizing a large music collection I have nearly 2000 vinyl albums and over 1000 CDs CollectorZ Music puts them at my fingertips Instantly find an album with complete contents if album or CD Best part it interacts with my iPhone and iPad Keeps me from buying duplicates                 Collector Z Music Collectors Dream

This app is probably fine for popular and jazz but in its no help for classical music because there is no lookup by composer The whole idea of the portable app is to avoid buying the same music twice If you want to avoid buying the same composition twice you have to be able to search by composer not by artist performer or by album title Collectorz says they may address the issue in a future release Bob McKee        Useless for collections

So far everything Ive scanned comes up but the 1499 price is a bit steep but its the easiest app Ive found so far to keep track of my large cd library              Great app price needs to be lower

Finally a decent and goodlooking music database Love it Now tge thing that would make it a masterpiece would be to integrate music listening apps to it For example I search for a piece of music that I have in my collection at home while im on the road and theres a button that allows me to search for that same song on Spotify or Beats so i can have my music collection available online              NOT BAD AT ALL

Years ago I used to carry a bulky printout of my music collection with me to use when I went to record stores thats what we called them then in order to avoid purchasing duplicates Now with this extremely useful Music Collector app I always have my entire music database with me It is definitely one of the best apps on my iPhone                 Very useful app

I have over 6000 books catalog end and over 1000 CDs all neatly cataloged in Collectorz It is great to be able to carry around the knowledge of everything that I own It has saved me many times from buying duplicated This is a program that you can easily is also used by the developers The program is very optimized for speed of entry and flexibility This app does what it says very bell and integrate well with the PC version                 Great Program

This is a great application However I would like to display my Albums in iTouch in alphabetical order by title not by artist There is a separate display by artist so I think it would be better to have the Albums display be by title I would also like to have the Tags that I entered in Music Collector display on my iTouch              Display in iTouch

This app requires you to make more purchases after you have already paid the 2400 for it I caution you not to purchase this There are other apps for free or a lesser price that offer the same concept I am trying to figure out how to get a refund for this junk     A waste of 2400

I bought the app for my PC a couple of years ago and then the iPhone app as soon as it came out So I went from memory to a giant printout to hoping the music store had Internet access I could use to now My entire collection listing on a device Im going to be carrying with me anyway I love it I do wish there was some sort of customer loyalty incentive but even without that the app is well worth having                 No more duplicate CD purchases

I do quite a bit of used CD shopping and with over 4000 CDs it can become difficult to keep track if everything I already had all of my CDs cataloged in the Collectorz database in my Mac so this app was a nobrainer The staff is dedicated to fixing any issues you find and can report in their forum                 Great Companion

If you have the PC version you would think it would be easy to upload your collection Well it isnt and much of then much of the your data doesnt transfer The App and the PC versions look very good but are very frustrating to use because they are connected to a very faulty company based server which is poorly implemented You have to strictly abide by their rules which IMO are overly restricted     Difficult to Use and Sync

I have wanted an app like this to be able to show off my collection to people and to avoid buying duplicates Well worth the price I paid for it and the support is the best Thank you for this product                 Awesome

I spent some time using this extremely helpful app for organizing my music Im using it specifically for my vinyl The app is very easy to use has a nice clean design and nice features I am able to take photos of my covers crop them and easily ad them within the program With the iPhone 5 version I can add everything except track listing However I can easily add first from their database which has track listings and then do my personal customizing after that I have only noticed two things of concern One was that the colored background info and design were all different from each other I was told that an update would fix this The bigger concern was organizing I had to make sure to type things a certain way in Sort Title section While everything is in the order I like them to be in the program the order is different in every other section For example if I click on Genre the albums are sorted differently than they are in my main window If I click on artist they are sorted in a completely different order I can keep track of my collection easily now I know exactly what my covers look like what country theyre from and many other details Its great for me to view my collection while Im out browsing the stores No more second guessing My only request would be to have the option to share my whole catalog with my personal notes to friends As of now I can share one album at a time and it doesnt show my notes Sorry for the long winded review I cant say enough about how much I appreciate having this app                 LOVE this app

This is an upgrade All it did for me was crash so I reverted to the previous version Tip never update your iTunes copy first Update from the device If you have problems you can always delete the upgrade from the device and revert to the old version from iTunes     Upgrade

I have been using Music Collector from Collectorz for a few years I have 2650 CDs cataloged Having this information in a readable searchable mobile device will make it easy not to buy duplicate CDs yes its happened a few times The syncing of the device was quick and painless Thank you for a great application                 Excellent port of a great application

Multiple times I have conveyed my requests and ideas to CollectorZ and yet no changes You still have to pay for a scanner you have to pay for desktop software changes when it goes from 6xxx to 7xxx you can not enter ANYTHING into the app no wish lists no commentsnothing has change and it is just a worthless app that lists everything NO MOREiCollect Music has replaced this app and it couldnt come fast enough This app is FREE allows you to use your iPhone to scan the bar codes backuprestore not deskstop software needed The developer is very responsive and listens to his customers and you can DOCUMENT NOTES CREATE WISH LISTS and much more I do NOT recommend this app at all as someone else has listened OLD REVIEW I have used the desktop version of Movies and Music for years but was frustrated when not only did I have to buy each app but I had to pay to upgrade my software to the pro version This was over 119 to install two apps and have them work with my databases I can not afford any of the others because there are no return customer discounts or incentives to keep going When the move to the next major software level such as going from 600 to 700 you will have to pay again The minor updates are free It is just to much when you add up the cost to get going and then the maintenance fees that will eventually catch up with you Too badgreat idea but not customer friendly The app iteslf is fine and works as advertised except for the disappointing ability to add music that I want find or hear to the app and then check it off as you purchase a song There is no where to keep a shopping list of what I need unless I do it on the computer What if I hear a song away from the computer that I want to remember and purchase at a later time Not in this app and it is sad Having my library with me and being able to prevent duplicates plus the bonus of having additional info on the artistsong is another plus I really like these apps and the ability to work with my desktop but the cost has just turned me off to adding anymore     Nice App but EXPENSIVE to Set Up and Maintain

Lacking some standad app features like searching is annoying because it does have auto filtering when you start to type like most apps Also i think its overpriced for what it does        Its ok

Ive used music collector on a PC for 6 years or so and it has been excellent always improving and excellent service To now have it on my iphone is great The only complaint I have is if they invented the iPhone several years ago I would have saved a few bucks from not buying the same cd twice and feeling confident in purchasing others because I can verify I dont own them                 Excellence
